tosyne2much:Chineke |
MissCuppy:Everything about women get K-leg. If you don't tell them, they will go and thread with the only capital they have inbetween their legs |
Rays123:In addition, please do know that it is only the Z. I that have the power to post you in another local government. Please, thread carefully |
Rays123:Influence the schedule officer in your local government to reject you. Please do know that FCE has no accommodation but pay N5k. |
Harrytimbog:Wao, that's really nice.But you have graduated right? |
Harrytimbog:You are correct. Meteorology is an area of specialization in physics. I did four courses under that specialization. These four courses were devoted to the study. I didn't really like it because it does not involve so much calculations. It's more of stories. Lol. Which school offer Meteorology and climate science as a single course? |
Harrytimbog:Knowledge is knowledge and there have a source most times. When physicists realized the interest of geographers in the lower atmosphere, they literally left it to study the higher atmosphere. This study led to the discovery of the ionosphere and the study of this atmosphere is called ionospheric physics. Physicists have more knowledge backed up with facts about the atmosphere more than what geography teaches. They go deeper into the cause of such weather conditions. Notwithstanding physics has lesser interests in this region already being struggled for by geographers |
PastorSeun:Yes, you are correct. |
gensteejay:Lol. Yeah, I'm a freelance writer and physics and astronomy graduate. |
gensteejay:I must commend you for your logical argument. I learned a lot from the facts and figures you put there. That of rainfall was carefully researched before putting it up there. |
ikp120:Majority of the things you learn about weather in geography came from physics research. The study of the lower atmosphere called Meteorology teaches a whole lot about weather that you might not know. Someone has already told you that they are both geography and even more of physics. This is because the mathematical aspect of them have been sieved way from geography students |
IamaNigerianGuy:Is this not noise? You have not refuted anything I put forward in the article and you are just saying anything. Please there is something called constructive argument. qensteejay did that and I commend him for that, he came with facts and figures. That is how scientist argue and not just making philosophical inference. |
gensteejay:Thanks. Though that of raifall occurs every second. |
Butterworth:Lol. There is no need to join words with you. |
mrphysics:Lalasticlala, this is rainy season, this is important. This is needed, if we must grow. We should not allow the use of mysticism to explain science facts. Research is on going and the results of such research should be spread. seun, I think so. |
Lalasticlala, seun |
beycity:mkmyers45, UjSizzle, Lalasticlala (I just killed a huge python under rain), Seun (come and eat a snake soup killed under rain) We rarely see post from the science section making front page. I think this deserve a front page. Lalasticlala, we must always orient people on science and it's knowledge. |
SS 1 Students? Modified: There is a need for sex education in our secondary schools. Allowing these student's learn about sex on their own is very dangerous to our culture and value. The cyber space is being filled with rubbish and the vast majority of Nigerians are on the internet. Reading and watching Porn. We need to start sensitization. And what our youth could do on nairaland is fight against broke guys. It all begins with me. Say no to rape. |
There is one unique characteristic nature of our atmosphere - it's dynamic nature. Predicting it requires deep research, yet not all predictions turn out to be true. The earth's atmosphere is being controlled by an atmospheric term called El-Nino. It helps us to understand the universe. The beauty of Physics and Meteorology is best enjoyed when you try to understand some things about you. The truth is that God is a Physicist and thus did not create this world in such a confusing model. This earth was made through certain laws, thus understanding those laws will give you a deep understanding of the earth and the universe. Here are 7 new fun facts about the rainfall you do not know. As you read, may you open up your mind to appreciate the universe in its form? Happy reading. 1. It can be raining on one street, and the next would be sunny: This is not an unusual occurrence to so many persons, yet it has left people wondering what could have caused it. In understanding this phenomenon, it is important to remember that the earth's atmosphere is dynamic. Rainfall must start from a place before moving to another place. Thus, it is very possible to start from Street M and move away without falling on an opposite street X. SO do not be confused when next it happens. 