What's the diff btw a plane and a cow ?
Are they not both private business ?
What this diff btw an airport and a ranch ?
Private business?
But we spend billions on building/ repackaging same rickety airports.
Private business abi?

Do you know?

if the govt invest in the ranches and the herders are made to pay per cow monthly for been on the ranch, that's revenue and long term profit for the states

This would also create more jobs and revenge for all those states always looking for bail out

Beef would be more cheaper as its closer

The monoply is broken cause now you have other players on board.

The cow dung would be used for fertilizer and would be readily available at a cheaper rate

The skin aka kpomo, bones, horns can also be processed into other things which also gives rise to factories and employment.

And so much more

Don't allow people with lesser vision tweak yours with ill words this 21st century think like someone in the new age and not stone age.

All this people shouting ismlamization, killer Fulani n co ask them

who's their estate/street/ gateman/ security man ?
Who operates their fruits market eg mile 12 ?
Who's in their sabo market / cattle cow market ?
Who's their gardener ?
Who's their cheapest okada rider?

If the Fulani you say is the killer herdsmen do you think you would be reading Nairaland now ?

Even when you spread the so call killer herdsmen, it makes it easy to spot the rogue ones and deal with them according to law.

If you saying no ranching, what's the diplomatic, life saving and efficient solution you can offer ?

#commonsense
MR OGA, WE SAY NO TO FULANI RANCH COLONY IN IGBO LAND AND IN OTHER PARTS OF NIGERIA!!! WETIN SEF? NA BY FORCE? EVERY BODY HANDLE YOUR OWN LAND. SIMPLE AND SHORT. NO FULANI COLONY ON MY ANCESTRAL HOME LAND.

THIS IS THE WAY TO GO, EVERY REGION SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN RANCH THAT WOULD BE MANAGED BY LOCALS / INDIGENES OF THAT REGION, YORUBA MAN FOR YORUBA CATTLE RANCH, IJAW MAN FOR IJAW CATTLE RANCH, IGBO MAN FOR IGBO CATTLE RANCH, HAUSA MAN FOR HAUSA CATTLE RANCH!

I'd rather eat organic beaf with hardly any fat from cows purchased from lovely hardworking herdsmen who took care of them and raised them than eat a chemical and antibiotic filled beaf. Nansense embarassed
Took care of them? you mean the fulanis that engage in sexual intercourse with their cows? Lol the real people wen sabi dey livestock business are coming to kick you and your violent barbaric sub human herdsmen out of the business.
Culture › Re: Sokoto Caliphate..... A Brief History Of The Fulani Empire by Mrchippychappy(m): 12:18pm On Jul 21, 2018
introvertedsoul:
The Fulani Jihad

Sokoto Caliphate, 19th century

Uthman Dan Fodio's appeal to justice and morality rallied the outcasts of Hausa society. He found his followers among the Fulbe (a Fula tribe and Fulani. The Fulbe and Fulani were primarily cattle pastoralists. These pastoralist communities were led by the clerics living in rural communities who were Fulfude speakers and closely connected to the pastoralists. The Fulani would later hold the most important offices of the new states.
His followers were mostly cattle pastoralists = Herdsmen!

introvertedsoul:
Usman dan Fodio was proclaimed Amir al-Muminin or Commander of the Faithful in Gudu. This made him a political as well as religious leader, giving him the authority to declare and pursue a jihad, raise an army and become its commander. A widespread uprising began in Hausaland. This uprising was largely composed of the Fulani, who held a powerful military advantage with their cavalry

At the time of the war Fulani communications were carried along trade routes and rivers draining into the Niger-Benue valley, as well as the delta and the lagoons. The call for jihad reached not only other Hausa states such as Kano, Daura, Katsina, and Zaria, but also Borno, Gombe, Adamawa, Nupe, and Ilorin. These were all places with major or minor groups of Fulani alims (Men "studying" Islam).
Communications for the impending Jihad was passed to places with Major or Minor Fulani groups, getting them ready for the Jihad, in other words settlements of fulani's, in other words = COLONY! Now where have we heard these words before?

