In the past, some celebrities have left the profession that got them fame and go into other professions they have conviction to do so as to better the society.
Examples of Chris Okotie, who left the music scene to become a Pastor; Pat Attah, who also moved in the same direction of Chris Okotie; Kanayo O Kanayo, who became a politician; Okey Bakasi, RMD also in the line of Kanayo, etc.
But can you figure out Omo Sexy, as Omotola is fondly called by fans, being a police officer? This warning by Omo T, as she is also called should not be taken lightly as she wants to take the Nigeria Police to the next level to make better.
She has also sounded a note of warning to those who will not want to take her serious. She has warned, GET BUSY or Get Arrested. Go to the source and find out why, Soure |

Celebrities › D'banj Under Attack Again Over Alleged 'insensitive' Comments by mrkels(op): 10:07pm On Feb 20, 2012*. Modified: 12:52pm On Feb 12, 2013 |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/643037_dbanj_jpg8e59c34cb2a108b44b5f20354dea37c3Popular Nigerian music star, Dapo Oyebanjo, who is well known as D'Banj, has again landed himself into another waters of controversies. You will recall that the music artiste was lashed out on by some fans just last month, when he was alleged of not showing concerns for fuel subsidy protests going on as at that time. Just when some Nigerians were almost letting go of him of that, the kokomaster has plunged himself into another ocean of troubles. In a recent interview with Saharareporters, D'Banj told the world that he never knew what was happening in Nigeria during the fuel subsidy protests saga. He claimed he was in the United Kingdom at that time.
But when asked if he also never heard of the London version of the protest in the UK, D'Banj said he was also not aware of that. He claimed he was also not aware of it via the internet. He then went ahead to tell the interviewer that he was not concerned about all that (fuel subsidy matters) but he was only ready to talk about his New York koko concert, which held yesterday.
A part of the interview reads, "I have told you, I don’t want to say anything about that topic. I have a concert tomorrow (February 19), I need to practice and prepare well so I can represent Africa well," D'Banj told the interviewer, Chika Odua. In reaction to D'Banj's interview, many Nigerians have condemned him over his alleged unguarded statements on the plights of Nigerians who buy his work. According to some who spoke to Nigeriafilms.com, they wonder why D'Banj would show such insensitivity towards what affects those that pay for his services. A fan of his told Nigeriafilms.com, "this same D'Banj would expect us to buy his album, pay 1million naira per table for his shows. Is he doing music for himself? D'Banj has lost it, for me, I will not waste my money on his music again." A top Nigeria music artiste, who begged for anonymity told Nigeriafilms.com, "that was a wrong thing to say, D'Banj should have just used that medium to win hearts of fans who were already disappointed in him during the Occupy Nigeria protests.
"He should have understood that this same people made him who he is today. Those [artistes] that participated in the protests were not fools. I pray this does not affect his career in Nigeria. I just hope so." Social networking sites, especially twitter is getting buzzed on anger by some Nigerians over the Saharareporters' interview with D'Banj, with many condemning D'Banj on his comments. Will D'Banj get out of this unhurt career-wise? Source |

Guy its a big scam runaway, Why should you pay money to them, i have done some interviews and inshort i have collected up to #15,000 as trasport fee just for attending the interview. Any body that asks you to pay something for an offer or anything is a big scam, foward the mail and account number to the police or the EFCC or get help in how to catch the account holder so he will pay for what he is doing. I hate it when they scam job seekers, C'mon if them get moni them go dey find job Heartless bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Temix: Goodday everyone, I also got invited for this interview! What I want to know is if anybody has an idea of how the interview will be like, are we writing a test or just getting interviewed. And also how good is this place to work, cos 2yrs seems like a pretty long time to be a trainee, do they pay trainees? @tendy08, I don't think its only finance dept cos I applied for operations. So u seem to have inside knowledge, can u ansa any of those questions for me Wow guy, These BAT people are really something else, I am still yet to recieve any correspondence from them, i heard they come in batches, the thing is i don know why they havnt sent me a mail telling me if i passed the online test or failed it, i really dont like being kept in the dark like this, Now someone said 200-250k wow is that monthly for management trainee men i shud have done better if thats true, and temi this is your chance o dont mess it up ok. See the information i got from another site regarding this issue, got to d Final stage of their recruitment last year. then, the test was organised by people Temp (44 Isaac John, GRA-Ikeja). and it was numeric reasoning & Verbal reasoning and was computer based. However, before the test, we first had a pre-interview session @ one recruiting agency company on the island. It was the successful candidates from the pre-interview that sat for the computer based test am talking about. after the computer test was an Assessment Centre and finally a meeting with the head of the unit you applied for. After everything, only 15 persons were selected. This was from some1 else, Also temi this is what you shud expect, 50 or 60 questions in 1 hour. Questions comprising of regular GMAT verbal and quantitative reasonings. The verbal part should have synonyms, antonyms and the like, while the quantitative should have mean, median and other statistical stuffs, then some calculations, Goodluck man. |
