I was forced to get a US PayPal account about 2 years ago because of making payment on PayPal from Nigeria

Now, PayPal is requesting I update my debit card. It seems they want it to match the name of the person on the account.

I need a virtual card provider that is PayPal compliant and will permit me register a virtual card in a name and address of my choice.

I still have some dollars in the account and I can't afford it to go to waste. Once I have spent the money in the account. I can even close the account.

Please help me guys. It is very urgent.

Any Fintech company that provides virtual debit cards also provides bank account. Meaning KYC is a must, and you cannot just create account with names without verification using official documents.

Luckily, PayPal accepts a few virtual dollar cards from Nigeria without request for name match. However, there is a possibility you may not still get your money out of the account even after adding the debit card. That is because PayPal is country-specific. Even if you use the best proxy, VPN or RDP, PayPal will still find out your real location and block any account used outside its specific country.

Even USA citizens, residents and businesses also have their USA PayPal accounts disabled once they use the accounts outside the USA locations without pre-notice to PayPal company. Thousands of dollars are lost yearly my Nigerians using foreign PayPal accounts.

My advice is, stay away from foreign PayPal accounts. If you need a PayPal account to make payment from Nigeria, open a Nigerian Paypal account. If your freelancing business is legit, there are other accounts you can use to receive payment in Nigeria without stress. And if you must use a foreign PayPal account to receive payments, have a trusted partner to manage the account in that foreign location.

I wouldn't recommend research on trademark conflicts. This is because Trademark conflict is based on industry and country.

For example, if a name is already Trademarked in the Clothing category, it is possible that the same name can be used by a Food brand. We do not know which industry and country will the buyer be using the domain name. Besides, if the domain name is sold, trademark responsibility is on the buyer.

N/B: If you must go for already Trademarked domain name, avoid the popular ones (Apple, Facebook, Whatsapp, Fiverr, Google etc), because nobody will buy a domain name with such keywords. And if you already have a Trademarked domain, and the marketplaces like Afternic accept to list it for sale, don't contact the companies that already have trademark of your domain name directly.

This is my opinion, though, and I stand corrected by the bosses here.
