There is practically nothing on ground in Nigeria to attract the dollar. Naija brands are sponsoring foreign clubs.

And we are growing the NAIRA!

Nigeria, being the 5th largest consumer of Japanese products in the world, do not have an Assembly Plant for Toyota.
We do not have assembly plants for Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Honda, etc.
Despite the fast growth of broadcasting & ICT in Nigeria, we do not have assembly plants for any of the producers of all electronic appliances such as Samsung, Sony, Nokia, HP, Techno, etc.
Major software development contracts are warehoused from offshore.
Corporate Executives & politicians give more preference to foreign trainings, foreign medical services, foreign food items & foreign dresses.
With the growth in aviation, aircraft maintenance are done offshore.
Most fishing companies have been taken over by the Indian.
Chinese n Indians are leading farmers with GMO n biotechnology across d country while Nigerians are busy selling land.
Whom will u blame if foreigners are now the land owners after all you can't eat your cake n have it.

I fully understand you. My mum is worse. Most melchlor women have dat psychic issue. You're even lucky to have siblings and a father figure. I'm d only child of a single mum who's difficult to live with with a terrible countenance and temperament..always nagging. Yet she goes to church than anyone.

Some elders told me they wanted to take me away from her while I was a kid so I won't be affected but taking an only child from such a woman isn't child's play. They left me to grow up with it. I just pity the indigenes of cross rivers. This is an accrued debt that will affect future generation. Lagos budget is not even up to this.

So they intend cutting out of the 3lane one-way lane to a 2 lane to accommodate BRT? Do they realise how busy this road is?what if a trailer or a car spoils. We don't have strategists in govt.it is just to do contracts and collect kick-backs

Personally, I kissed the okada riders as they have their other good side too, I remembered taking okada from CMS to Mile 2 and we got there in less then 40mins, those days you take Okada from VI to Lekki without fear of traffic, aboki riders seem to be my best cos you can always bring down your price with them and they can drive rough

Bros leave this matter. Businesses in Nigeria fail because of the shiithole environment that exist in the shiithole country.
Here are d following reasons businesses fail:

1.Poor infrastructure:
Lack if critical infrastructure has made running business a daily nightmare. For example, how wud d fishseller, patent medicine sellers who needs light to preserve delicate medicines at low temperature or business person who deals on perishable items not experience losses that wud wreck business. Alternatives to power are expensive increasing costs of products, reducing it affordability and eventual sales. Use of generators have negative environmental inpact in terms of air pollution and noise.
Bad roads which increases time for the movement of goods and labour frim a point to another knowing fully well time na money. Vehicles breakdown on bad road which results in costly but avoidable breakdown.
Water they say has no enemy. Many parts in the shiithole Nigeria ve nwver experienced water supply from d govt which is critical to every business.
Therefore, these and many more creates a harsh environment inimical to growth of any business.

2. Multiple taxation
We all know as disorganized as other facets of the Nigerian society is d tax system. If u are shop owner or small business owner you would understand hiw some idiots would come often to forcefully extort money for reasons that leaves u dumbfounded. The mist annoying thing is that the individuals used to collect these taxes are thugs who are not fit to do such apart from using violwnce and intimidation of business owners to reap them off their hard earned sweat. These monies end up in the pockets of these fruadulent tax collectors and the other part remitted to govt is embezzled.

3. Poverty:
When u have a larger percentage of people who are poor and do not have the strong purchasing power then u re bound to have low patronage or at best forced to give out on credit some of which may never be paid cos the means is not there.
Until wealth is evenly spread to all so all can have mobey in their pockets to spend if u like be a Harvard business trained graduate, tou would fail.

My advice to Nigerians, the national aseembly both the senate in particular and the house of assembly are the destroyer of this nation for failing to enact laws to guarantee good governance and effective, transparent tax laws and they are milking this nation by taking billions each year for fraudulent constituency projects which is never executed. Remember 25% of our budget is spent on these bastards. Only we forget easily former CBN Governor Lamido Sanusi proved it when he was summoned by last national assembly. This increases cost of governance whoch should have been channeled into capital projects to develop our infrastructure. The legislature have no business financing projects. Even each of the 36 states all have their state houses of assembly which all constitutes a hugh drain on our budget.
Nigerians wake up, even if all collect PVC to change a new set of leaders nothing would change as long as we do same thing over and over we get same not different result.

Yes bro, I understand the concept of the kiosks around just that they should be able to provide an alternative, imagine someone standing for close to an hour on an empty stomach, some are coming from work and are very hungry, an alternative ought to be put in place for these ones and also make some money for them as well.

Mine is a 2.5ltr 6 cylinder engine and it goes for 120k. But the seller has agreed to buy my bad engine for 20k, this means, I'll only pay him 100k for the engine.
While, the small engine of 1.8ltr, which is a 4 cylinder engine goes for 100k.
