Just do a google search for the phone specification. I got one which i believe is the Motorola Moto G5 Plus you are talking of, on gsmarena.

The 4G Bands it uses:

4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 25(1900), 26(850), 38(2600), 41(2500), 66(1700/2100) - XT1687 (USA)
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 19(800), 20(800), 28(700), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - XT1684, XT1685
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 8(900), 40(2300) - XT1686

Hey gurus.
Please I need help with my new phone G5plus which was sent to me from abroad (USA). The name is G5 plus and it runs on android 9. I just feel depressed for over 5days now because I have tried everything possible. The issue is that my phone network is only showing 2g network. I even bought a new 4g Airtel Sim yet is still showing 2g network. But on puting the Sim card on my friends phone it will show 4g network. If I change my preferred network type to 3g/4g the network bars disappear entirely. But changing it to 2g/3g/4g the network appear s back with a 2g network. Please what do I do, I am not really enjoying the phone cause of slow network.
Try to check on your phone if the LTE band for the phone is the same as the LTE band for your sim. I think Airtel uses LTE band 3 (1800).

MTN 4G LTE Bands: supports band 7 (2600MHz) & 20 (800MHz)
Glo 4G LTE Band: supports band 28 (700MHz)
9Mobile 4G LTE Band: supports band 3 (1800MHz)
Airtel 4G LTE Band: supports band 3 (1800MHz)
NTel 4G LTE Bands: supports band 3 (1800MHz) and 8 (900MHz)
SMILE 4G LTE Band: supports band 20 (800MHz)
SPECTRANET 4G Band: supports band 40 (2300MHz)
SWIFT 4G Band: supports band 40 (2300MHz)

Did Buhari mess up with the initial $850 settlement?
There's even a new report by Bloomberg with investigation showing the P&ID company as a Sham.

[b]
Is One of the World’s Biggest Lawsuits Built on a Sham?
A dying Irishman went for one last big score in Nigeria. The project failed, but a London tribunal says his company’s owed $9 billion and counting.

Gaslighting

The oilfield fires of the Niger Delta burn day and night. Metal pipes snake through the swampland, spewing flames so vast they cast the sky in apocalyptic orange. Southern Nigeria sits atop a bubbling stew of oil and gas. Companies want only the former, so they incinerate the latter. The industry calls it “flaring.”

For millions of Nigerians, flaring is a curse. It fills the air with toxic fumes that cause respiratory disease and cancer and later fall as acid rain, which damages homes and crops. It also wastes vast amounts of energy in a region where many villages lack electricity and cities suffer daily blackouts.

In 2008 the Nigerian government said it would end flaring by using oilfield gas to generate electricity. The minister of petroleum resources acknowledged that the challenge would be “enormous.” Converting gas requires it to be captured, transported, refined, and piped back to power plants and onto the grid.

Officials struggled to persuade big multinationals to invest in the required infrastructure, so concessions were granted to 13 smaller companies, some virtually unknown. One was Process and Industrial Developments Ltd., or P&ID, which was registered in the British Virgin Islands but had no website or track record. Its chairman was Michael “Mick” Quinn, a 68-year-old Irishman with a rakish mustache and decades of experience in Nigeria, mostly as a military contractor.

Quinn knew powerful people, including the petroleum minister, who guaranteed P&ID a 20-year supply of “wet,” or unrefined, gas for a plant the company would build. The raw material would be supplied for free, to be treated and returned at no cost. P&ID would instead profit from the byproducts, butane and propane. Everyone stood to benefit, not least the villagers whose homes would be lit by electricity rather than the wan glow of flaming methane.

Then the plan fell apart. The government failed to secure any waste gas from oil companies, let alone link up the necessary pipeline, and the plant was never built. In 2012, P&ID notified the oil ministry that it was suing for breach of contract in a London arbitration forum. After a set of closed legal proceedings, judges awarded P&ID $6.6 billion, one of the biggest amounts a company has won from a sovereign state. When Nigeria dragged its feet on payment, P&ID teamed up with a hedge fund and moved the case to public courts, where it could ask judges to seize state assets, including bank accounts and cargo ships.

