PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Win Saturday’s Presidential Election With Big Margin- Nuhu Ribadu by MrMandilas: 8:16pm On Mar 26, 2015

Ribadu has become another Abati. This is the same Ribadu that indicted Mama Piss of corruption. Only in Nigeria do people change their character like chameleon.

Anyway, the math does not add up for Jonathan.

NW, NE and SW are blocks vote for Buhari plus a big chunk of NC. I do not know a single Yoruba who intends to vote for Jonathan. Of course few Yorubas are going to vote for Jonathan, but I am certain that Jonathan cannot get up to 30 percent in SW.
SW is the domain of APC so anyone who expects SW to vote Jonathan is not thinking right.

Jonathan is only guaranteed of SE. Even SS like Edo, Rivers will give Buhari a good slice. And Imo in SE will give Buhari more than 20 percent. So where are the numbers for Jonathan?

Sai Buhari! Incoming president
Please count IMO STATE out. We are not moved by your slogan " change ". Only Okorocha and his family is voting Buhari. We are not 'follow follow' folks the way u people follow Tinubu. We are voting GOODLUCK. We don't need to be bribed to do so.

you keep on mentioning "because your inlaws said so, ask you to do so," what has said so got to do with behaving like a goat? I don't need to live in their house, everything needed is on this thread.

FamilyRe: If This Was Your Husband What Would You Do? by MrMandilas: 1:28pm On Mar 14, 2015

I don't need to hear the man's side, there is no excuse that can justify a cheat's actions. Whether he is brought into American or not I don't care, the man is wrong end off.

Who is saying respect is doing what your inlaw asks you to do? His behaviour is disrespectful towards the wife and family, not what he was asked to say or do. When you get married you take your inlaws like your parents and give them the same level of respect you would your parents unless of course you have no respect for your parents. You can still respect your parents and have disagreements. If a man cannot show an ounce of respect for the inlaws how much more the wife, it is the same disrespect that caused him to cheat and beat the wife injuring their baby.

Even if he disliked the mother, that is not the way to go about it, you act civil since she is the mother of your wife, not act like a goat about the whole thing. I can only imagine the tantrum he was throwing about how he didn't like the mum so he won't go to the family dinner. What a little bytch! The wife should call the mum anytime the husband beats hers because it seems the mum is the husband's kryptonite.
U are speaking as if u live in the same house with them. When did it become a law in marriage that u must dine with ur inlaws to because they said so. Karma is waiting.

U are wrong bro. What kind of respect are u talking about. Doing whatever ur inlaws asked u to do is not respect. Taking whatever they say happens to ur marriage is not respect it is slavery in marriage bro. My father inlaw is a military man. We don't agree at all. He alway wants her daughter to answer his calls b/4 mine. And i made him understand that she may be his daughter, but now my wife, and that should be respected.

God forbid! I can neva imagine doing dat..
Buh now d arguement her is not abt beating d wife buh rather its abt d man not obliging to visit his in-law which from my deduction should be a result of accumulated grudges againts d mother in-law whom I believe might b over interfering in her inmature daughter's marital problems...if my mother in-law does not see me as worthy of her daughter I too will not see her as worthy of my time...I guess u aint married yet.
This is the exact thing in my mind. And people are here blaming the the man. Because the broght him over does not make him loose his respect.

I do not believe she left because she was looking down on him but the fact that he is being disrespectful. So whay you are saying is if your woman does not respect or regard your mom you won't do anything because you prefer her to you mom so she can behave and treat your mum anyhow she likes?
No bro. Let her tell us the begining of this whole thing. There was one easter like that we traveled. I left home to see some old friends. When i returned i saw my wife exchanging words with my mother, i took my wife to know what happened. She is on her right. Inside the room i had to beg her to forgive my mum. I also begged to be calm anytime something like that comes up because that woman is my mother. I went to my mom because i know her so well. She told me the same story. I told my mom she was wrong, my wife still came to beg her. Why because i did not take side with my mom. Please lets call a spade a spade not a farm tool.

AgapeCharis:
You're not getting it. The man is not ready for any reconciliation between himself and the wife's mum. He's not ready for any prayer. The hatred he has for her didn't start when she asked the daughter to send him back to Nigeria. The mother only said that when he beat her up because she went to visit her own mother and came late. That man to me is irresponsible and a beast!
You are concluding and condenming a man whon u don't know and have not heard his own part of the story. It is bad how we judge others when it comes to marital issues. I an a man and i can tell u that the man in question is not head high. The mother inlaw is the problem. It did not start with the visitation and late coming. The genesis is not yet told. @rokiatu, beg ur friend to tell the story from the begining. And when that is done, everyone will see why the man is like that. U can't help a man and use him as a house boy and forgeting the fact the he is ur inlaw.

