anongal:oh yes I would really appreciate it for real. Just not rapidshare though. could you please use www.zshare.net Its because rapidshare would only let me download one song and then make me wait like another hour to download the other. the website again is www.zshare.net Thanks soo much Peace |
Wait is more than a friend that song that P Square like unashamedly ripped of Mario "Let me love you". Please lets not lie with each other. You are better off listening to "Let Me love you". The whole rip off of it. All they did was use different pitches for the beats. They used the same rhythm and all. Gosh, just when I was beggining to like the two brothers again urgh! My favourite video right now would be Owen Gee- Leave Levels feat Gino, & Dare Art Alade - Carry Dey Go feat, 2face. |
babyx:In as much as I agree with you that Asa's music is mature, I refuse to agree with your corporate segmentation. That crosses the line of absurdity. I was able to witness her performance in London and puhlease, the crowd was young, old, medium. Very diverse crowd. Madly diverse. That is one quality she (Asa) enjoys that her music transcends age barriers. You do not have to be corporate and a seeker of deep meaning to get into Asa. My 13 yr old cousin loves jailer and she is far from corporate for real. Please lets not start restricting her music by creating "levels" for it. If corporate people like it, its probably because her music serves as a detachment for them from their busy lives. When I need detachment from this crazy world, i also bang on my Asa or TY Bello cd. Also does anyone have a really good quality of the Asa & Silver Saddih and the Jeremy & Asa song. I would really appreciate it. I have really whack copies |
I can't feel my face is not Lil Wayne but a line Juelz Santana uses. |

Your replies really do not warrant me to write anything to you. I stand absolutely firm on my interpretation on this matter. All awo and the great Yoruba guys did were just in vain till Nigeria moves forward. They laid the foundation and the house we are building on it is shit. I do not have to be a 35 year old "wise" man to see that. You can hold your grudge against Mr Akinjide and his nice house in Stanmore. He made a darn good point where you like it or not. My people have bigger problems which need to be resolved. To each his own. To you who did not read the article fullyand only saw 4 lines then please be aware, you are working on just half a story and life so does not work like that so I would not continue this discussion with you. I stand resolutely on my view. The past is past. We learn and move on, not whine. |
Sorry did you mean Coldplay |
Iyabo Obasanjo is innocent and I live in a duplex on the moon. Mariah Carey is Igbo. Oprah Winfrey is Hausa. Any other ludicrous things we can add while we believe she is innocent Her attitude has not exactly been forthright. Dodging and hiding. Does not exactly scream innocent. Even Clinton did a better job after shoving his piece in Lewinsky's mouth (excuse the crudeness), "I did not have any sexual relations with that woman, " |
The past is past there is nothing we can do to change. If we really want to honor Awolowo and other numerous Yoruba leaders that have tried their hands in steering this country in the right paths, then its time for us to concentrate on the matter at hand which is the dire status of Nigeria. Imbibing and invoking Awolowo's name is not going to solve anything. We can always remember them for what they did, and we should not forget but its time for us too to start laying down our legacy. That is my point. In respect to Akinjide, he does make a point. Read the whole article. His major point being, we can tweak the constitution and mend it as much as we like till its perfect, Nigeria still won't function because the people that control her constitution are not clean. They have bad intentions and are rotten to the core with corruption. The law is only as good as those who enforce it (which is why Policemen act so recklessly and mostly get away with it). That is Mr Akinjide's point. This then follows up into my point of us letting the past be the past, we have licked the past wounds long enough. Surely Mr Akinjide did his 12 2/3rds thing, but he is done and repented (there was an article where he laments all the crap he has done, not that I believe it but thats his word; I could not care less as we have problems at hand). What we have to do now is act on his point and make sure we have trusting individuals who would act accordingly and bend the constitution. What we have to do now is ensure that our leaders are acting in the best interest of the public and not private interests. I hope that is clear enough for some of you who refuse to look at the bigger picture. |
Ya ya, you have said that. I hope Nigeria has improved within the last 5 minutes of you admitting that awo was almighty, oh wait whats this No. No light no water, no nothing. Obviously you did not read my reply. Feel free to list the mighty mighty things Awo did. i shall not dismiss them. i shall add them to my fact and figures on what Awo did that has been laid to waste. So why not pull your pants up and lets focus on improving Nigeria. In UK, no one forgot Churchhill, but right now they are focusing on the future. The Labour problem and we have another party (conservatives) forthcoming with solution albeit dodgy but still forthcoming with it. They are not sitting on their asses lamenting about Churchhill and how great he was. They are not whining about it. |
P.S. - If anyone bothered to read the full article, he still makes sense albeit he brags a tad bit, but sense is sense. He makes really good points |
I can't really say much on this dude Akinjide as an eighties baby. But i shall give you the view of a few 80s. You might not share it. 1) As a yoruba boy, I did not seem to think Yoruba had any ruler apart from the traditional ruler. You can not equate a politician to be the leader of a race. Too abstract. So what happens to the hausa people, and other tribes in the political party that Awo & the rest of the Rotary club you all mentioned headed. Does that mean Yoruba people are the leaders of their tribe? On that instance, I agree with Akinjide. 2) I respect Awo and the other leaders and all they did, but this is 2008 and I am sorry all they are good for to me is rememberance on Sallah day and christmas with my dad about the good ole days. Right now we need fresh blood and the old men are not letting us. The young leaders in Nigeria are busy trying to make ends meet. Its time to let go. There is always a museum to remember what Awo did. Right now we need action. Obasanjo has done his "good" damage, we need action. Isn't it funny no one is kicking up a fuss about former military rulers who stole and looted nigeria dry coming back in Civilian costumes. I still am in shock we let Obasanjo win the last terms. What next, Babangida would run and we all say yes ![]() 3) As a young guy all I need is someone with vision, unless Awo is coming back then please let it go. Let them rest in peace. Do not take what Akinjide is saying out of context. He had a point. Just cuz he did whatever he did (which I do not knwo what he did) does not mean he does not have gumption which plainly a lot of people lack. And infact I am going to say it, Awo was not exactly a saint either. MKO was not exactly a saint. Murtala was not exactly a saint. Please lets stop droning on about them and make a concious effort to start improving the country. Na group effort. Still a Proud Yoruba boy Peace |
Totally of the mark. What exactly does some weird looking dude called Denrele Edun do in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Saw a really absurd pic of him on google and it was not a fancy dress party. What does he do and is he relevant. Thanks |
nice song for real. I swear he was on the T-Pain auto tune lol. |

