THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTION.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points
1. Any evil spirit working against God's prosperity in my life; come under the judgment of God, in Jesus' name.

2. O God, put my case in the mouth of our G. O., and as he mentions it, let heaven back it up in Jesus' name.

3. O God I pray: Let the spirit of obedience through the messages of salvation from the altar of The Lord's Chosen, possess me, in Jesus' name.

4. Father, give our G. O and our mummy in the Lord the full concentration to follow you with all obedience. Uproot every distraction and discouragement targeted against them, in Jesus' name.

They felt it hindered them from being the drug or immoral kingpin they desired. So their only solution was to kill the conscience. And because this tortured conscience has not totally died, they battle it on Nairaland Religous section everyday.

Christianity Etc › What Are The Rewards That Saints Will Receive In The Bema Seat Of Judgement by MrPRevailer(op): 3:59pm On Oct 17, 2016
What are the rewards that believers will receive at the Judgment Seat of Christ?

Believers --all of the Church Age who appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ-- will receive the following rewards, depending upon how they have lived their lives while on earth. Some will lose rewards if they have lived in disobedience; others will gain rewards if they have lived in obedience.

This judgment will not be a judgment for sin. Everyone who appears at this Judgment Seat will be saved. Jesus took all sin upon himself on the cross, past, present and future. The Bible mentions at least five rewards:

The Incorruptible Crown - given to those who master the old nature (1 Cor. 9:25-27). smiley
The Crown of Rejoicing - given to soul winners (Prov. 11:30, Dan. 12:3, 1 Thess. 2:19-20). cheesy
The Crown of Life - given to those who successfully endure temptation (Jas. 1:2-3, Rev. 2:10). cheesy
The Crown of Righteousness - for those who especially love the doctrine of the rapture (2 Tim. 4:8 ). cool
The Crown of Glory - given to faithful preachers and teachers (Acts 20:26-28, 1 Pet. 5:2-4). grin

I won't tell lies, when it comes to offering time, I quickly run away.

Not that I don't have the money, but I rather give it to that beggar who always come to the church at the close of service.
It means you don't trust your pastor or you are not seeing a tangible use of the money.

Then come offer in The Lord's Chosen Ministry, a fertile ground.

WARNING. Giving your money to the poor is not an offering. It's called alm-giving or Charity. You are not keeping the law of Malachi 6:18 of offering and Tithing.

'Bring all your tithes and offering so that there will be meat in my house'.

Look for a church where you perceive the presence of God and offer there. Many churches are dead and worldly. But there are a few living churches around.
Christianity Etc › Re: Do You Go To Church When You Have No Money For Offering? by MrPRevailer(m): 11:58pm On Oct 16, 2016
'Do not forsake the gathering of the saint's as some people do'. Hebrews 10:25.

Offering should not stop u from going to church. But know that giving is God's principle to blessings/protection in life so learn to give. God loves a cheerful giver. if you dont have anything, give #20 or just humbly pray to God that you will certainly offer next time.

He that Soweto sparingly shall reap sparingly and he that soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully. 1 Corinthians.

Good Morning my fellow Nairalanders.

I believe my calling on earth is to assist anyone around me, in every little way I can. I do support beggars, support my friends, support my family members.

My question today is this "what if I use my Tithes and Offerings to help those in need"

Will God be angry with me? Will the cursed for not paying titles follow me?

Advise please, forgive me for the poor write up.
My dear, God requires your 10% to be given in the church. From all circumstances in Bible, the tenth of blessings was given to the priests only/in the temple of God. Don't let anybody ever deceive u concerning this. A genuine man of God can never use your money for personal gratification but for sponsorship of the church's vision.

If u feel your pastor will eat your tithe, it means u don't trust him. Then why u still there? Go out and find a holy church.

I go to The Lord's Chosen Ministry.

''Bring you aaaalllll the tithe and offering so that there will be meat in my house'' Malachi 3

You must give your tithe and offering to God. Giving to the poor is not offering. It's called Charity or alms-giving.

