News Source ; http://www.praizenews.com/man-raped-by-three-ladies-in-the-university-reveals-how-traumatized-it-left-him/ It's very possible most times it's normally small boys that are always the victims. But did the girls point guns on him before he was overpowered and raped or he is just a very weak man I don't understand how a fully grown man in yr 2 in a university can easily allowed himself to be raped by 3 girls just like that without any form of resistance. |

Ctorch: All Igbo primary school children should study Hausa,Yoruba language, says Bode George
Bode George, former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has said that all Igbo primary school children should study Hausa,Yoruba language. Bode George made this known in an interview on the Sun,saying: ‘to promote unity in Nigeria, I have suggested that all Igbo primary school children should study Hausa and Yoruba language, while all the Hausa primary school children should study Yoruba and Igbo, while all Yoruba primary school children should study Igbo and Hausa.
Once you speak unifying language, it breaks barriers, it opens doors and also promotes unity.
Why can’t we do this? He also said that that the PDP should go back to the drawing board and plan for 2023 and that the current managers of PDP should call an emergency meeting more so that the party can do a thorough X-ray of where we are as a party, how they can strengthen this party, because PDP was formed by unique personalities.
Read below the part of the interview Nigeria cannot solve any of its present problems without return to regional government – Odumakin Bode George said
They are telling us that all is well, but in truth, is that in reality? situation in the country today is harsh and tough.
Nigerians are passing through difficult times. But my advice is that my party, PDP should go back to the drawing board and plan for 2023. We should not be downcast and say all is lost. When you fall as a soldier, you take up the gauntlet and move on.
There is no perpetuity of anything in life. As for the president travelling and travelling, well, he has a choice, we can’t stop him.
There is nowhere in the constitution where it is stated that he can’t travel. But if Rome is burning, the emperor cannot go away. Nigeria has been classified as the poverty capital of the world, that’s very disheartening. But my prayer is that it shall be well with our nation.
I want to plead that the issue of tribal division, religious divide, we should throw them away. The gulf among us in this country today is getting wider and wider. That’s why I say that there is the need for the current managers of PDP to call an emergency meeting more so that the Supreme Court has given the final verdict.
Let’s do a thorough X-ray of where we are as a party, how can we strengthen this party, because PDP was formed by unique personalities, PDP was formed by political icons of this country including late Chief Solomon Lar, Mallam Adamu Ciroma, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, Sir Alex Ekwueme, Chief Bola Ige and a host of eminent others.
We can disagree without being disagreeable. But we don’t have to be abusive and bring tribal sentiments into politics, such things don’t help. Giving conditions that if this tribe or that tribe wants to be president, this is what they should do, that should not be the language we should be using.
I have friends all over the country, and my best friend is a Fulani. He is a Muslim, and I’m a Christian but we bond together very well.
We should promote things that will unite us. To promote unity in Nigeria, I have suggested that all Igbo primary school children should study Hausa and Yoruba language, while all the Hausa primary school children should study Yoruba and Igbo, while all Yoruba primary school children should study Igbo and Hausa. Once you speak unifying language, it breaks barriers, it opens doors and also promotes unity.
Why can’t we do this? Yes, Nigeria is not a natural country but yet we have been living together. I want to appeal that we should be promoting things that will unite us rather than dividing us. What is power? Have you seen anybody that has held power in perpetuity? Where are the leaders of yesterday? Where are they now? Where are the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe and other leaders, they’ve played their own roles and are gone. We will also play our roles and go.
It is the beauty of your contributions towards the upliftment of your people and country that will be the memories people will have about you.
In Lagos State, they’ve legalized stealing. Look at the Alpha Beta thing, look at what they are doing with Alpha Beta. It is the only company that collects all the taxation and internally generated revenues on behalf of Lagos State government, this never happened in any civilised society.
Lagos grosses between 30 to 40 billion naira as IGR every month, look at the interests that will accrue on that money, and an individual gets 15 percent of that money.
But look at the derelict in Lagos with all the money. What is all these? But these people lording it over all Lagos, and ruining the place should remember that there will be a day after. Certainly there will be a day of reckoning. A day of reckoning is coming.
They said I shout too much about how Lagos State is being brazenly looted and raped, and to keep me shut in their desperate conspiracy, they sent me to jail.
