Emery is not a coach Na permutations him just dey do. I will keep saying this to anyone who cares to listen. ( call me names idgaf).

Week in week out he comes up with different lineups that are always ridiculous.

Ozil hasn’t kicked a ball this season we’ve seen how well we’ve been playing so far. But but lazy Ozil was the problem.

Whoever doesn’t know that Emery is the common denominator here needs his brain checked.
I like the guy, but sentiments aside; he is slowly killing the team. With our top 4 rivals winning today. The pressure is on him to deliver. Especially after all the money we spent. For his own good, I hope he turns things around.

With another skillful LW like Everton Soares, the game will flow and you'll enjoy games.
Yes. But it's the system I'm talking about. Do you know that an average player will look very good in Pep's system. Or see when Barca kids are playing against other teams. Not that they're exceptional, the system brings the best out of them. However, the revenue is the case for Arsenal. Unai's system seems to limit our players. Maybe it's me being paranoid sha, but that's what I've noticed.

Emery might has well leave next international break, One thing is sure, it'll be a battle for the 4th position..

City,L&pool are clearly ahead of us, Spurs are slightly ahead us, So 3rd/4th is a gon be a hard fight..Don't forget teams like Leicester, Wolves and Norwich don't care who you be or have spent.
Honestly, that nonsense of last season is paining me. We should have been playing today, getting ready for UCL on tue/we'd. Alas, it seems we have not learned anything from last year.

...... Honestly sometimes I can't blame Emery with his weird selections. Our Midfield is too easily bypassed sometimes especially with double pivot in Midfield. He is trying too hard to prevent us from conceding and it's not really working. It's why I believe he plays three midfielders and even at that Tottenham sliced through us easily in the first half. I don't expect Watford to do that but then Doucoure frustrated us last season even when they were ten men down. He owned the Midfield last time we were there but let's see how he structures the Midfield tomorrow.

.... I will really like us to break that new coach - winless run tomorrow. It's very possible and Pepe has to come to the party. The mockery is getting too much.
Bro, this midfield is better than what we had during peak banter era (those days whishere and Ramsey were competing for Miss Injury). Yet, Wenger played some fantastic football with them. Yes, they got found out. But still, the football was good to watch.

Our current Midfielders, however, look clueless anytime they have the ball. It's as if they dont know what else to do other than pass side ways. Why can't we adopt a system that relies on quick exchanges to break down the opposition?

To me, I believe they're doing what the manager instructed. If not, they wouldn't repeat the same thing over and over and over again.

And we all know that stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again, yet expecting a different result.

Well, good luck to all of them. They're all millionaires.

Although football is not played on paper, I feel with the investment we made this summer; anything less than top 4 (I'm being generous, because Spuds are not that better than us) is a massive failure. Also, if we eventually get top 4 and it comes via a bitter struggle, rather than a comfortable end to the season. Then, we should tell Emery Thank you and look for someone else.

Yes, football is not beans. However, Under Emery, we have lowkey spent over 200m. 70m last year and 13m+ this year. Yes, I know we have not paid finish. But, I assume you all know what I mean.

Lampard is building on the foundation Sarri left. Although they're leaking goals. The team plays electrifying attacking football. I'm not saying we should play like them, but at least, entertain your fans. Don't kill us with sideways passing.

Most people would not have realized it yet, but the sam pattern of last season has started again. Four games in, the majority of our goals have come from individual brilliance.

I have no problem with his style of play...

But his team selection and decisions at times is very cowardly...

Sitting back and defending after you are 2 nil up against Madrid when we could easily match them 10v10....

He should be brave if he wants to survive here on the long term...
Selection, decisions, tactics = to style of play to me.

You see Emery adjusting his tactics to face teams like West Ham, Watford, Southampton etc... No disrespect to those teams, but they're nowhere near Arsenal.

All the top teams in the world, have a style of play and they stick with it. 'Smaller teams' adjust to play them, not the other way around.

The only time you'll see a top team adjusting their tactics, is when they're playing another top team or they are chasing a goal. Even some, stick to the same pattern even if your loading them 4-0.

But us, we'll adjust for Plymouth. Adjust for Day & Red... It's very annoying.

