Abdul05:exactly it’s not rocket science. The days of Yorubas being accommodating are over. If you don’t like it, LEAVE |
I need the link so I can share and agree with this man. Thanks for sharing. Yorubas eyes everywhere are awakening. Ogun ti de. |
homosapien:God bless you for this write up. It’s the 100% truth. And Yorubas need to immediately tone down the liberal mess as they’re destroying our land. |
DeepThroater:This is so true. |
butterfly777:The quotes are exact. Not misleading at all. Check the like and comments to confirm yourself. No one here is blind. |
SmellyNyash:And the guy that’s calling for violence is what? Sane and should continue? |
Corto:if you see his account you’ll know it’s fake. Igbo behind it. Regardless, don’t you see the likes from igbos? After years of accommodating igbos why aren’t they denouncing this violence. Or are the well meaning Yorubas that will be affected the most expected to be casualties and just die like chicken? |
Obi supporters vow to bring “violence” and “weapons” to takeover elections for Obi in Lagos. Official link seen below: https://twitter.com/shehusky/status/1553086226088992768?s=21&t=x85sv6zMdlKzm8HrZRcBUw

MDM2021:He knows you’re saying the truth so he ran with his tail between his legs. |
I wonder if they will say the same to China that has not only banned Twitter but also Facebook and Google. Not every country needs to support American apps as if they’re gifts from God. Africa still plays with very small minds. Instead of you to develop your own apps to support your own people and create jobs for your own youths (like China and India is doing), you are busy helping make these American companies and their country bigger and better. Tell me, what benefit does Twitter, and FB bring to Nigeria that we can’t create and give to ourselves? You people must not know how much money America makes from these TRILLION dollar companies in tax. And you wonder why their country GDP is $22 trillion when ours can’t even crack $1 trillion. We really need to wake up and start competing properly. |
The two countries IPOBIANS always talk about, Ghana and Egypt, are both on this list. These people don’t know what the Bleep they’re talking about. All sentiments, no facts or proper analysis. |
Nigerians that don’t even know their own economy. Nigeria has already diversified its economy. 93% of its GDP is coming from non oil. With the majority of it coming from Agriculture, Trade, and ICT. Nigeria is the largest producer of rice in Africa. But if you ask Nigerians they’ll say we don’t have any Agriculture production. https://nairametrics.com/2022/03/10/largest-sectors-of-nigerian-economy-in-2021these-are-the-four-largest-sectors-of-the-nigerian-economy/

With the level of popularity Obi has on the internet. I just wonder what will happen if he loses in a landslide. As in he is a distant 3rd in votes in comparison to Tinubu & Atiku. Will that failure be the biggest embarrassment in Nigerian history? I don’t think I’ve seen a singularly popular candidate that could possibly lose in a landslide. With his VP selection I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s not serious, and not realistic. Maybe I should’ve known this from his philosophy degree. Philosophers love pontificating and grammar, but are rarely grounded in reality. I don’t see the pair of candidate getting over 25% of votes in 1/3 of all states, which is needed to win the presidency. But time will tell. What do you think? |
Less than 5% of Nigerians are on Twitter. So Twitter reflects less than 5% of Nigeria. When you consider the non-existing political clout of his VP, Obi will not win. Not only will he lose, he won’t come close to winning. It will be the biggest embarrassment. He’ll be absolutely disgraced as a result. It’ll be the biggest fail in Nigeria political history. He may never show his face in public again after losing. Just my own opinion. Better prepare yourself accordingly. |
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this election will awaken the Yorubas to the extreme hatred the Igbos have for them. And it may do irreperable damage between both tribes. When we say there’s only 1 tribe that carries Tinubu’s name for head as the spawn of satan (not Hausas, ikwerres or Fulani). When we say there’s only 1 tribe that always loves throwing shots at Awolowo. When we say there’s only 1 tribe that always calls Lagos “No Man’s Land”. When we say there’s only 1 tribe that coined “Yoruba Demon” (Kanu) and “Fulani Slaves”. Yorubas aren’t dumb. They just need to be told this and sit back and watch. Igbos will continue to expose themselves And ignorant Yorubas will have to wake up at some point. They may give grace, they may need to see these examples 2 or 3 times. But igbos will surely give plenty of evidence to these facts. And eventually even the most clueless Yoruba will see what’s clear as day and will reflect with the same energy. Or is it because you lot were allowed to be bigots with no response all this while that you thought it was normal? No the consequences will come and it will come hard. It has just been delayed. |
