I chose my current Church,OPM because it is a true living church where the teachings of Jesus Christ are fully followed and people are saved.
OPM is a church like no other,operating 15 free schools, free specialist hospitals, free restaurant and rehabilitates destitutes,drug addicts,prostitutes and also sends talented youths overseas.

I was born into a Catholic church, and over the years I have seen so many things I don't like about Catholics e.g the worshiping and bowing down to images, which the Bible clearly kicks against... So many other things they do that I begin to doubt if Catholic is a real church...

The Catholic always tell their girls to insist the man must join the church. This is how they are wired. But you must know that the Nigerian culture tells the girl to attend the man's church. Go and make your research well. The catholic church is aware of this cultural rule too. Now, my question is this: what if the girl who wants to marry the catholic boy insists too....what will the catholic church say? Of course the church will still insist the girl joins the church. This is a religious act I see that is killing christians. If the two of you are prayerful, believe me, you will not have any problem with this. Sir, let her go if you do not like the catholic church. I do not understand why she dated out of the church since her aim is to marry one. Hoping to convert ones partner is a manipulative act. They are confusionists. They are aware of the Nigerian culture but they are just confusionists. This is where I respect JEHOVAH witnesses. They know they cannot marry outside their church, so they dont even date outside their church. But Catholics are notorious in regards to this issue.

And if i truely love the lady and she reciprocates, i will personally compromise and join her in her church.
As far as she is playing her wife roles.
But after a child birth, i may switch back to my own church and tell her to stick to catholic.
I am not a religious person and i will always compromise church over my girl.

I have a lady friend who's husband is a Catholic n attends his church while she attends hers! amongst all my married friends their marriage is the most united. why? because they are 2 human beings that love each other irrespective of any other thing. Church/religion has caused a lot of problems to humanity.

I was once in this kind of situation. In my case we dated for 6 good years, then when it got to settling down, babe started talking about my church as if she didn't know all these while. I thought it was just a delay tactics but it was more than that. Long story cut short, I couldn't let go of everything we have shared so far. Since I know her cycle very well, I targeted her fertile days, spoil her with gifts and got her pregnant. After that I warned her against any attempt on abortion, then I reported myself to her father, it was hell initially then everything calmed down, marriage was the only thing on the table. We do joke about the past sometimes, on those times she always accuse me of using deceit to marry her.