But this man playing God in Lagos State, Tinubu is not God. What does he think he is doing? And some mentally sick people will come out and say that he is bigger than Awolowo, he is bigger than M.K.O. Abiola. And that he is also bigger than former President Olusegun Obasanjo, are these people sick? The record of Baba Obafemi Awolowo till today in the Western Region is unequalled.
Go and read Papa Awolowo’s books, his books on methodology of management, go and read all his books. He ruled Lagos for eight years, but has he still let go? He has become emperor in Lagos.
Some people in their ignorance will even say Tinubu is in control, in control of what? Let us make sure that the electoral process is not a sham, then you will see how people are angry with their votes.
That’s the only power people have. We should allow the will of the people to prevail. If the will of people is allowed to prevail, he will not be sitting down there taking people’s money. Calculate from 1999 till today, 20 years how they have been raping Lagos.
Look at that statement made by one of the former directors of Alpha Beta that they are owing him 45 billion naira, an individual saying they are owing him 45 billion naira in my own state, Lagos State, and this money is supposed to be Lagos State’s money that the man is now claiming they are owing him. Lagos State today is flat broke. The debt portfolio of Lagos State is unimaginable.
Who will pay for it? Our children, our grandchildren? They have impoverished Lagos State. Now he is saying he wants to be president, let him go there, and see what will happen.
Some of his followers are also saying that he is the only one that can do it, some even promised to deliver 20 million votes for him. What a deception.
They are just pushing him. He should return all Lagos money. I’m even told that he is now planning to make his son the governor of Lagos State. What an insult! We don’t do dirty fights in Lagos, but Tinubu should remember that certainly a day of reckoning is surely coming.
Tinubu has over dazed us to stupor. When I see some of our friends now complaining about Tinubu, I tell them why are you complaining now. I said a long time ago that Tinubu should be checkmated.
Let us make sure that the electoral process is modern so that the will of the people can prevail. It is only when the will of people prevail that Tinubu can be checkmated. We are not in the stone age, we should reform and modernize our electoral process. We must make sure we leave a positive legacy for the future generation to emulate, and keep on building Yoruba race and this nation in a positive manner. The reverse is unthinkable.

Politics › Re: $1.7M Found In Abdulrasheed Maina's Niger Repulblic Home, EFCC And NIA Called by Mrexcell(m): 8:47am On Oct 13, 2019 |
stickle: NIGERIA’S northern neighbour, Niger Republic, has blown the lid off $1.7m cash found in an apartment in its capital Niamey.
The Nigerien authorities tipped off Abuja about the cash found in the apartment believed to be owned by a former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
At N359 to $1, the 41.7m is about N610.3m.
There is suspicion that the cash is part of the money allegedly stolen by Maina who is currently in security custody following his arrest recently by the Department of Security Services (DSS) in an Abuja hotel along with his son, Faisal.
He had allegedly sneaked into the country from Dubai apparently to avoid arrest.
Maina is under investigation for alleged mismanagement of over N24billion pension funds while in office.
Twenty-nine assets worth N1billion also suspected to be owned by him have already been seized.
The Nation gathered authoritatively that the security agencies may also probe Maina on why one of his nephews, Sadiq Abdullahi Ismaila, was almost tortured to death over how $1.7million got missing from a safe house.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is on the trail of Sadiq Abdullahi Ismaila, who released a video clip detailing his alleged travail over the missing cash.
Sources said relatives are mounting pressure on Sadiq to go underground to save Maina.
Investigation by our correspondent revealed that about $1.7million cash belonging to a Nigerian was traced found in an apartment in Niamey by security agents.
The Nigerien Government alerted Nigeria’s Federal Government of the strange discovery of the cash, following which Abuja directed the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) to investigate.
Preliminary investigation by the NIA and the EFCC suggests that Maina knows about it because the apartment in question used to serve as one of his hideouts in Niger Republic.
The discovery of the cash in Niamey coincided with the alleged disappearance of $1.7million cash from Maina’s safe house.
Investigators suspect that the pain of losing the $1.7million may have forced Maina to sneak into the country to look for the cash before the law caught up with him.
An authoritative source said: “The $1.7m was stashed in an apartment in Niger Republic which was being occupied by a Nigerian.
“So far, a trail of the cash by security agencies has linked Maina to the cash because the apartment was alleged to be his hideout.
