I hope you guys are doing great.

It seems I might be interning in Belgium. I have never liked to travel, given the choice and options, I would prefer doing my internship here in France. Wishes are not horses, though I hope something good happens. But from the outlook, I think we might be getting pictures of Belgium sometime in the future. Of course, this depends on the Covid situation.

I made an application to a nuclear institution and they contacted me. They requested for the contact of my programme manager who recommended me. It wasn't easy but after the interview, they proposed a topic which is a priority to them at the moment.

But it's interesting because the topic I might be working on is something that interests me. Yes, I am most passionate about neutronics and reactor Physics. A quite general topic that actually anyone can read and learn online.

Thanks bro. Unfortunately, the country is not yet ready for research. While sending some applications to South Africa yesterday, I wept. I mean, we should not be in such position where we are not competing at all. There's no field that we can say we are competing.

Funds are not given for research and the ones made available is shared/looted. Finding internship in the nuclear area here is hell of a stress, all my classmates are complaining. Those from China are looking back home. You can thus imagine what getting a job in this field would be like.

It's not even about them, but remembering that our country is literally doing nothing, the ones they are doing are not funded for advancement. Let me stop ranting. Lol.

We are hopeful though.

Some of my classmates who have gotten internship got outside France. If our country is good, one would be considering home. But No, that should be a no option or say last option.

Thank God the 18 months academic activities is gradually coming to an end. We will officially end it on February 10th. A journey you have all been part of. The next hurdle now is internship. Currently, getting internship has proven difficult. Everything academics seems to be difficult in France. Lol.
However, I am not losing faith. Will keep applying.

So if you have any link to internship in Nuclear Engineering, let me know. Being the kind of industry it is, we know it can be difficult as most companies would prioritize their citizens first. However, I am open to laboratories or companies anywhere.

I will continue posting the pictures I took in Switzerland next month. I do hope to have gotten internship by then. It's crazy. Lol.

It is sad that with over 1k pages, some people still believe there's a magic to Fiverr. I have read some post above on how people are not disclosing their selling strategy or hack. This is about to push some people to the waiting hands of scammers. I just visited the link posted above and the person charges $250. Why pay such amount when you have not started earning? Why pay to learn something that have been discussed over and over again on this thread.

Well, we should tone down what we post, I am beginning to sense what can be said to be hatred. Perhaps, the reason no one post earnings. In the past, it is done to encourage beginner and also to tell them that Fiverr still pay though it may be more difficult now but people still earn from Fiverr.

If you are looking for a hack, I don't know anyone. I don't have constant orders. Most of my recent earnings come from old clients and nothing more. And yes, ranking is very important and I don't know how it's done honestly because my gig is not in the first 5 pages, yet I have many reviews.

We should please calm down. Beginners should try different services and see the one that works much better. For instance, Business Writing, Technical Writing are new ways to get started immediately as a new writer.

It depends. If you are just starting, it's not advisable to limit your order intake. Find a way to increase your review. Outsource your job. They are freelancers who are just getting started. Find them, outsource the job to them.

In all you do, know that Freelancers are part of the saviours of the economy. You bring money from US or Europe to the country, unlike those that send our money out via import. Don't reject the offers.

Lastly, if they contact you before placing their order, let them know that you will need extension or prolonged delivery time. Send them a custom offer with an extended delivery time. For quality work, most of them are usually patient.

You don't have to fear anything as far as the client will still come back to order from you on fiverr.

I strongly do not support this. Guys should try as much as possible to avoid this. He might be the only exception to this, don't do what will get your account banned.

Avoid their problems. Earn the little you can, but make sure your accounts are up and selling.

There are times when I have no order at all but because my gigs are up there, I know that one day, I will receive orders. You can earn whatever you want but if you don't have the hope of earning money tomorrow, you will return to ground zero. My earning this month came from one new buyer and an old seller. One ordered $450 and the other made a purchase of $550 (and gave me a tip of $89 upon completion of the order). I got few other jobs too. However, these were possible because my account is active. I can't bank on what I have earned in the past to disobey Fiverr rules. The hope of earning tomorrow is the only true hope.

All my stats are green. I have maintained Level 2 throughout this year, never been demoted since this year to the best of my knowledge. I haven't received anything below 5 stars since this year, can't even remember the last time I received lower rating. So what is delaying my Top Rated Status?

For me, it's been a tough year (for everyone), Fiverr sales decreased. Monthly earning wasn't stable. I was forced to start looking for other source of income. Lol. I haven't seen anyway other than investing in forex traders which could varnish anytime.

I pray 2021 rewards us handsomely.. Amen.

The streets are empty. Is it that the population is not much or the people prefer to stay indoor.

I will rather agree with the former. A city with a population of about 200k people. Meaning that my city Nantes is more populous than Geneva. While Geneva will be ranked above Nantes in terms of everything.

Like I said, I was expecting more. I wasn't impressed or wowed. So you observation is in order. However, this is just a little part of a country and Geneva is not even the Capital.

What makes it more expensive than Paris, etc is what I don't know. Because from the look of things, everything seem to be France. In my mind, I just called it France extension. Nothing more.

After walking round the area and on the streets of Geneva, I decided to take a trip inside the city.

I took same Tram from the terminus at one end "Nations" to the other end "Palette" or something like that. So I took the following random pictures.

At some stops, I came down, took a walk on the street, I have always dreamed of walking the streets of London, but not as a common man but as someone else, maybe someone in one big position. May God make it happen anyway. So I experimented that walk in Geneva. Lol

So let's go. You can actually visualize yourself walking on these streets, its awesome anyway.
