I still don't understand Lampard's tactics, which one passing at the back line whereas there is no opening from the midfield or front line... Abraham is a fluke, just falling and holding his head is all he knows. I'd prefer Batshuayi to him since he has more work rate. Lampard is a bad coach even with better players he will still flop. |
Papiikush:In the spirit of Christmas, I will tell you that your stupidity is extraordinary. ![]() |
Watchmen is "over the moon"... best series ATM for me (my opinion) |
I won't want to go the route of who is at fault or not... From your story, I can deduce a little part of who you are or why it was easy for him to have gotten you that deep into what you are suffering now, but that aside. If you give someone a knife and he stabs you with it, you don't go around asking if you did wrong in giving the knife to him at the first instance, you simply treat yourself first, then the question comes later. Going by that what is important is moving forward, one of the problem you may be facing is "how can you start all over after your friends must have known of your abroad lifestyle?" Focus on your Kids, your future, the shame of your new found situation will be less compared to what it will be if your shame prevents you from doing the needful. what are the needful; If you have a hen at hand, do you kill it for now, you rear it for eggs or you throw it in hope of getting a goat? You have a fashion shop, improve on it, business might be hard, look for how you can better it, if it is those local tailor shop, add provision selling to it. improve your finances. What did you study, submit your CV to companies that will pay higher than your projected earning per month in your tailoring shop. At night, go online and get relevant training or better still if you can write, look for writing Jobs online, my friend yet to get a job does this and his earning per month is averagely 35k, stressful though. Go on LinkedIn find Jobs there, be serious with it. on the children, if it were in Lagos, they have schools that are of good quality and less expensive enrol them there, enrol your child to a public school in Lagos if the child is of secondary school age, their public secondary school in Lagos state is standard. Your husband will come back when he will but waiting for him to come back without moving forward will be detrimental to both you and the children |
Who else found that voice funny and also "cringe-inducing" ... My Owerri sister "lol"... I love to love jare. |
mekaprime:yes.. I saw it but what I meant was the subtitle, tried downloading subtitle though it was in zip file after changing to .SRT as instructed from google it still doesn't work. PS: using VLC |
mekaprime:How do one get the subtitled one because the one I downloaded was not Chinese |
King of boys was average... I won't want to watch that movie again, 73 is the best movie I have watched from nollywood... someone was calling mokalik... that movies is a borefest combined with it mediocrity. Lionheart did okay, I will say Genevieve is doing well for herself ... internationally she is above any Nigerian actor for now whether she writes a good movie or not. |
Mercymustwin:Exactly what I said but you went too far trying to convince yourself of that "audio money" your lineage can't have. Why are you so bent on telling me your life story, now I know... your father is a fool, you wished your father had used condom on your prostitute mother... what else do you need to tell me about your family?... I am a good listener... Pour out your heart "oh child of a senseless father". |
Mercymustwin:Sorry, to burst your bubble... I am no where near your lineage... it is obvious the dominant trait in your family is "dumbness". It is a good thing to be proud of your stupidity but please don't shove it into our space. |
Mercymustwin:someone was telling you if you must hype... do it with your sense. lemme ask you one quick question... DO YOU KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE SENSE? |
very funny alot of people if not all didn't read the piece... just saw the title and commented... He didn't mean he had a dream in the real sense but something he hoped will happen. I too wish all youths can see the possibility of a better Nigeria with "Vision leaders", and it starts with putting action to concepts such as this |
What we can learn from Linda's pregnancy saga; Gather round students of left economics. Let’s use a good example in the Linda Ikeji saga to help you understand what rentier & crony capitalism is all about. According to Linda, her Baby Father was living in a rented 3-bedroom apartment in an obscure area in Lekki where she has to drive 2 hours from Banana Island any day konji calls just to get the D. Ok, now this was in 2014, in a Nigeria led by a very “corrupt” PDP government who if you believe these Saints stole everything there was to steal. Great. We lose the elections and the Saints take over with a Promise to “fight corruption” and turn things around. Now, Linda tells us that when she finally reconnected with the said Sholaye Jeremi, in 2017, and they resumed their “Kerewa”, the Sholaye was bragging that he was going to inject some “billionaire” spermatozoids into Linda to Make a “billionaire baby”. So, under three years, Sholaye moved from being a man who was donating ‘tozoids’ to Linda from a three bedroom apartment to a billionaire playing in the Oil and gas sector in Nigeria. I did some snooping around and found out that Sholaye is buddies With, wait for it, our Junior Petroleum Minister, St. Ibe Kachikwu.Fantastic. Now a billionaire, dude is no longer on same level with Linda.Come on, oil money and money from Internet “olofofo” or blogging are not on the same level. So,he Japas leaving Linda with a bundle of joy. How you move from a rented shack to a billionaire in 3 years, without selling anything, without developing a ground breaking e-solution soft or hardware, without robbing a bank, not winning any lotteries, with no family members dying to leave you their wealth but by simply Being buddies with someone who knows someone who controls the pie is what crony and rentier capitalism is all about. copied from twitter. |