God forbid me get ruled by an European Leader. Do u know what you are asking for. Might as well submit yourself to rape. Just because their countries are on a better scale to ours does not mean we cannot reach and exceed theirs. There country is where its at because they were developing their countries using other people as slaves. Yeah yeah its the whole slave theory again, but imagine if the roles were reversed so Africans captured whites and forced them to build tunnels and toil large expanses of land to provide food and cash crops and Africans spent the rest of their free time developing science and technology. DOn't you think the story would be different. Look at Egypt and the Israelites till God set them free. Same principle with housemaid/nanny and Employer. You employ them to do stuff while you do better stuff. Now we are left alone and must rebuild though its taking us a while, but we shall surely get there. There is no way I would have a European ruling Nigeria. I personally would run a coup like it was the 70s/80s. Nothing do me |
lmaoooooo |
Security and that includes getting rid of babalawos and witches (don't act like you not worried about the negative things people used these guys for). Nothing but that. Security and about 9 hours of light |
did not even know we had a proper tax system in Nigeria. I would say pay it. The British Government rapes us in tax and NI but then the joy lies in being able to go to a well mowed park and play basketball and football freely with your young ones. Lies in being able to take the bus and tube, albeit always late but still available. The last joy is security. When I moved to UK first thing I noticed that they had extremely low fences which I thought extremely absurd that I could see what my neighbor was doing. Compared to the high fences you have to erect in Nigeria like prison. Oh well I guess if security can be provided again in Nigeria, then I am willing to pay tax. |
MeGaStReEt:Thank you Megastreet for the track. I like it, its good to hear something from him. I think P Square is the last of his worry. Banky and Wande Coal yes. Definitely not P Square |
Thanks, really appreciated |
Please do not use Naija Pals, that is just long and forces everyone to sign up. Just use www.sharebee.com and upload it there. It is the best option. trust me i send music on a daily basis and that is the best thing to use. |

, Jerry is a talent so is Asa, their music is for the matured especially ASA, her songs are mostly enjoyed by corporate people who seek deeper meanings to what they listen to
