Some of The biggest “what if” in football

What if John terry scored the penalty against man united in 2008?
What if Messi was sold to Inter Milan in 2006?
What if Sheikh Mansour had bought Liverpool or Newcastle instead of Manchester City?
What if Griezmann had not missed that penalty against Real Madrid in the UCL final?
What if,in 2009,Barcelona had chosen Mourinho to be manager ,instead of Guardiola?
What if Johan Cruyff had never signed for Barcelona?
What if Neymar had stayed at Barcelona?
What if Sir Alex Ferguson was never the manager of Manchester United?
What if Ramos had not injured Mo Salah in UCL final?
What if Gerrard had not slipped against Chelsea during the 2013/14 Premier League season?
What if Diego Simeone had never become Atletico Madrid manager?
What if Ambramovich had never bought Chelsea?
What if Hungary had won in the World Cup final?
What if Bayern Munich had lost to Borussia Dortmund in the 2013 UCL final?
What if Messi had chosen to play for Spain instead?
What if Manchester United had got Guardiola as it's manager instead of José Mourinho?

Add yours
What if United had bought Alan Shearer instead of Ole gunner solskjear. (Solskjear wouldn't have been united manager today and we might not have won the treble).

What if Costinha had not score the last minute winner vs Man united in 2004.(we may not have known Mourinho).

What if iniesta had not scored that goal versus Chelsea or Ovrebo had not bèen partial.

What if that fax machine had not been faulty? And DDG had gone to Real Madrid.

What if Messi had scored that penalty versus Chelsea in 2012 UCL semi-final.

What if Arsene Wenger had not come to Arsenal.

What if United had not signed Eric Cantona
PoliticsUmahi: I’m Under Pressure To Support Buhari by MrJanuzaj(op): 6:21pm On Jan 27, 2019
From Magnus Eze, Enugu

Chairman of South East Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi, has said that he is under intense pressure to support President Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 16 polls.

Chairman, Strategy Committee of Divine Mandate; Umahi’s campaign organisation, Chief Emmanuel Igwe who made the disclosure, yesterday, said all the governor asked of the president is to allow free, fair and credible election in the state.

He said that Umahi, as a mark of respect for the president, had promised to mobilise 2000 PDP members to come out and receive the president during his campaign stopover in Abakaliki, the state capital, this week. His words: “The governor wishes Buhari and his entourage a happy stay as APC Presidential Campaign Council visits Ebonyi on the 30th of January, 2019. Governor Umahi wishes to put it on record that the President, Muhammad Buhari is his personal friend and a friend of the state. He has much respect for the office of the president. The Governor has been under pressure to support the re-election of my president by APC bigwigs especially the party chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Chibuike Amaechi just to mention but a few who come under various guises that the APC has no interest in Ebonyi guber race.

“The Governor has no need for external forces to win convincingly in Ebonyi since over 95 per cent of the electorate is supporting his re-election. The Governor has been too magnanimous to the APC by donating the sum of five million naira to her guber candidate, Senator Sonni Ogbuoji to enable him print campaign posters and promised to mobilize two thousand people that will welcome Mr President on the proposed campaign rally,” Igwe stated.

Warning that Ebonyi people will resist any form of manipulation or rigging and intimidation with the last drop of their blood; Umahi urged the APC presidential campaign council to make out time and inspect both completed and ongoing projects in the state during their campaign tour.

PoliticsNiger Delta Militants Applaud Buhari For Suspending Onnoghen by MrJanuzaj(op): 11:33am On Jan 27, 2019
corruption war which Mr President has been fighting against since he came on board in 2015," the statement read.

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKJAN 26, 2019

The Reformed Niger Delta Avengers (RNDA) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to suspend Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

According to the group, Onnoghen "failed the integrity test".

The President suspended Onnoghen on Friday and appointed Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed to take his position, although in acting capacity.

According to Buhari, Onnoghen's suspension is the result of an order by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), before whom the suspended CJN is standing

The statement read: “We, as a group agitating for the overall development of the region, do applaud President Muhammadu Buhari for the suspension of the CJN of the federation, Mr Ononghen, because the CJN has failed the integrity test and he did not have the boldness and the courage to fight the anti-corruption war which Mr President has been fighting against since he came on board in 2015.

