Cc DisGuy, justwise can we got to front page again?
More from Louvre Museum
So we got inside
More
Next, we headed to Louvre Museum. It's large with an underground paid museum ![]() Pics 1, 2, and 3 are entrance to Louvre Museum and view of Paris from the entrance
I took the last picture as I left the cathedral with in a sad mood
Suddenly, I was before the Notre Dame Cathedral with hundreds of other tourists and visitors taking pictures and viewing the building being renovated.
I won't say I was happy, ofcourse not, I wasn't because I prepared to see the glory of the structure only for me to see it locked and being rebuilt. Hundreds of workers, caterpillars, etc were inside working and trying their best to return the cathedral back to its original glory. So, I didn't take much pictures before we left
The river behind serves as a resting place or romantic environment for lovers. So we met alot of couples and lovebirds who took a space to enjoy the company of each other. Cc DisGuy, justwise please repush to frontpage for the Sunday viewing pleasure of Nairalanders. Cc Richdee1

As we got closer to the cathedral, we beheld the gigantic building. I think the cathedral in Nantes took same design as Notre Dame. Unfortunately, the building is being renovated after the fire incident that occurred last year. We went in from behind, through the river that passed directly behind the cathedral. Let picture speak. Picture 1&2 is the view as we got closer Cc DisGuy, justwise please repush to frontpage for the Sunday viewing pleasure of Nairalanders.

We took the Metro to Cathedral Notre Dame. Pics 1 is the underground metro station. Pics 2 is the street leading to Notre Dame, coming from the back of the cathedral

Hi Guys, I am sorry for missing yesterday's update. I visited a family and wasn't able to make an update. Happy Sunday to everyone. Let's get this started. |

After seeing that everything looks beautiful, we decided to leave (we obviously don't have any option). However, I didn't leave without some pictures of the exit surrounding. With these pictures, PSG stadium shouldn't be a new thing to us again. Now, lets converge here tomorrow for the next place on the list of places I visited. Good night. You can drop your comments if you want. Lol
The immediate surrounding, facing the stadium
Now, this is the main face of the stadium but not the main entrance to the stadium. The main entrance is the Gate A and B. This is just the face of the stadium and the way for players and VIPs. Last picture: Same way we came for a tour, others also came for same purpose. ![]()
Still moving round the stadium I told you you don't need to bother visiting here except you want to watch live match ![]() I meant it when I said it, and you will soon agree with me. ![]()
Moving round the stadium. The other structure is their boutique. The place they collect more money from you aside your ticket money. On the other hand, I noticed I have become more real to my being broke. I think it's this way because here, being broke is not a dead sentence. People will first go towards the path of most cheap when making purchase. No one spends to show rather make planned budget because everyone realizes that making money isn't easy. Thus, I have learned to drop the ego of not owning up to the unavailability of anything I don't have. Without you even asking, I am quick to tell you why I didn't do anything or have anything. The answer is simple, I don't have money.
I went round, taking pictures including private ones for personal consumption. Picture 1 &2: The entrance to the stadium. Gate 1&2 or A & B
As I got closer, the solid structure was standing tall and huge. I have always dreamed of visiting this stadium. Turns out there nothing special. The only thing special in anywhere you haven't been is the distance. Because, the places you dream to be or go to, they are people who live there or see it as a common place. The solution to overcoming this distance becomes complicated because you'd not only need a Visa, you will also need a good amount of money to overcome this distance and bring yourself closer to this common place that people pass on daily basis.
There's a bypass or tunnel very close to the stadium, passing very close to the stadium.
As you get closer, the look changes (Obviously )
Paris Saint-German. This was the first place I visited. If you have not visited this stadium, I doubt there's any need to tour it since I got the entire image except the inside. Let me save you the story. 1 & 2: How the stadium looks if you are approaching it from behind towards Gate/Entrance A,B,C
So the tour began. I visited 4 places. But I have forgotten the name of one (its actually a museum). I visited these places and I will be sharing their pictures in this order 1. PSG Stadium 2. Notre Dame Cathedral 3. Museum 4. Eifel Tower For obvious reasons, I couldn't go into PSG stadium because its closed due to Covid-19. Also, because of the repairs going on in Notre Dame, I wasn't able to tour it very well. So pardon the pictures from these places. So lets get started. |
For the next batch of PTDF scholars, enjoy the view of IFP school
Becoming a scholar is more than just studying, its like family of people with like minds. Though I don't know how to make new friends, for those that make me their friends, I understand perfectly how to be a friend to people. Thanks to Ken for having me. And also IFP school. This is IFP school
So, in other to save cost, and maximize my experience in Paris, I had to stay with a scholar in Paris. In La Defense, I took a bus (258) going to IFP school. The transport system in Paris is so simple that once you know how to read, write, and follow google map directions or the various direction apps such as (Moovit, mappy, etc) finding your way to any location in Paris or France will be as simple as ABCD. So this is the street of IFP school in Bois Preau stop.
Hi Guys, Let's continue with the story. Who is ready for it? |
Gavrelino123:@ the emboldened Cost of Living: Obviously Bourgogne Easy Integration: Bourgogne Students jobs: If it exists in France, then it must be Paris. However, I think it goes beyond these. You have an M2 and M1 program, these should be a major deciding factors. The two programs coupled with the factors you listed should be considered. |
stsparrow:Are they obligatory documents to upload? Because while applying, you will be asked to select if you already have a housing or not. It is important to note that Visale is for housing/accommodation guarantee. I applied last week, and already got the Visale. I can't remember exactly if I uploaded any attestation of residence. I have it but don't know if I uploaded one. Since you don't have student's card, you can upload your admission letter. Also, residence permit for now should be the Visa. If you don't have one yet, then you might have to hold on with the application. When you get to France for instance without the Visale, your accommodation key can be given to you, however, they won't issue you the attestation of residence without Visale. thanks. |
Finally. So tomorrow, I hope to visit Eifel tower, Notre Dame and PSG Stadium. I hope I am able to visit all of these places between tomorrow and next. Good night