“Detectives are working round the clock to uncover where the suspected pension cash was sourced and how it was ferried to Niger Republic.
“One of the clues being probed was the allegation that Faisal Maina (the son of the ex-pension reform task force chairman) moved the cash from Nigeria to the Republic of Niger.”
Responding to a question, the source added: “Investigators have also discovered that Maina allegedly influenced the arrest and torture of one of his nephews, Sadiq Abdullahi Ismaila over a missing $1.7m.
“Sadiq , who later released a video clip on his ordeal, asked Maina to turn his searchlight on his son, Faisal and wife.”
In the clip, which was exclusively obtained by THE NATION, Sadiq said: “I am a nephew to the ex-pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina. Well, a lot has been happening lately. For those of you that know me very well, a lot has been happening. I know some of you know everything that has been going on and I haven’t come out to say a word about it yet.

“Well, I was abducted by Abdulrasheed Maina (my uncle) for three days and I was tortured for something I didn’t do. He accused me of taking $1.7million of his which his son took from his house. His son and his wife too,
“I have been paying for $1.7million that is not with me. The funny thing is that this man has been sending people after me, my family and friends. And for me, I don’t really care because I have seen it all. There is nothing more he can do to me because I have already endured three good days of torture from somebody I look up to.
“He is somebody I point out to be a father figure to me; somebody who is the immediate brother to my mum. Let me make this video short. Abdulrasheed Maina, if you think your money is with me, I told you, go and meet your wife and your son.
“The $1.7million, you said you got it while you were washing toilets. I don’t know where they pay in dollars for washing toilets. I don’t know where you got the money from.
“But I know for sure the way you launder money and you know I know that. That is why you wanted me dead. I just survived because it was not my time when you asked those hoodlums, claiming to be DSS operatives to torture me for good three days. I almost died but it was not my time.
“For you now to be sending people because I have been quiet about it. I have been quiet about it because your mum (our grandmother) begged me to keep the issue as a family issue.”
Already, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced additional 29 assets in the country, worth N1, 054,000, 000 to Maina.
Some foreign assets have been located in the United Arab Emirates and other jurisdictions.
The anti-graft commission has filed an application before a High Court to place all the 29 assets under forfeiture.
The agency wants to invoke Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) to seize Maina’s choice properties in the UAE and other countries.
Other items retrieved from Maina and his son, Faisal, include 31 SIM Cards of UAE, MTN, 9Mobile and Airtel; 19 handsets; one iPad and two laptops; 13 flash drives and Kentucky US ID card; UAE Certificate of Naturalization; and UAE ID card.
On December 9, 2017, the EFCC Acting Chairman Mr. Ibrahim Magu said seven properties had been seized from Maina.

The National Chairman of Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Sale Bayari, has slammed Benue State for being a bad 'brother' and 'neighbour' to Fulani herdsmen while commending Oyo State people for accommodating them.
Bayari stated this during a public presentation of views, observation of the proposed grazing regulations bill 2019 by the Oyo State House of Assembly. The presentation was held at the house of chiefs, Agodi, Ibadan.
Bayari said, “From our calculations, one cow will eat grass, drink water, drugs and other maintenance costs to the tune of N1,500 a day.
“Despite Benue state being a northern state, it has been a very bad brother and neighbour of the Fulani herdsmen.
“Ironically, it is Oyo state among Yoruba states that have been and remained our home truly as Nigerians due to the wonderful warm and receptive nature of the great descendants of Oduduwa that the Fulani herdsmen have come to see and accept as their beloved great grandfather too due to their accommodating spirit, nature and character of the people of the Southwest.
“We shall continue to be law-abiding citizens of this state and here undertake to ensure that we fish out all the bad elements among us that are distorting the peace and tranquillity of Oyo state.”
The parliament had proposed the bill as a way of finding a lasting solution to violent clashes between farmers and herders in the state.
The speaker of the house, Adebo Ogundoyin, noted: “There is a need for us to continue to live in peace and harmony, Fulani and the farmers have been living together for a long time ago and nobody ousted his or her boundary or herders grazing their cattle in a way that will destroy farm input."