If a church is so rich and you perceive that its not channelling the wealth to save souls and spread gospel of salvation, what you can do is look for a good righteous church you perceive God's presence and offer there.

Am kinda surprised that things like Buhari's Kitchen comments and Dss raid on Judges are what have been grabbing the headlines recently while a full-frontal attack is being waged on the Shia minority in the North. I really am bothered by the development and it's not just because it could escalate to something of more dire consequences.
Firstly, the fact that a sitting Governor could declare an entire religion illegal is disturbing. Many people may argue that Shia Islam is not 'real Islam' or whatever but that's only because they are in the minority here. I do not claim erudition in Islam nor profess to be a scholar but Shia Islam is a part of Islam practiced by millions. Therefore, to wake up one morning and declare the religion illegal just because their ways and doctrines are unacceptable by some sects is disturbing. It really makes me fear for the future of Christians/Traditionalist/Irreligious in this Country.
Secondly, the recent killings and the general response from the Authorities show me that we may just have passed our point of no return. You even hear reports of how Security agents accompanied Fanatics to carry out this pogrom.
The Northern Muslim leaders since the start of the millennia have shifted from more tolerant ways to Wahhabist, puritan ideologies which has only propagated radicalism among ignorant, uneducated youths. I really do fear for the future.

Christianity Etc › What Exactly Will Be "Judged" At The Bema Seat For Christians? by MrPRevailer(op): 11:54pm On Oct 15, 2016
Dr. H.L. Wilmington has done a good job of gleaning the truth about the things upon which Christians will be examined at the Judgment Seat of Christ. They are as follows:

1) How we treat other believers (Heb. 6:10, Matt. 10:41-42).

2) How we exercise our authority over others (Heb. 13:17, Jas. 3:1).

3) How we employ our God-given abilities (1 Cor. 12: 4, 12, 2 Tim. 1:6, 1 Pet. 4:10). Add to these Scriptures Jesus' teaching of the parables of the ten pounds (Lk. 19: 11-26) and the talents (Matt. 25:14-29). Each believer has at least one talent (1 Cor. 7:12, Eph. 4:7, 1 Pet. 4:10). There are 18 of these gifts (Rom. 12, 1 Cor. 12, Eph. 4). It's up to each believer to find/discern his or her gifts.

4) How we use our money (1 Cor. 60:2, 2 Cor. 9:6-7, 1 Tim. 6:17-19).

5) How we spend our time (Psa. 90:12, Eph. 5:16, Col. 4:5, 1 Pet. 1:17).

6) How much we suffer for Jesus (Matt. 5:11-12, Mk. 10:29-30, Rom. 8:18, 2 Cor. 4:17, 1 Pet. 4:12-13).

7) How we run that particular race God has chosen for us (1 Cor. 9:24, Phil. 2:16, 3:13-14, Heb. 12:1).

8.) How effectively we control the old nature (1 Cor. 9:25-27, 2 Tim. 2:15, 1 Cor. 16:3, Phil. 1:10, 1 Thess. 2:4).

9) How many souls we witness to and win to Christ (Prov. 11:30, Dan. 12:3, 1 Thess. 2:19-20).

10) How we react to temptation (Jas. 1:2-3, Rev. 3:10).

11) How much the doctrine of the rapture means to us (2 Tim. 4:88).

12) How faithful we are to the Word of God and the flock of God (Acts 20:26-28, 2 Tim. 4:1-2, 1 Peter 5:2-4).

In Ezekiel 38:4 below God is talking to the leader of Turkey.

Eze 38:4-5 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

I am convinced that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the modern day fulfillment of Magog the primary leader of the land of Turkey described in Ezekiel chapter 38. So I expect the battle of Gog and Magog to happen soon! Turkey may destroy Damascus. Turkey may also then lead a Middle Eastern invasion into Israel. It is High Time to Awake and watch!