I read an article recently that Unai's tactics is confusing the players (Granted, it could be media nonsense). To be honest, I believe there is an element of Truth in it. We lack an identity.

Gone are the days our team is associated with good football. Yes winning is good, but teams that are winning and playing well, they don't have two heads na.

Well, that's just my opinion.

I don't want to come off as that guy, but honestly, I will be really pissed if we struggle against Watford. And FFS, Emery should please choose a playing style and stick to it. I don't know about other people, but it's really tasking watching Arsenal matches now.

Yes, the team is still in transition, but how many years are we going to wait until we see something decent? I'm not ranting, but another lackluster display tommorow won't help us.

I know some people will say it's too early for me to criticize Unai, but how long does the guy need before we start talking? Even if our full team is back, he might still stick with his oversabi tweaking of tactics and no style of play.

For me, his honeymoon period as ended ooo, and if I'm being honest no match this season has impressed me. Granted it's still early; however, they say morning shows our the day will be.

P.s. I hope Nelson steps up. If he doesn't, I don't blame him. At 19, time is on his side. Let's not expect him to turn to Sancho overnight.

Spurs holding city 2ce at the Etihads is the only thing scary about them ATM..

We need to take advantage of utd&Chelsea, Good thing is we always raise our game in north London derby.
They were very, very lucky in that match. Granted they worked hard, but City outclassed them. Lucky doesn't come to the party everyday.

Based on form, we should beat them. However, this is a derby, so form goes out the window. Win or lose today will be determined by Unai's lineup, and if our players turn up.

List of domestic gross adjusted for inflation.

Number 22 and 36 look closely. Add it up with their foreign/international gross.

Spiderman 2002- Adjusted domestic gross $633,006,036 + foreign gross $418,002,176 = $1,051,008,212 or $1.05b

Spiderman 2004- Adjusted domestic gross $543,911,111 + Foreign gross $418,002,176 = $954,091,627

Even spiderman 3 made more money than homecoming, so what exactly has MCU done for Sony undecided undecided
To be honest, all this adjusted for inflation things does not make sense to me. Because, the market of then and now we're totally different. Outside the US and some European countries, who really had any interest in start wars back then? In Africa and some part of Asia, they matched most of the these movies years later.

It could be he's trying a new model,Players not fitting his style, changing methods for diff oppositions..

By the end of his 2nd year, we should be able to draw conclusions now that he has 65% of his players.
You're right about Klopp, but I don't agree with Emery at PSG. Do you know he was forced to play 4-3-3, because they did not want him playing his preferred 4-2-3-1. I really hope we start seeing something like a playing style soon. Like someone said earlier, we can't keep relying on individual brilliance.

Bro, I expect this kind of performance at the Etihads again, The mentality of sitting back is unArsenal truly, but not in this era,That was during the early Wenger days when we had one of the best attacking side in Europe.. City sat back last time at Anfield, it was tactical, individual errors and chance missed cost us..

At the bolded, That's one more area Liverpool edge us, they have established front3 of 3 yrs, we only have RW (Pepe) and CF( Auba/Laca)..

Also Firmino and Mane drops deep and helps defence, Only Laca defends here.

We'll get there hopefully, klopp's project is almost 5yrs, while Emery's still 1 year plus.
During Klopp's first season we could see the style of play he wanted, right? Can we say the same for us? Well, maybe you can see it, but I honestly can't.

This is not an attack. I'm truly curious.

Play like that against Spurs or even Wolves or Leicester and we will lose. This mentality of sitting back is very un-arsenal. How on earth can you allow so much space for the opposing team to play around in the midfield. Credit goes to the attitude Klopp has instilled in the Liverpool players. Whether it be Salah or Mane or Firmino, as much as they have attacking impetus, they also DEFEND from the front and Help their fullbacks. I saw Henderson shouting at Mane when they were 3 nil up to cover Robertson when Pepe wanted to start running at Him. I can't remember how many time Auba or Pepe helped the fullbacks albeit the formation was weird. Willock and Guen were just made to overwork, they had no business protecting the wings when they were assigned a primary role in the midfield. Liverpool just went from coast to coast with ease. I really do not understand what emery is trying to instill here. Even Sarri (former Chelsea coach ) Knew what he wanted and played his style regardless of whatever anyone thought. Playing 4 3 3 one day and 3 5 2 the next and 3 4 3 the next just does not sit well with me. We need an identity in the way we play. heck if we are gonna get beaten with an identity then so be it but at least lets always be compact in our play. If we play like this against even Norwich, they will win. The Premier league is un-forgiving and big teams must always show their dominance. Credit to Crystal Palace on their away performance at United. That was simply brilliant
Thank you.

