There is no point arguing. United signed Sanchez because he wanted more money. Meanwhile, Fred came after City lost interest and did not want to pay more than his 'value'.

With United's money, it is not impossible to sign him. But with the current state of the clubs, nobody will choose United and reject Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Unless, they are British, or like you said "they want to play in the EPL."

Well, that's how I see it.

In the only competition they play together, Bayern Munich has won it more than United. The 'bigger' I'm using here is based on the clubs current and past glory. The only thing United have over Bayern is Money (lots of it), apart from that, nothing else.

We a talking about two hours big clubs with history and present form competing against United. Who is also a big club with history, but the current state of the club is not comparable to its past.

Asides wealth, what does United have more than Bayern Munich and Barcelona? Champions League Trophies? League Trophies? Cup Trophies? I don't think I've to mention that when comparing teams across Europe, Champions League is the main criteria used. So, United is not bigger than those clubs. Are they wealthier? Yes. But, not bigger.

Since I'm not God or De Ligt, I can't predict what will happen. That's Life. But, the probability he'll choose United over those clubs is like 5%-10%.

Yeah a lot of considerations factor in modern day transfer market, but 8/10; most players will choose a 'bigger club' than a better salary. Especially if they are still young. E.g. De Jong choosing Barca over PSG. Even when it was reported PSG offered him a higher salary.



The reason I called United - Maga United, is because of how most clubs take advantage of your status as one of the richest clubs on the planet.

As for de Ligt, I doubt if Barca would go above 50mil for a defender and we're only competing with Barca for his signing. Moreover, it was rumoured from his camp that he would prefer the EPL. We just have to sweet talk him and maybe having De Beek would do the magic. At most, I think he would go for 60mil.

Felix will be a massive gamble, and forget about beating the price down. Benfica will like same amount of money Sancho will generate for Dortmund if sold (welcome to 2019 transfer market). De Ligt won't come to United, especially when other bigger clubs have an interest in him.

P.s. I think you're overestimating United's ability to negotiate. Except things have changed behind the scenes, most clubs still consider United as 'Better Maga'.

If I were him, I would bring in de Ligt (50 mil), Van De Beek (20 mil), João Felix (60 mil), Ounas (20 mil) and Maddison (50 mil) if pogba leaves for Madrid. We would still need a right fullback. I'm counting on one of our kids. If Bisaaka could make the grade at crystal palace, I don't see why one of our kids can't. We would find out during preseason.

Disney just dropped a lot of information on their new streaming platform (Disney +). Apparently, it has at least three new shows involving the current MCU cast.

Falcon and the winter soldier are teaming up together, Wanda and the Vision, too. Lastly, Loki is getting is own series, too.

I won't be surprised if the characters taken from fox will make their debuts there... Exciting times ahead.

P.s. the shows involving characters from the MCU will reportedly have budgets on par with some movies... So, expect it's quality to be top notch.

Check the Arsenal team of those years, and tell if we really had a solid team. Also, Liverpool is considered among the traditional Top 4, but they dropped before us. Same with United and Chelsea. The reason they dropped does not matter. As much as he helped us, we can as well say Wenger is the reason for our current predicament.

Bro, you do realize that Liverpool, United, Chelsea (although they won it that year) failed to qualify via the league before Arsenal. Last two years was when out slump started. In that same period, spurs were in and out of the UCL.

It's because he are taking a retrospective look at it, back then top 4 was not "guaranteed" for Arsenal. We had to fight for it. Most times until the last few games of the season.
