I have been privilege to work with some Nigerian banks and essentially they fall into 2 major categories. 1; Wise and Non-Complacent and 2; Unwise and Complacent.

1. Wise and Non-Complacent. The are banks that got it right from the onset or who have failed and learnt their lessons. E.g GTBank, Access and Wema, Union etc.

2. Unwise and Complacent. These are reckless banks who are still dwelling on past glory. They have gone through troubled time and have not learnt their lessons e.g Firstbank, Heritage, Ecobank etc.

Be wise with your deposits. Wonder why First Bank introduce so many Illegal charges? It might just be the next to go burst. Thank me later.

First Bank is in serious financial troubles. They have some really bad dollar loans which they gave out to players in the Energy industry. Unfortunately, the fall in oil prices and rise of the dollar has made the borrowers unable to repay the loans.

The Governor came close to the shanty, the shanty did not come close to the Governor. The Governor should have made provisions for resettling those in the shanties. By the way, it's Udom's private house and not an official structure.

There is no point exposing your primordial sentiments on issues like this. The account was opened in the name of his company, but he isn't a signatory to it. Something like opening an account in the name of Forte Oil, but the signatories are some fraudsters using the name of the company. It's a bit similar to what Oduah did.

When someone steals your item and gifts it out to a third person, won't the third person be arrested to explain how he came into possession of the stolen item? You're entitled to six months notice since you're a yearly tenant and you definitely have a valid ground to take legal action.