This has already been debunked as fake news. Mynd44 |
1Alex:his point stands. Igbos have ALWAYS undermined Yoruba political progress. From Awolowo to Tinubu, students of history know this. It’s just that Obasanjo was the only logical option to go against what the Yoruba region wanted. |
HONESTFACT101:and who’s more qualified than a man who’s been in politics for 20+years? |

Many people had opinions about Tinubu running. Saying he will be betrayed by the northerners, that he will be betrayed by the Yorubas, that he will not win the APC ticket at all. However one thing is clear, the ones who wail the loudest, are rarely those that end up being correct. Against hatred, insults, blackmail, social media trolling, attacks, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged VICTORIOUS as the APC candidate. There are a few lessons to learn in regards to this. 1. Yorubas United Can Achieve Anything Don’t get me wrong, I mean those that are TRULY omoluabis. The ones doing the ground work in local politics, those working with delegates, those in transportation unions, those that are willing to put in the WORK for the future of Yorubas and the country overall. I am NOT talking about the traitors. I am NOT talking about the ones that are willing to contest for the same prestigious job you are contesting for after getting them a job in your company. I am NOT talking about the ones who bend with the wind of social media because they lack self esteem and value being liked over common sense and facts. I am not talking about the backstabbers. I am talking about the REAL omoluabi. And a United front can achieve ANYTHING. 2. The Hausa - Fulanis Can Partner With The Yorubas in Good Faith Prior to the primaries, there was a lot of talk about how the northerners will ultimately betray Tinubu in the APC. How Buhari will end up forcing the norther delegates against Tinubu. How they will never zone to a southerner. All have been WRONG!!! It has become quite clear that those peddling these lies are likely those from the hate filled region and their miscreants. 3. The Days of Yoruba Traitors Are OVER Many people thought that other Yorubas will turn on Tinubu. That Yorubas will be the ones to take him down. On the contrary, Yorubas stood FIRM on the Tinubu mandate. The political tactician that has turned the SW region the number one destination of citizens from ALL other regions. For that I am proud! With that being said, we can’t talk about traitors without talking about Osinbajo. A man that has let his Twitter clout cloud his judgement and sanity. A man that sincerely had forgotten just how much power and influence he had belonged to one man and one man only, Tinubu. Well when it came time to separate the two, everything became crystal clear. Left to his own vices, Osinbajo wouldn’t have come CLOSE to being a VP let alone president. And with this gamble, his political career might just be over. Tinubu has proven it time again, yes he can be a Kingmaker and elevate you to great heights. But he can also bring you down just as fast by simply walking away and supporting someone else (or himself). Ambode was exhibit A, going against the master plan set out by Tinubu and previous administrations. And Osinbajo is now exhibit B. This is a tremendous breakthrough and an example that has been set, that Yoruba traitors have no power in the region, and will ultimately be EMBARRASSED. Be a traitor at your own peril. 