The funny thing about being liberal is you stop bring one when your opinion is dismissed as wrong. A drug and gang promoting artist telling a bleaching cream promoting business that her business is bad for the society. |
AryEmber:okay. |
AryEmber:Why should drinking be bad? Jesus turned water into wine and wine then is alcoholic. so what makes drinking bad? |
AryEmber:does going to a bar makes one "a bad person?" if you don't see drinking as bad, how does it make a person doing same in a club bad? BTW, what activity actually makes the club a bad place? |
I never wanted to partake in this thread because it is a baseless one but saying thrash about AAU because you feel you have an obligation to defend a university that is getting bad by the year is "foolishness" Uniben's exam from people who had written one compared to AAU is like they said "too cheap". "few lecturers" in AAU due to corrupt practices as seen in other universities in Nigeria tend to make " AAU's exams" difficult by using impossible marking schemes that even a very brilliant student would find it difficult to pass convincingly. That is why it is easier for a brilliant AAU student to do really well in an external exam, law school as an instance. BTW, the thread is a stupid one. education has gone beyond school walls now and success isn't by university name. |
no picture of the queue yet we must believe right? well for those that believe this junk called news, you should know that Buhari is with me here with bundle of dollars to buy my vote. nonsense. |
A lot of people actually missed "verbal reasoning" or where bad at it while in school. From the writeup even though it may be a one-sided story "it sums up wizkid as being begged to be a father to tife, no father will want to associate the child to bad influences if they care at first for him. women, weedcrusher, not to talk of things we don't know like BJ given to the child." The meet up was probably as a result of Jada_p requesting it. |
CoolAmbience:When you don't have any other thing to say... Yours is "extremely irredeemable". |
CoolAmbience:People eat food of #100 naira. running behind ambiguity to make a false claim. I asked a question where can you buy food for #50 naira. b sensible enough to make rational claim and not show how shallow your thinking faculty is. If I am to feed millions, does that take away the fact that I can't get the materials for the amount I am given to make it? It is not charity. You should have someone to explain better to you since it is obvious you lack comprehensive ability. |
justtoodark:how much are the farmers willing to pay workers? a paltry sum for clearing a whole farmland that won't be enough to treat them when they fall sick from such hard work |
justtoodark:On what Land if I may ask?... where can one store there produce against rot? ... how can they access machinery for such large scale farming?... like I said, questions need to be asked |
CoolAmbience:sorry, I think you don't understand what you wrote yourself. where can one feed with #50 naira? the scheme, inasmuch as it may have some good intention is not feasible. they weren't forced into the scheme so what is worth doing is worth doing well. PS: I can read and comprehend very well but yours may be in doubt |
justtoodark:People in such business, how well are they today?... have not seen a plumber send their children to a private university or have I seen a farmer who doesn't have to break his back because he can access funds to go into mechanized farming. People will go into those Job if they are can become better financially doing them. |
justtoodark:it is good idea until you think about how one will achieve such, how can one cut down the cost of government when it is the government itself that can do it? You and I know they won't |
It would have been better the money was used for something meaningful since the idea of feeding school children is becoming a farfetched job. "where in this country can #50 feed a person" don't be irrational or sentimental. it is emotions as these that got us where we are as a nation today. |
CoolAmbience:name such places where food can be bought for N50 |
when gravelwhatever has nothing to say in defence he resorts to insults. |
A lot of people comment with dislike for Catholics and not because they had an encounter to justify such but because they had been doctrine by others to do so. little wonder they are easily convinced their aged mom is the reason for their sufferings Never has the Catholic condemned king James version of the Bible, but then how will you know, when you have hearsay experience about the "complete version of the Catholic bible" without research as to how the Bible(collection of books) came about |
Smell out biko.