I'm sorry bro, what? Which game are you talking about? From 1st min until they scored their 3rd goal, Liverpool was in total control (possession, shots, corners, etc). I honestly, don't know what you mean by the bolded.

.... What nonsense display! This was clearly the right approach by Emery but as usual individual mistakes cost us this match. We can fool ourselves all we want but we can't match Liverpool power for power. You have your chance, you score and our attackers failed to do that today. When we both said this last week, some of us thought that because we signed Luiz and Pepe, we can suddenly beat anybody.

.... I don't know why he left Ceballos on the pitch for that long but I think he had Tottenham in mind. Hopefully before we play City, our full backs will be back. Liverpool didn't create so many chances until much later in game but they took their chances. I think Emery did well, just that a few of the players let him down.

.... To get into top four which is the goal, we must beat the small teams and take go out against other teams apart from the top two. We are not at their level yet
So you think we played well? Forget, even of Pepe scored his one one one, Liverpool will still equalize and score 2 or 3 more. How do I know? History tends to repeat itself in this match.

For kickoff until Liverpool were done tormenting them, Arsenal did not look like a team that could do anything.

Or have you forgotten that our so called chances came from individual mistakes from Liverpool players, and not tactics (Andrian panic clearance, Henderson failing to clear the ball).

Well, you have your opinion, and mine is that they played utter nonsense.

..... The usual reactionary actions from the fans as usual. You want to beat Klopp at Anfield? What better teams like Barcelona and Mancity couldn't do. Wenger couldn't even beat this man. We really need to be realistic as fans. It's good to be optimistic but outright delusion shouldn't be curtailed.

..... One match lost. Calm the fvck down.
Only the reincarnation of saint or an utter fool would think we can win at Anfield. However, no arsenal fan wanted to watch the same nonsense again. Did they swear for us? Me that don't have UEFA coaching license, I knew want to and not to do before the game (at least on terms of line up). Emery chose the cowardly route, and his very much to blame, as well as the players. In fact, his tactics made it difficult for the players.

Another thing, remember when we were discussing about Auba? This match just showed the thing I hate most about the guy, he misses too many chances (granted they were half chances).

...... I just watched the training video and honestly it's one of the few serious and intense ones I have watched in recent times. Yes, jokes were thrown in with the usual suspects in Auba but I have realized that's just who he is. The training was like a real match; Mkhi stood out to me, I have always loved the way he runs with the ball and he did that quite well in the video just that his final balls are still lacking at the moment..

.... Beating the press took a lot of the training and to be honest I wasn't impressed. Until we can tell and pinpoint exactly where our players are on the field, a good team will block passing lanes and that will frustrate our efforts. Guendouzi short passing with Chambers was the only attempt at beating the press that was decent. Quick shot passes is still the way out rather than trying to pull pressers to oneself and beating them with individual skills. Not everyone is Ceballos and even he losses the ball at times. We will get there with more practice but if we are going to do the passing from the back today, we have to be quick with the passing, no time to think too much. Whoever starts at the base of Midfield should be careful and lightning quick in thoughts.

..... Saka needs to build up though, the ease with which Papa brushed him off to score wasn't nice at all. Papa's cutback was sweet though and his goal even sweeter grin. Saka made up for it with a good goal though.

.... I love Torreira's body checking of Willock, and Pepe's typical nutmeg, Nelson was the casualty this time. Both scenes made me laugh.

.... All in all, good training with an intent for something, which is today's match. I didn't see Lacazette, Ozil and Xhaka though but I saw Elneny. Laca will be useful today, I hope he is fine.
Link to the training session please. Thank you.