2. It is raining every second somewhere on earth surface: There are things that must be occurring every second on earth. Among them include sex (someone must be doing this somewhere every second of the 24 daily hours), childbirth (A child is being delivered in every second of the day. Rainfall is a phenomenon that occurs simultaneously on a daily basis. Thus, as you read this now, just know that it is raining somewhere on earth. This is not unconnected with the shape and movement of the earth. 3. The Antarctica gets lesser rainfall than the desserts: This is true though most of us are not aware of this. Though you might see the Antarctica as a place being covered with mostly ice, the truth remains that it is the place with the lowest amount of rainfall every year. The deserts receive more rainfall than the Antarctica. Witnessing only 6.5 inches of rain every year, this place remains the place with the lowest amount of rainfall. 4. The majority of falling rainfalls do not get to the ground: The physics of the lower atmosphere shows us that the earth’s atmosphere consists of warm air layers. Thus, as the rain comes down, more than 56% of them gets evaporated back to the atmosphere. Yes, just believe it, it is true. Another obstacle to the rain droplets is trees that get this rainfall recycled back to the atmosphere. Thus we receive on the surface of the earth less than half of the volume of rainwater leaving the earth troposphere. 5. Rain doesn’t make the ground wet: This is weird because the earth’s surface receives a few quantity of rainfall, the ground is not being made wet by the falling rain. The majority of the wetness the earth receives is mainly because the surface of the earth is composed of warm air. Warm air is light and does not move up except when a dense cold air forces them to move up. .6 Not all droplets of rainfall are made of water: Though this might not frequently occur in earth’s atmosphere. But on Venus and other planets that the atmosphere are made of other molecules, then most rain droplets are made of sulfuric acid or methane, though it depends on water saturates the atmosphere of such body. For instance, when the earth experiences acid rain, then falling droplets are not composed of water. 7. To go out of rain dry, then you must do something: If you are on the road when it starts to rain, it is possible to go out of the rain without being much wet. All you need to do is to run, run, and run. Isn't it interesting and fun to study Physics? They are not meant to be understood. See how all of them on nairaland are always claiming what they are not. Trying to understand them is like looking for the answer of the question, 1/0 = ? |
sparkle4u:Welcome. Happy service year ahead. |
sparkle4u:Very simple movement. Stop in Enugu and take a bus from peace to Afikpo. |
zamanii:Welcome sir. Do have a nice service year and I wish you the best. In kano, they do have this land issues, so I would advice that you constantly visit court and seek to help out. With your fluency in the host language, you do stand a better position to earn huge in Kano. If not, i think you should consider doing some freelance work. I have a friend who is a lawyer serving in Kano State ministry of Justice. And I think he is doing well. |
zamanii:70-80 depending on the location. Secondly, we know where the advantage will go to, bros, Just take the ride easy oooo. |
Rays123:Secondary Schools. |
zamanii:Lawyers are given different attention. You guys case is different. So I wouldn't know who will help to get you there since you might be very few in the camp. Secondly, not like there was much love, I was writing a story, and needed to go deep even into issues of getting married to one. I want to know their culture, what is required to get a wife and how their ladies truly behave regarding marriage. If you are educated, speaks fluently in English and Hausa, then you will get the most beautiful girl. Though almost all of them are pretty. Everything I did was because of my story. I didn't have much emotional commitment. |
zamanii:Lawyers are posted to ministry of Justice where they do nothing as usual. There is no case to settle save Emir Sanusi's case. Lol. You can also be attached to the legal unit of a local government, depending on the request for core members. Generally, ministry of justice is your best bet. Secondly, the Hausa girl agreed, and even got to the point of trying to marry her because she was focused on marriage. I was a graduate assistant in Kano State Polytechnic, and I taught over 300 students. Well respected and perhaps known, I got so many green lights but I focused on her. So she insisted that I must meet her parents and before I do, I MUST be in same religion with them. So, and it's not possible. So I had to leave her in Kano with the love too as I head back to Enugu. Also, we couldn't meet elsewhere save in school, because only the parents could give me the right to their house, and before they do, I must first answer the question, "Which religion". I wanted to form Muslim, but then, they might ask me to pray, and to recite some certain Quran, or even perform ablustion. After due considerations, I realized it wasn't enough to change religion or to get into........ So I gave up and left. |