Politics › Re: Junaid: North Will Remove Any President Who Attempts To Implement 2014 Confab by Mrexcell(m): 7:16am On Oct 10, 2019 |
nairavsdollars: Junaid Mohammed, elder statesman and Second Republic federal lawmaker was a delegate to the 2014 National Conference convened by the Goodluck Jonathan administration. In This interview with TEMIDAYO AKINSUYI, he spoke on why the recommendations of the conference can’t be implemented and other issues. Excerpts:
insecurity in their states, some governors have been negotiating with bandits and in some cases, giving them money. Do you think this is a right approach?
It is not. I believe it is a very dangerous trend. It shows that the governors are not sincere and they have underfinanced the security system even though they make billions of naira in the name of maintaining security. Essentially, they have been stealing the money which was earmarked for security. So, I don’t accept the idea of negotiating with bandits. It is a bad idea and I believe instead of paying off the bandits, they can finance the police and assist the DSS and other security organisations. It shows what will happen in the state if governors are allowed to set up their private policemen. It is going to be disastrous and make Nigeria ungovernable.
Some Nigerians are calling for the implementation of the 2014 national conference as a way of addressing some of the challenges facing the country. What is your take on this?
Those saying that, have they read the report? Has anyone of us who attended the conference told Nigerians what aspect we want to be implemented? I was at the 2014 national conference. I represented Kano state which is one of the two biggest states in the country. I had been involved in several conferences in the past and even after the 2014 conference, we also had another one here in Kano concerning the state. As far as I am concerned, that 2014 confab is a fraud. What they are purporting to be the report is a fraud. Most of the issues that we discussed which were rejected were brought back into the final report through the backdoor. They did that with the full cooperation of the then President Goodluck Jonathan. But we defeated every issue they brought even though we are in the minority. If you want to have a constitutional conference, one, it must be a representative of the whole country so that people don’t feel marginalised especially those who are in the majority in the country. The north has been in the majority in the country even before 1914. You cannot have a constitutional conference in which the North has been reduced to minority in the country and you say you are having a constitutional conference. And in spite of that,we still defeated them.
In fact, I want somebody from the South to become the President and attempt to implement the report of the 2014 conference; we will kick him out in no time. You cannot be a democrat and pretend that it doesn’t matter who are the people who constitute the majority in the country. Democracy in itself means credible free and fair election. Whatever we do, that principle must be represented. If they want to try it, let them try it. It is one of the gimmicks that Jonathan attempted but he failed. In fact, initially, the idea in the North here was that we should not attend the conference but we thought doing so may lead to the break-up of the country and we don’t want to be held responsible historically for that kind of very serious step. So, we went, we saw and we defeated them.
Do you think it is morally right for a northerner to aspire for the Presidency in 2023 after President Buhari must have completed his two terms if he survives the judgment of the Supreme Court?
What do you mean by morally right? Politics and morals are two different aspects of human endeavour. First and foremost, if you know my history, from the Second Republic, I have never supported the idea of zoning or rotation. Though many Nigerians accept the idea of zoning or rotation, I don’t. But at the same time, the South East has not accepted the principle. PDP accepted the principle because they want everybody to have the opportunity to steal public money. They want it to go round. If Nigerians are serious, if a party because of zoning should put forward an unpopular or unacceptable candidate, they should simply refuse to vote for him. But in a democracy, saying we should dedicate certain positions to some people in what is supposed to be a democratic free and fair election is wrong. https://www.independent.ng/north-will-remove-any-president-who-attempts-to-implement-2014-confab-report-mohammed/ So the 1999 constitution that's favouring only the core north is not a fraud? |

Despite representing Canada and later England at different youth level , the 21 year old was eligible for Nigeria and was even contacted by the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr over the possibility of switching allegiance to Nigeria and in his response according to Rohr he asked for more time.
Tomori was thorn between playing for Nigeria, Canada or England but decided on England after he was called up by coach Gareth Southgate for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria respectively.
Explaining his decision to accept the call up, Tomori said he was disappointed not to have been called up by any of the country during the last international break and this time around only England gave him a call up.
He said he spoke with his family and they all agreed on his choice of representing England insisting that he did consider playing for Nigeria where his father hails from.
‘The last international break I didn’t get a call-up from anyone. This international break, I was waiting for a call up and England called me up”, Tomori said.
‘It wasn’t England all the way. I had certain people and certain things that I had to consider.

panigbo: As most of my fellow Igbo brothers/sisters have written on this platform, and many other platforms, for us to achieve our true potential, we need to be free from the leadership method of Nigeria. As most of my concerned Igbo brothers/sisters have pointed out, everything is totally against us.
