watz up with ladies and backside showcasing this days? even the so called enlightened too are not left out.. Is there something in dis big bis a*ss am not getting? is it an atm machine or what?

Notable Camp/NYSC officials
- Mrs Funmilayo Akin -Moses (State Director)
- Mrs A.O Olusesi AKA "Oyo state will not swallow you" (Camp Coordinator) - Very nice woman
- Major Mohammed Muazu (Camp Commandant) - Ensure you stay away and don't fall in his hands oo
- Mama SAED (SAED Coordinator) - Dont know her name, very friendly and approachable
- Madam "roll it,put it together" (Head of lectures) - nice and strict
- Baba Ayaga (Asst, Camp Commandant) - very friendly, make no mistake he will swiftly treat ur fuckup
- Mr Bolaji (Platoon 2 inspector) - accommodating, if you fall to his platoon
- Officer Adams AKA Legit - Dont know his rank, Platoon 2 military coordinator, very funny guy, he should av been a comedian
- Officer "Lacasera" - Don't know his name, Platoon 9 military coordinator, extremely jovial and well loved
- Officer "kung fu" - Don't know his name, Miltary officer in charge of Martial art - strict and sometimes friendly
- all the female military officers are very friendly.
- Alhaja - Head of registration and posting
- Mr babalola - registration officer
- "kenya Man" the man with the glasses signing meal ticket at the kitchen - saw him smile once, don't jump the kitchen queue and y'all are cool. You find out the logic behind his name(kenya man) in camp
- Officer Osas (March parade supervisor) - young and strict...
These are all i can remember for now, atleast for someone so"invisible" like me while in camp...Goodluck in camp

Quick advise..
Ibadan is not advisable if you aren't sure you will be posted to a private firm/school..
Public schools don't pay nor give reasonable accommodation, you will have to sort ur self out, And accommodation is soooo on the high side, trust me it not funny
While my fellow corpers posted to other local government(orelope, iseyin, sarki west) were all given conducive accommodation..

So I wouldn't advice ibadan if you are going to be in a public office,even government house ibadan doesn't give accommodation. And all other local government has got the necessary amenities(light, water, banks),NOTHING special about ibadan except it been the state capital and it proximity to lagos..
N:B : self contain and 2 bed room flat is very scarce here.. so be ready to share a 3 or 4 bedroom flat with others.

just walk to the OBS office in camp, application begins immediately camp opens. OBS building is the first building by the left inside the camp

OBS is not a part of the official NYSC registration, it just a group in charge of broadcasting in camp.. The OBS building is the first building by the left in the camp. So, application begins immediately camp opens.

I totally disagree with d parade own biko. Everyone that got ib in parade was outta mere luck. My friends got orelope, atiba n d likes of it. The only thing i know i gained from the yeye parade was avoiding those boring lectures.

Glad to hear that i can be there early... I will simply have to delay my queuing up for hostel allocation.

Btw bro, how then do i know that Ajimobi is filled up? Lol

you will know, the queue will be mostly in front of each hostel. You will ask to move to the next hostel on the list to be allocated

Ok, let talk about OBS(orientation broadcasting service) if you can get to the camp early enough, try and join this group, apart from the early morning and evening parade freedom you'll enjoy, there 85% assurance you will get a good posting(good ppa or good location).There is always a lot of people trying to join this group hence, go very early..

Also, if you are a good football player, endeavour you get selected out of ur platoon team to the NYSC team(made of 22 players) of every batch. This is a sure banker on getting posted to ibadan, most of the players of stream 1 were posted to ministry of sport n other ministries..
March parade, selected number of people were chosen to march during the passing out ceremony.. If you make it to this group, there might be chance you will get a good posting too, 60% of the stream 1 parade unit got good postings.. note: this is very stressful, standing under the sun for hours, practising for hours and all. If you can't stand for long don't join..

Do u get to chose your own hostel? Cos i have been hearing dreadful things about the Ajimobi hall and i hate noisy places!

u don't choose halls, Just don't queue up when it been asigned

go early, avoid the queue when the hall is being assigned. When it fully occupied, u join the queue of the other hostels.

Quick update
Medical corp members, don't join the rush and frenzy to get posted to Ibadan. Medical corpers in other local govts are gettin much better offer, funished accommodation, over 100k pay. Recommended local govt

Pay for doctors in ibadan is below 60k with no accommodation...