Christianity Etc › Re: THE LAST DAYS: Damascus Syria Destruction Bible Prophecy Fulfilling. by MrPRevailer(op): 10:57pm On Oct 15, 2016
Jer 49:24-27 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! 26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. 27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

Note: Benhadad is the title of several Syrian kings who ruled in Damascus (1 Kings 15:18).
In Jeremiah 49:27 (above) God will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus. To “kindle a fire” means that God will send an army to invade Damascus. Turkish troops are lined up along the Syrian border. Tensions are heating up between the Syrian and Turkish armies. I think that God may be sending the Turkish army against Damascus.

The Prophet Amos also condemns Damascus. This prophecy was fulfilled when Tiglath-pileser the Assyrian king conquered Damascus in 734 B.C. and carried the Syrian (Aramean) captives away to Kir a mountainous region in western Jordan. However, like many bible prophecies this may also refer to a current event. Today the region of Kir in Jordan is called Kerak. There are about one half million Syrian refugees in Kerak today. This is further evidence that the destruction of Damascus as described in the bible is imminent. It is also evidence that the God of Israel is the one true God and that we all had better heed his word and we had also better humble ourselves before him while there is still time! In verse 5 the plain of Aven is a valley in the northeast part of Lebanon near the Syrian border. Today it is called the Bekaa valley. It has been suggested that Saddam Hussein hid WMD’s here before the US invasion of Iraq.

Amos 1:3-5 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: 4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. 5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

Talk of a military conflict between Israel and Iran is also on the rise. In Ezekiel chapter 38 a Turkish led invasion into Israel is described. Turkey is Joined by Iran, Ethiopia/Sudan (The original Hebrew word Cush more accurately describes Sudan), and Libya. It may be that shortly after the destruction of Damascus a Middle East invasion into Israel will occur.

The destruction of Damascus Syria is the next event to look for on the prophetic calendar. The city of Damascus, Syria may soon be destroyed as Isaiah 17:1 and Jeremiah 49:24-27 predicts.

Damascus is the capital of Syria and its second largest city, with about 2.6 million people in the metropolitan area. Today Syria is in the midst of a battle for its sovereignty. There is a movement to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad. While most Syrians support the more westernized Assad, Islamist factions led by the Muslim Brotherhood are fighting for control of the country. Today foreign jihadists are fighting the Syrian army near the city of Damascus.

Damascus has already suffered some damage, but according to Isaiah 17: 1 Damascus will be taken away from being a city. Today, fighting in Damascus is on the rise.

World governments are scrambling. The UN and US leadership want Syrian President Assad gone. The CIA has been smuggling weapons to the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria as well as providing flour and funding. Russia and Iran want Assad to stay. The US is pushing for Middle Eastern led military action. The US, UN, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and other world powers are pushing for an escalation of force to oust the Syrian President. In July 2015 NATO gave its approval for the Turkish Army to enter Syria.

Up until now Turkey had hoped that the Rebels would eventually overtake the Syrian army. The key to victory is to capture of the seat of power in Damascus. However, rebel fighters say that they do not have the military might to take Damascus. In July 2015 Turkey deployed 54,000 troops and heavy artillery along the Syrian border. NATO has deployed several Patriot missile batteries as well. The missiles are manned by 400 US soldiers. It looks like foreign military force will be brought to bear soon.

In Isaiah 17 the city of Damascus is prophesied to be destroyed. Damascus was conquered once already when Assyria invaded Syria and northern Israel in 734 B.C. However, the bible predicts its complete destruction. Bible prophecy often represents two similar events usually separated by time. Conditions are ripe for a present day destruction of Damascus.

Isa 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

Jeremiah chapter 49 below suggests that Damascus (metro population 2.6 million) will turn to flee. Today many Syrians have already fled the fighting; seeking refuge in Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and other regional countries. There are currently almost 4,000,000 Syrian refugees in surrounding countries. Over nine million Syrians have left their homes. Many Syrians have taken refuge in Damascus. Hundreds of thousands of Syrians have also fled from Damascus as the fighting drew nearer. Attention: High Alert! Bible prophecy is unfolding concerning Damascus.