As traders we don't have access to the world via sea or air without going through another man’s land, which exposes us to all types of extortion and abuse. We can't carry out big ticket investment like rail-lines, sea/river port or even refine our abundant resources like coal, natural gas, crude oil, palm oil and so on, without dealing with the unfavorable federal government. There is almost ZERO foreign direct investment(FDI) in the entire IGBOLAND. All these and more can be traced to the inequality and laws put to set us backwards.
My Big Brother, Nnamdi Kalu noticed that for us to achieve our true potential and be free, we have to secede from Nigeria with our south south(S/S) brothers. I feel most Igbos’ look at the average non-Igbo speaking S/S as his/her fellow brother/sister but that's not the case for them. I can categorically tell you that they feel the opposite, you hardly see a non-Igbo S/S clamoring for Biafra regardless that they have been more exploited and abused than we the Igbos. At the peak of IPOB movement, when Nnamdi Kalu was released on bail a very popular non-Igbo S/S guy asked his fellow country men on facebook if they would like to join Biafra. To my greatest surprise over 85% of them said NO, some even commented that they prefer to be in Nigeria or form their own country without the Igbos. From my further research and investigation, these people only claim united when it favors them - like Goodluck Jonathan election but hate us as much as others do. I asked umu-igbo when have you ever seen a non-Igbo S/S fighting for our right or progress? The relationship is a one-way relation - we are always giving without receiving.
I submit to you today, Nnamdi Kalu style of Biafra is not sustainable. If we want to be free we have to do it alone, we have what it takes to be independent. Based on international law, we have access to the sea. Switzerland is a landlocked nation that is way far from the sea but have a stable economy with even river ports. Rwanda is worse with no access to the sea but its the fastest growing economy is sub-saharan Africa. We have no excuse why we can’t pull out of this toxic relationship.
Granted, there is a huge brain drain in Nigeria but what is worse is the level of brain drain happening in the Igboland. Our very best is leaving Igboland daily to other parts of Nigeria because there is no hope, we lack federal investment in Igboland that would be an incentive to stay back and grow.
I ask:
Do you know if we Igbos leave today we would still be among the top 10 most populous countries in Africa? Do you know Igboland would be among the top 10 richest countries in Africa? Do you know Igboland produces more crude oil than Ghana? Do you know that coal from Enugu can power the whole of West Africa for over 100yrs? Do you know we have one of the biggest natural gas deposits in the world? Do you know that countries that never knew what palm oil was, until we showed them now run their economy solely on palm oil production? Do you know that if Igboland is granted independent we would be the true PAN AFRICAN NATION that has an indigenious language as its official language?
My people let us look inward and fight for our freedom, instead of worrying about who would join us.
I’ve based in America for about 20yrs, there is no incentive for me apart from freeing my people and seeing we achieve what God destined for us. A small united house is far better than a big divided house. We can do it… let's do it. I support ur post I live in delta state I can authoritatively tell u that the people of the so called south south region mostly the uhrobos, itsekiris, isokos and the Ijaws don't want to be part of Biafra. I really don't know why nmk is insisting that they are part of the proposed biafra republic when there are no official agreement with them yet? They are more comfortable with the yorubas than the igbos. The only group of people that I see that can join biafra are only the indigenous igbos in delta and rivers state. |

[quote author=Ekpeitit post=82853257]It's funny how you guys keep saying people claiming to be from South South ,what makes you think that there are no Niger Delta people on Nairaland? The Niger Delta people know very well that Igbos should never be trusted and will never go with your Biafra, we also know that if you were not landlocked and we did not have oil Igbo people would never have invited us into their so called Biafra. Let me ask you something, let's say Akwa Ibom State where I come from decide to join your useless Biafra, what will we gain from that? What do the Igbos bring to the table,we have oil, what do you have? You have nothing but the dream to use our oil to develop your Igbo communities. We don't need you,you need us. Please form your Igbo Biafra and leave us out of your nonsense. Ndisime ndito uneghe. I must emphasize that I am Ibibio not Yoruba.
You guys always keeps shouting our oil, our oil yet the north are the ones enjoying the real proceeds of the oil, all you get is just only 13%. How many oil wells does an akwa ibom man get in your state? You people are only strong when it comes to igbos. |
