Crime › Re: Police Arraign 2 For Stealing $14 Million From Church by MrMcJay(m): 5:41pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
Adesiji77: Mustapha alleged that the accused conspired, as signatories to the bank account of West African Christian mission, to steal 14 million dollars.
He said that the offences contravened Sections 390 (cool (b) and 516 of the Criminal Code Vol.1, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The magistrate adjourned the case till May 20 for hearing. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/police-arraign-2-stealing-14-million-church/ The Federal Government should immediately amend the Companies and Allied Matters Act. All monies paid to these religious bodies are termed as gifts under the law and they are not taxable even if used to buy luxuries which have no bearing on the purpose these bodies were set up, Churches, Mosques, Shrines, Temples and all religious bodies should be taxed a minimum of 40% of 'gifts' received. |

Which good things? Like stealing is not corruption? The more prosperity preachers we have, the higher indices of poverty in Nigeria. Tell it as it is. |

paxonel: But he is wrong by saying they will go to hell fire! Or else, why did Jesus came to die? Do you know that there is nobody who do not commit sin, including kumuyi himself? 1John 1:8 If you neglect the salvation that Jesus offers, you're doomed. If you accept Jesus and later turn back from Jesus into your sins, you're doomed. For those who say once you accept Jesus, grace covers your subsequent sins; I hope it's alright if I kill ur pastor or sleep with his wife as grace covers my sins too? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Hell Will Be Hotter For Deeper Life Sinners - W.F. Kumuyi by MrMcJay(m): 12:07pm On Apr 24, 2016 |
paxonel: This approach of getting people repent by threatening hell do not go well at all. Do you know how long this man has been threatening hell in that church? Since 30 years ago, yet the sin is increasing. This shows that threats do no good but even more harm. Threats make people to become dumb and mumu. Why not educate the church members how to go about stop commiting sin rather than showering threats of hotter hell? He can only lead you to the path of salvation and not stop you from committing sin. Avoidance of sin is a personal decision between each human and his creator and no man can take the place of the creator. |

TheDevilIsALai: The motor bikes and trucks utilised by Boko Haram run on PMS.
If they had diesel trucks I may believe this but converting vegetable oil to fuel to power petrol engines is near impossible.
This is a fat lie from the lying bastards
The spark plugs in petrol engines can not ignite the vegetable fuel. Only diesel engines are adapted to utilising less inflamable and high viscous solvents by compressing and igniting the fuel under high air pressures
Again the Nigerian Army shows how daft they are at making a simple lie. Mechanic, learn to use your eyes and brain when reading. The claim was made by a woman and not the Nigerian Army. Don't drag the NA into it. |

Properties › Re: What Age Should Owning A House Become A Priority? by MrMcJay(m): 7:36pm On Apr 19, 2016 |
MRBrownJ: owning a home should ONLY be a priority if A) this is what you desire for your life or B) you have the MEANS to afford the house you DESIRE, where you desire it.
so many clueless people buy cheap homes in RUBBISH area, just because they want to own a house... and in turn, they are miserable as soon as they set foot in. if buying a home isnt beneficial to you 110%, then you shouldnt dream of buying it. This line of thought is what a lot of people are ignorant of. I'll prefer to live in a flat on the Island than to own a Duplex in a place like Ikorodu. FYI, the road between Bourdillon road and Gerrard Road both in Ikoyi is 2 lanes on each side. The road between Ketu to Ikorodu is also 2 lanes on each side, This is irrespective of the fact that the population in Ikorodu is about 1000 times the number of those in Ikoyi. If you seek affordable options, there are many estates after Ajah on the way to the new Lekki FTZ where the government is building 12-lane highways. People don't understand that it's not only about building a house, the environment matters. There is no point hurrying to build in a slum when you can wait, save, strategize and make proper real estate investments. It's not how far but how well. |

Buhari is Nigeria's President.
There is presently fuel scarcity within Nigeria.
If he travels within Nigeria by road, he has to join the queue for fuel.
He decides to continue travelling outside Nigeria by air.
Buhari is smart.