"The six-year administration of former President Goodluck 'Badluck' Jonathan was characterised by massive corruption, looting and gross non-supervision of his appointees with no completed project in the long-neglected region set the people and region back to the stone age of underdevelopment.

“Without much ado, we want to say that President Buhari’s fight against corruption, which was the signpost of the previous PDP administrations, had clearly defined his stand on the development of the region."

The group also commended the present administration “for the smooth take-off of academic activities at the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko”, as well as the president’s directive for the “approval of the dredging of the Escravos Warri River at the cost of N13billion to enable cargo vessels access Warri sea port, which will in turn boost economic activities in the Niger Delta”, among other listed achievements.

The group, however, urged the president “to try as much as possible to direct the immediate release of the Gas Flare Penalty Fund for affected oil-producing communities in the Niger Delta”.

Valencia obviously has not gotten the memo yet, he thinks it's still Mourinho, his attacking play was zero.
He'll definitely improve as he was one of the victims of Mourinho's ultra defensive approach to games.

Jones is still Jones, always that one nervy moment with him in the starting 11.

Rashford was kind of annoying today, he found himself in good positions but made the wrong decision often, credit to him, he kept going.

Lukaku was hungry and scored a typical poachers goal, Sanchez was rusty but with time, he'll come good.

Biggest credit has to go to Ole not just for his subs but his tactical set up, we managed to limit the crosses from the wings without being overly defensive (Mourinho, take note)...

Unto the next, Spurs it is at Wembley...The first real test but I am optimistic of our chances. Glory Glory Manchester United
My problem. With the spurs game and even PSG is our defence. We need to spend very big on a CB before the January Window end. We may concede very useless goals im tight game

With our leaky defence, I am afraid PSG may score many goals ooo. But i think, its not about the quality of the defenders, i think i has to do with defensive organisation. But its understandable when you suddenly changed from ultra defensive for the past 4 years to total attack. The defensive stability will come with time. I see us knocking out PSG. Note this

PoliticsAtiku's Allegation Of Pmb's Family Ownership Of Keystone And Etisalat: An Update by MrJanuzaj(op): 11:15am On Dec 27, 2018
PMB'S FAMILY MEMBERS, CO OWNERS OF ETISALAT NETWORK AND KEYSTONE BANK:

Before you join the bandwagon of frustrated wailers,on the allegation that PMB'S family members are Co owners of the defunct etisalat network and the keystone bank. Hear this

* There is nothing like etisalat anymore. The owners of etisalat are mubadala group from Abu Dhabi UAE. The co owner and chairman of the defuncted etisalat group was Hakeem Bello osagie who bought a substantial holding from the defuncted etisalat network with the proceeds of the sales of his shares in the former UBA to Tony elumelu and his group of investors. He sold his holdings in UBA for a whopping #10b in 2002 when obasanjo and Atiku Abubakar sold federal government shares in the former UBA. The mubadala group have exited Nigeria with their holdings and brand because of poor management, unserviceable syndicated loans that put many banks in mere comatoes.

* Keystone bank has not been sold to anybody. It was former platinum bank that was ran aground by Pat utomi as chairman and Francis atuche as managing director.
The central bank under lamido sanusi lamido as central bank governor took over platinum bank and other banks when the late president Umaru Yardua was president, who approved the bailout of some banks because of depositors funds.
Keystone bank is not a quoted company and it's still the property of federal government under the direct supervision of the central bank.
Nobody can co own a bank that has not been sold.
All attempt to sell keystone bank has not materialised because of it's liability that is more than it's asset.

Atiku Abubakar is a comedian that should not be taking serious, he is in severe pain and his pain will become more severe in 2019.

It's just basic common sense, I no be coach but I was expecting Dalot and Fred to be substituted for Young and Herrera, but I trust someone to bring in Fellaini and one other Plank if he was still the coach
Lol. And ofcourse the scores will remain 1-0 , with us doing a lot of defending, then 86 mins he will bring in Damian for Rashford to salvage the hard fought 1-0 victory. Next match he will bench Rashford for showing too much footwork, and bench luke shaw for allowing that Huddersfield chance that drew that save from DDG. He will call Pogba the virus in the team for not releasing ball on time, bench him and start Mctominay
