Its a shame this is what politics has come to in Nigeria, tribal sentiment is now key to voting. I really wish this country splits up or at least returns to regionalism, we can't go forward this way! |
Lordofthewest:What a fool, so men of God have no business going to the court? so in other words men of God are higher than the court and higher than the law? so going by your opinion, a man of God who has a court injunction shouldn't honour the invitation because he has no business with the court? if Jesus Christ himself was tried at the court in the presence of Pontius Pilate, Jesus Christ advocates that his followers honour the law of the land and what does the court do? uphold the law, right? so when anyone regardless of your occupation or position in life is in a country or a place governed by the law of the land and that person feels he or she has been unlawfully accused or slandered as in this case, what does that person do? that person goes to the court of law because the land is governed by the LAW! stupid olodo. |

This is why anytime they arrest Nigerians in Kenya or SA people would come to conclusion that they are igbos BECAUSE most Nigerians in other African countries use fake igbo names, I know a lot of people in South Africa that are actually Yoruba but now go about using Igbo names to protect their identity |
No Rwanda, No Ethiopia? I am all for nationalistic sentiment BUT Nigeria should not be on that list, lets be honest please! |

You can't pay a man of God to teach the gospel, if it is truly his calling then he has an obligation to preach and win souls. This is wrong on so many levels and if there is still hope left for the gospel in Nigeria, the men of God should turn it down and instead advise governor Ambode to instead create a youth empowerment SME initiative with the money he intends to give the pastors. Some of these youths that go down the path of yahoo boys or "runs girls" do so not because of a lack of moral inclination or a lack of moral doctrine or teaching (as some would say who morality epp?) rather they do so due to failed government policies and very limited opportunities in the job market, empower some of these youths and watch them turn into self sufficient and self reliant entrepreneurs! The Nigerian problem is not a morality problem, it is rather a problem of poor investment in the capacity of our population and man power. |