In the summer of 2018, a man who’d worked for Quinn contacted Joseph Pizzurro, a veteran New York lawyer hired by Nigeria to lead its defense in the U.S. The caller wanted to talk about the P&ID case. “I don’t think it’s genuine,” the man said, according to an account he gave Bloomberg Businessweek on condition of anonymity because he feared for his safety. He told Pizzurro that Quinn had conspired with officials to profit from government projects that were doomed from the start and that P&ID was one of at least three such lawsuits involving Quinn. The caller couldn’t provide enough evidence to substantiate his claims, though, and he didn’t contact Pizzurro again. ....

Why do you say this. Or you'd prefer Nigeria cough out the money.

Inasmuch as we have some reservations about the present government, I still believe they should find a way out of this mess rather than pay out that huge amount of money to the company for getting nothing out of the initial business proposition.

Family"The Singing Doctor" Who Serenaded Over 8,000 Babies Honored After 40-year Care by mrdan(op): 8:06am On Jul 03, 2019
"Over his 40-year career, Dr. Carey Andrew-Jaja has delivered 8,000 babies and received the special nickname of "The Singing Doctor." That's because he sang to every single one of the babies he delivered — and then some.

Dr. Andrew-Jaja, who worked at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, loves to sing "Happy Birthday" and Louis Armstrong's hit, "What A Wonderful World," to the newborns.

He explained his song choice in a video for UPMC. "To me, it's a wonderful thing in my hand, the miracle of life," he said. "And the rest of is that it's a beautiful world we live in. We forget about all the crisis going on everywhere for a moment when you see that miracle of life in front of you."

Disney responds after dying Marvel fan asks to see ‘Avengers: Endgame’ before release

Make it happen....

Disney has reportedly reached out to a terminally ill fan, after they started a campaign to see Avengers: Endgame before the film is relesed.

The fan, known only as Alexander, went viral after starting a campaign on Reddit called “‘Dying Before April: My Endgame”. Many fans tagged the reddit accounts of directors Joe and Anthony Russo, while others used #Avengers4Alexander on social media.

Alexander, who is thought to be from Australia, explained in his original post: “Liver cancer, mouth cancer, bone marrow failure.

“Will probably be dead before April. I’ve heard of people getting early screenings before. How do I get in on this action?

“I’m not a child or anyone with a particularly tragic story. Just a normal guy. I’m 33, lost my sister three years ago to the same rare genetic disease it turns out I have too. I’ll leave behind a devoted girlfriend and an adopted greyhound.”

The rare genetic disease that he inherited is fancomi anemia – which severely affects the production of bone marrow.

Alexander added: “”Also, because Australia is a small place, turns out I know a guy who knows a guy who is chums with Chris Hemsworth. I think they called him tonight on my behalf.”

Now, he says that Disney has responded, and they’re looking into the various options of how to help him.

“Disney have reached out and we are discussing options. I cried when I read their email. It’s everything I hoped for and I owe it to all of you,” he explained.

But he’s not quite finished yet – his next campaign will be to watch the last Game of Thrones season before it airs.

“I’m gonna seem so greedy,” he joked.

Avengers: Endgame is set for release in April.

Of course since the governor is Edo, you all must find something negative to say.
Even if Obaseki had visited and showed goodwill to an orphanage, because he’s Edo, you all would have been condemning him for not visiting the elderly and be looking for something to say.

Thenextgen:
That's the problem here. why can't the government create a foundation and all. If its like that most people will just sit down lie back and wait to be picked up by this so called foundation. Therefore reiterating what Buhari said about Nigerians being lazy. That disabled dude could have just decided to stay on the streets and wait for a so-called Samaritan to help him. But he didn't... You don't have to wait for the govt before you make the change since they have failed us
The foundation i envisage is the one that would take you to the next level, not for those that don't have anything to use the funds for. The guy is said to be a rapper but won't have gotten any help from most people because of his disability status. i'm sure we have lots of youth that have good and marketable ideas but how do they get help to get to the next step. i think we are lacking that kind of assistance or if there's any its not well known too.

The donations are good. but does it have to end with donating to 1 person there then another person somewhere, why can't they create a foundation or such that would help others rather than just 1 person out of many that need the help.
