autoez: Every political challenge for Obi ends up in court. The same judiciary he regularly attacks is the one he keeps turning to whenever he wants to make a point. You can't call a system broken and still depend on it for every battle. Nigerians are watching, and the contradiction is obvious. What else do you expect him to do in such situations where he was clearly defamed go violent on kenneth? |

I knew something like this will definitely happen the way that loud mouth without brains was attacking obi at every media session. I don't even think he is worth #5b after all his years in nollywood. |

Day169: It's sad to read this, coming from one who eulogised his principal only a short while ago. It also tells me that all politicians are the same who care about themselves only and the people are just pawns on their chessboard! Most of them are totally empty upstairs that's why they fall back on religious and ethnic bigotry during every election season i wonder how long they will continue with this shameful path. |

Ibrahimcoomasie: Come and tell us that in the North. When it comes to demolishing places of worship the core north holds the ultimate crown for that, churches that has been demolished by northern governors in the core north is uncountable so pls don't even go there. We all know where all these is coming from, we all know even if northern respected igbo politicians like orji kalu and rochas come out now to contest for president u people will still find reasons why u people can't vote for them. The earlier u all start seeing seeing south east politicians and also other southern politicians as equals to ur northern politicians the earlier nigeria will start seeing real unity and development. |

So this guy doesn't even have any other thing to use to market himself only just about obi everytime he is in the media space? Even if obi actually demolished mosques during his tenure it might be for genuine reasons which might be that the mosque was built in unapproved areas i don't think obi will just go and demolish a well built mosque in an approved area. We have also seen wike demolish a mosque in port harcourt that was built in an unauthorised area during his time in office we have also seen the lagos state govt demolishing mosques in lagos including demolishing a popular hausa market in lagos will u now use that to play dirty politics? |

Cherrybae: 2027 will tell Peter Obi that he is a paper weight.
Obi was so fortunate to secure sympathy and protest votes in 2023 and this makes him think he is popular.
Time will tell Nothing like any sympathy votes the apc govt has been a complete disaster since capturing power and most nigerians saw obi as a better alternative but the powers that be don't seem to like obi and where he comes from in a sane country obi would definitely have become president. |

Politics › Re: Obi Told Me He’s More Popular Than Atiku - Dele Momodu by Mrexcell(m): 3:56pm On Jun 09 |
richmond500: He is very popular and enjoys media/youth support.
The problem is his inability to form a coalition or share the pains of his supporters will be his biggest undoing. He better win this election cos some of his supporters who were disenfranchised in NDC and he asked them to accept the outcome will dump him after 2027.
Sometimes I wonder if himself and Kwankwasor are working for Tinubu relection by fragmenting the opposition So u think southern voters will forgive obi if he went to vice atiku when the south is yet to exhaust their 8yrs? Obi is a very wise man he knows exactly what he is doing. |

The well coordinated media attacks on Obi's personality is really becoming something else it seems the apc has even tonned down their attacks a bit since obi left the adc majority of the media attacks is now coming from disgruntled adc members. |

ShenTeh: This is the joke of the century.
Little less known Labour party was boosted by the presence of Obi and his unsolicited Obedients who catapulted it to an all-time high, ensuring even unknown bike rider winning a federal election.
Even all the votes that the LP had garnered in all of its life time cannot match the numbers it polled at the last elections despite the brazen daylight rigging.
Oga Abure, abeg shift. Until lp can repeat that 2023 feat with another presidential candidate abure's allegations against obi and his obidient movement will absolutely mean nothing. |

brain54: This one wey this man dey repeat this same thing like a broken record...
He said the same thing specifically about yemi osibanjo.
So someone can't be nice and be a leader? Even when taking those tough decisions you can do it in a humane way that even the followers will understand. You can take tough decisions and cushion the effects for the people.
Person wey wicked don wicked and will always look for excuse to be wicked.
As you no be ice cream seller na Dracula you come be! He is talking as a northern nigerian politician where such is the basic requirements for leadership but that's definitely not what's the standard in southern nigeria and other sane civilised countries where a man like him that has once been accused of having links with islamic terrorists will ever be allowed to rise to the position he currently occupies. |

yarimo: so when he was claiming labour party leader, was he the one that found labour party? Different scenarios, u can't compare a labour party of 2023 without any strong political figure to this ndc with a serving senator and also a former governor as it's founder any reasonable politician must give dickson that due respect to avoid any form of confusion or crises. |
Politics › Re: Dickson's Opposition Legacy And The Institutional Genesis Of NDC - Asemota by Mrexcell(m): 6:23pm On Jun 08 |
badoh: Obi is too soft to rule a complex Nation as Nigeria. Being humble does not necessarily translate to a leader that is decisive, strong and transformational. Nigeria needs someone with a iron hand but at the same time brutal to reset the institutional decay. Many Nigerians are used to the old system such that if things are to be done the way it is done in advanced countries like UK, many Nigerians will find themselves in jail especially lecturers that sleeps with students, guys that sexually assault young girls, people that violate traffic rules, medical practitioners involved in medical negligence, people that taps electricity illegally and a lot of other illegal things that people do in Nigeria. As you are reading this, search yourself if you don't fall into one out of these categories, so when I see people blaming the government, I also ask if they are also not part of the rot in the system. That's why nigerians voted for buhari who they felt was more brutal to deal with insecurity and corruption but ended up a calamity even the more softer gej was far better than him in governance. |
