dominique:Dominique, why did they discontinue Nairalist? I believe that classifieds site was doing pretty well back then. Till today, there's really nothing like Nairalist still in Nigeria. |
emmamedicro46:Lol Life has a way of teaching us important things. The wise way to learn is to learn from the life mistakes of others instead of waiting till you make your own mistake and then learn. |
delishpot:Seems you're experienced in matters such as this. |
ishowdotgmail:Was there any qualified medical personnel who declared him dead? Instead of you to use your brain, you come here typing one prayer. In the stormy Sea of life, you pray to God but row towards the shore. |
IkpuMmiri:Even if you don't plan to have sense in your life, may God disappoint you by giving you sense. |

March 2003 Seven killed as police clash with separatists http://www.irinnews.org/news/2003/03/31/seven-killed-police-clash-separatists December 2005 At least 12 dead in clashes over separatist protest http://www.irinnews.org/fr/node/224867 September 2006 Government cracks down on Biafra separatist resurgence http://www.irinnews.org/news/2006/09/04/government-cracks-down-biafra-separatist-resurgence Before Kanu, Uwazuruike was charged for treason. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4418132.stm 14 Years later, we are still using the same unsuccessful point -and-kill methods to handle the Biafran issue. It is not every time a child cries you beat the child to silence such child. Sometimes, you emphatise, sometimes you listen, sometimes you ignore, sometimes you talk and reason with the child. Biafra is presently the biggest political and economic franchise in the SE and unfortunately, it's led by questionable characters. Uwazuruike started Massob while living a single room in Ijeshatedo, Lagos. Today, he's a multi billionaire. Kanu didn't have a verifiable means of livelihood in the UK and lives in his father's house here in Nigeria. We need to revaluate the approach that throws up charlatans like Uwazuruike and Kanu to lead the struggle and grow fat from the proceeds while the average Biafran suffers. The army can kill a hundred Uwazurikes and a thousand Kanus but the question of Biafra remains and it's a valid one. Time would not heal this wound it would only make it fester. Only truth can heal it. |

Getting married is not a problem, staying married is the problem. |
I don't envy Abaribe right now. |
Max24:Keep reading my post repeatedly till you understand it. |

Nutase:Why have you decided to make commonsense your mortal enemy? Look at how you're publicly disgracing your ancestors and advertising your ignorance? I should never have quoted you, I thought you had something upstairs. |
Nutase:That is the same Judge who refused to be intimidated and was retired instead of being allowed to continue as President of the Court of Appeal. As President of the Court of Appeal, Presidential election petitions came to his court and he as President sat over those petitions. To avoid his seating over the election petition, he was prematurely promoted to the Supreme Court (with the intention that he would be demoted to the Court of Appeal after the election petition). When he refused the shady promotion, he was compulsorily retired. |
sarrki:When Justice Uwais headed the Constitution review committee, was there shortage of man power? Justice Chukwudifu Oputa headed the Truth and. Reconciliation Committee in 1999-2000, was there shortage of man power? Please, get proper enlightenment before posting next time. |
adisabarber:Yahaya Bello is the youngest Governor in Nigeria. See the wonders he's doing in Kogi? Dino Melaye is one of the youngest Senators around, see how exemplary he is? |
In the absence of the Chukwudifu Oputas, The Adolphus Karibi-Whytes, people like Ayo Salami are some of the very rare honest men who were in Nigeria's judiciary. |
I have just one fear: Kanu has been given the El Zakzaky treatment. Soon, the argument won't be: we want BIafra, it would be "Give us Kanu". That exactly would be how the Biafran argument would be distracted simply because Kanu and his cotravellers in violence refused to allow consultation, diplomacy and tact take charge. |
OP, I don't have time for long stories and winding tales. 1. In practice, there is no way you can get your Certificate of Occupancy in Lagos within 3 months. Don't mislead people. 2. Posting the details of that poster is very unprofessional and despicable. That singular act shows that you're not a lawyer or have knowledge of legal matters. Even Nairaland prohibits an act such as this, pls delete it. 3. If you're reluctant to provide an ordinary Survey plan to a prospective client, how would you go further to process the C of O within your advertised time frame of "90 days"? 4. You didn't state the present status and title of the land. Is it freehold, under acquisition, etc? 5. Don't argue with clients online. It never helps your business. Answer their questions honestly and truthfully and they'll do business with you. Cheers. |
Their life, their business. I have passed the level of giving unsolicited advice to grown up men who don't have the commonsense to put their family and business affairs in order. |
Michellla:... God for us all. |
hanassholesolo:Sure, I'll do so. |
I personally know this guy. He is usually seated on the floor in front of Access Bank opposite the entrance gate of Lagos State Secretariat Alausa. The first time I met him, I was walking by and casually dropped N500 for him. This guy called me back. At first, I was hesitant but I was touched when he started praying for me with tears in his eyes. I thought he was only crippled but I didn't know that he had this serious internal problem until I saw him online. Guys, if you can, please drop something on the Gofundme account of this boy. I'll sure drop something too and see of I can locate him at his spot this week. If I do, I'll edit this post and add pictures here on Nairaland. |
taoheedoriloye:Unfortunately, you're a nonentity and your opinion doesn't count in this matter. They're all grown men who are behaving like boys. Twins fighting on social media and disgracing themselves. |
The mistake most people make are that they focus on the wedding and ignore the marriage. Have you noticed that Deeper Life couples have one of the lowest rates of divorce in Nigeria? To each his own, but Deeper Life has a formula that is sure working well for its members. |
thotianna:As a married woman, you should learn to mind your business and tend to matters that concern you. If you must talk, it's important you exercise restraint over your tongue and process your words before you spit them out. You should consider the actual meaning, the intended meaning and the connoted meaning.
|
soberdrunk:No one can tell your story better than you. Go and find out how the billions that blue chip companies in Nigeria spend on Ads. Meanwhile, their annual budgets are not up to the IGR of Lagos in a quarter. |
Jeez! I know this guy begging. He's always in front of Access Bank opposite the entrance gate of Lagos State Secretariat Alausa. I know he's crippled but didn't know he had such internal health complications. There was a day I passed there and gave him N500 while walking by, he called me back and prayed for me for some mins with tears in his eyes. Damn! That's a how they would have wasted this guy? |