4. The time is NOW for Yorubas to Use Their Talents and Structure to Benefit Nigeria at Federal Level The Yorubas have long since thought that of given the opportunity and freedom to change Nigeria for the better, it can reach heights never before seen. There’s a reason during the regional govt days that the SW had the first skyscraper in Africa, the first television station in Africa, free education, healthcare and all other benefits that enabled the region to thrive when it had its own power and autonomy. Since then, Yorubas haven’t had its own autonomy in its own region or even at the federal level, until now. With Tinubu winning, and more importantly with the WAY that he won the primaries, he has reached a level that gives him autonomy to lead as he sees fit. He CRUSHED the primaries with over 800 more delegate votes than 2nd place. He is far and away the most supported APC candidate right now, and if he’s able to win the presidency, he will answer to no one to run it how he sees fit. With that, I expect a master plan similar to what he has laid out in Lagos. Strategies and institutions that will stand the test of time for the next 50-60 years. With the ultimate goal of taking Nigeria to the next level. Time will tell what the future holds, but one thing about Tinubu is when he says he will accomplish something, he never fails. He said “EMI LO KAN!”, and he was undoubtedly correct, he is the last man standing. He says he will change Nigeria for the better. That remains to be seen, but we are eagerly watching. |
To put it simply, Yorubas are a people that can put ego aside to follow. It is why the region has levels of leadership, direction, and long term planning. Yorubas are gifted in building SYSTEMS that rely on the whole. And put leadership and followership on equal pedestals for the advancement of the race. The igbos in the other hand by and large have a “I am king and bow to no one” mentality. You can’t build a political structure with that mentality, much less a partnership with others. It’s the reason why they’ve never had a kingdom that reaches the likes of the other tribes in scale. Just look at how China runs their system. One leader, one party, efficient, effective, and dominant in comparison to others. |
THE CANNIBALS ARE SHOCKED BEYOND BELIEF! Someone check on them please! ![]() |
Just because it’s news we may not want to hear doesn’t mean it’s news we don’t need to hear. It’s better to keep people informed. |
Not to mention Yorubas dominate the tech sector with Paystack, flutterwave both being Yoruba founded. And many many more that are receiving funding and about to be unicorn companies are nearly all Yoruba founded. Even Yorubas in the United States are starting to become self made billionaires there as well, Tope Awotona as an example joining the Forbes list this year as the wealthiest self made Nigerian American immigrant ever. Not to mention Yorubas in the UK like Ogunlesi that led the acquisition of the UKs Gatwick airport. Yorubas are great, if we want to start dick measuring now that other tribe will see reality and have a heart attack. They’re lucky we are humble. Let’s not adopt their mentality, it’s not a good look. It’s funny, they call themselves Jews but it’s the Yorubas that emulate the Jews in their actions not mouth more than them. Silently dominating business and gaining influence without chest thumping. Let’s keep it that way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hit7SXi1Ccs |
Islandlady:Burna boy is mixed. Clearly he’s part Yoruba, but don’t know what other tribe he is. |
iblawi:Stop responding to him. Let him talk to himself. |
Factshunter:Agreed. It is my fault, I should not have responded that first time, I believe he’s been seeking attention on this thread for a while now. Let’s all not stop giving it to him henceforth. DON’T respond to Shaolin77 |
You don’t like it, then choke. Why don’t you go to the ikwerres, Ijaws, or the fulanis with this garbage? Because they will laugh you out of the room. Well Yorubas don’t want to hear this garbage either. Vote the candidate you want and let others do the same. |
Shaolin77:Igbos and pain go hand in hand when it comes to Yorubas. Did you watch the video? He’s far and away the largest shareholder. Bootstrapped so he likely owns more of his company than most other top tech firms because he only sough out investors AFTER it was built, where others give up equity earlier on. FORBES has acknowledged him as the WEALTHIEST Nigerian American ever. Why on earth should I compare him to inferior local traders that could never even shine his shoes let alone compete with him? Your Aba made delusional stats starts and ends in your region. When it comes to Forbes they only acknowledge true TITANS of industry. Not petty trading. |
Lagos Blue line intra-city train line is nearing completion! The line is expected to link other states. Before we know it people will be taking trains all across yorubaland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mPNEp_gRy8 |
Perfectbeing:Glad you also said it. Yorubas are waking up to the fact that the igbos are very very VERY envious of the Yorubas. |