This is a brilliant and very informative write up. lalasticlala abeg front page information here. Everyone should come and read this. History seems to be repeating itself right in front of our very eyes!

All of u on this forum complaining about how soldiers are wasting their lives and how they are cowards for fighting boko haram are actually very stupid and senseless.

So u think u will still be alive today without the little effort of these soldiers abi?

If not for wat these soldiers are doing out there to protect ur life and mine, we all would av been telling a different story today or probably will not even av any story to tell.
There would have been no boko haram if not for the northern politicians and their desperation to seize power back, who do you think are funding boko haram?
Politics › Re: More Photos Of Soldiers Killed In Yobe After Boko Haram Overran Military Base by Mrchippychappy(m): 8:44pm On Jul 17, 2018
They mistook the BH terrorists for fellow military men and opened the gates. lol this is ridiculous, this goes to show just how inept the Nigerian military is, all that money spent on security / defense budget and the military doesn't have a decent communications system, how could you possibly open the gate for BK insurgents to just stroll in and over run your military base? something doesn't seem right in this story, seems like an inside job. The personnel's guarding the gates of the base should be thoroughly investigated!

“Miyetti Allah have been making provocative statements and utterances and later execute them. Can anyone compare lives of human beings with cow. Miyetti Allah have been reacting that it was a retaliatory killings and nobody or DSS arrested them.

“When over 200 were killed in Plateau, nobody was arraigned, it happened in Benue, Miyetti Allah claimed responsibility and nothing happen to their leaders.

“January first, Many were killed in Benue, January 13th, Miyetti Allah came out and said there will be more bloodshed in Benue, and it comes to pass but nobody arrested their leaders the claimants, so how can anybody say Buhari has been fair to Benue people who voted him massively against their Christian brother, Goodluck Jonathan?

“Let me send him a message to him, that Buhari has lost in the entire Benue State, nobody will vote for him in 2019. And anyone who vote for him in 2019 will be cursed,” he stated.

https://lailasnews.com/any-benue-indigene-who-votes-for-buhari-in-2019-will-be-cursed-aji/
Well as the saying goes "no smoke without fire", The bold part above shows that the Benue people played a part in their own destruction, we must always remember that there's always a consequence for the decisions we make in life. The Benue indigenes voted for change and now they have it, its safe to say the curse is already in Benue state.
Politics › Re: State Police: House Of Representatives To Introduce Bill Next Week by Mrchippychappy(m): 3:20pm On Jul 05, 2018
State policing with the directives / orders coming from the State head is the way forward, state policing with orders coming from Abuja is a joke, for this to be implemented properly, the states have to oversee the state police structure, the FG shouldn't have a say in matters of state policing.

The gluttony, racism and entitled behaviour of the USA citizens drove them mad with hate to the point that they voted for an orange skinned, cotton candy haired fool who has now alienated all their allies.

My observation of the subject matter above..

1, The Bambara and Dogon ethnic groups accuse the pastoralists of colluding with jihadists.

2, In my opinion the words of one of the Fulani tribes men, seems to suggest that indeed a large amount of them, albiet not all are Terrorist's..

3, Additional evidence to buttress my previous claims about most being terrorists.

4, Here is the most interesting part for me. . .

Now see this thread, notice the date of the first attack? :
Hmmm, this is expository right here, quite the eye opener, we need more people on Nairaland to see this. The jihadi fulanis were chased out of Mali in January 2013 and according to the timeline here https://www.nairaland.com/4276277/timeline-marauding-herdsmen-attacks-benue a month later, they launched their most brazen attack on Nigerian soil. The timeline fits perfectly, some group or groups of people took it upon themselves to use Nigerian soil as a safe haven for the fulanis and look where we are now.