He is playing "big boy" at the moment but depending on how much she knows Her husband and whether he actually feels the same for her, she could ride it out and when the hubby is ready to come down to earth, he will go get her. BUT, my worry is whether the guy does not give a shyt where the wife is as long as she is not in their home......I mean, if he has his papers now, he will probably be thinking he should spread his wings and fly with the way his acting towards the whole situation.

I recommend she goes back and leave mom and hubby to be for now as long as she and the children can go to the mum's house freely without him stopping them. I mean, she won't win this battle staying outside, she needs to do it inside her home because if she is not at home who will shuku shuku inside the man's ear for him to come to his senses? She has to build their relationship from her marital home but she also has to understand it is not by force to like someone, some people just do not click. The man too is being immature as he can still be cordial even if he doesn't like the mum. Shows he has no respect for your friend and her family.

it's hard sha, when we don't know exactly how the man behaves towards the wife.

I personally won't have any man disrespect my mother, no matter how much in love I am. If you cannot get along with my mother then you cannot be in my life...Just saying but since she is married with kids she has to think about the situation carefully.
I will not go for her because i did not send her away. Paper or no paper. You don't look down on people u helped because u helped them. If am the man, because she prefared her mum to me, she should stay with her mum till she come to her senses.

U are killing urself. Someone will do the same to ur wife when u are ready to settle down. It is law of karma. When this happens, don't blame ur wife, remember this day and bear the pain. The earlier the better. Tell her politely never to come back again because she is married.

After getting a hospital and doctor that is willing to accept your wife,if your correspondence with both doctor and hospital is by phone, then you should request them to send you a mail in the case of the hospital with their fee breakdown, while that from the doctor should also indicate that he is willing to accept you and a breakdown of his fees, these you will then print out as part of your burden of proof
Some doctors demand for a fee for this service while others dont,it all depends on the doctor you are using.
Your wedding certificate can be from any church, the important thing is that they are authorised by law to conduct mariages.
thanks a lot. Pls do u have any hospital and doctor i can use?

I think with your 3.2M and wiffys 1.6M you guys are good to go
Since her passport bears the same name with you i dont think change of name etc is neccessary, just go with your marriage certificate.
Try and go back to the old thread and read back and put together your burden of proof.
Are you guys applying as a family? If yes then both of you need to go together for the interview.
Decide on the state you want to travel to and start looking for hospital and doctor in that axis.
I hope i have been able to throw some light on your concerns.
Thank u so much.If we get in touch with the doctor, is there documents that i should get from him or her to solidify our chances of getting the visa? because in ur burden of proof. u stated a document from the doctor in the states. will i demand for that from the doctor or will they just send it to me? if yes, am i going to pay? My wedding certificate if from Mountain of fire. is it ok? Thanks for helping me. Chukwu gozie gi.

I appreciate all your responses to my current challenge...
Right now I can't even work perfectly because my supervisor's wife sent me a message this early morning; I don't know how she got my number...
The content of the message happened to be a lobby type ; I don't know if they want to set me up.
She asked me to go and ask for forgiveness from my boss for spying on them.
And she pleaded that her husband should not know; she claimed she did it for her husband's promotion.
Am just worried because this boss of mine seems powerful and well connected...
I can't even concentrate on the assignment on my table...
So confused truly.....
I see this forum as a home ; that's why I could bring it up here for sincere help..
Pls take this sincere advice. Do not beg ur boss. If u beg ur boss,it will be recorded. It is their plan and he is waiting for u to come. They want to turn it against u. It will be like he caught u trying to rape the woman and u have come to apologize. And the recorded plea from u will be their proof. Be calm as if u never received any mail from anyone. The number she used to send that might not be her own. Cheaters are smart! Save the text sent to u in another phone where no one will tamper with it. They are scared already! So be calm, be bold, walk around as if nothing happened, and there would be more confusion between the both of them. Your presence is a burden to your boss already.Thank me later. Like Phema said, 'I am this nice'.

1. How much was in ur husband's account and in ur own account. I have about 3.2 million in my account and 1.6 million in my wife's account. We are both working in my company(registered).
2. In her passport, she bears the same surname with me. Do we still need to provide change of name and sworn affidavit and newspaper confirmation?
Both of us are planing to go. Is it ok if i go for the interview?
3. How do i get the contact of the doc. That helped to send u the appointment letter. Thank u so much.
