If Obasanjo had handed over to Duke we certainly won't be in the mess we are in today as Duke would have transformed the economy and raised the standards of governance. However it's not too late to correct the mistake of the past. As for me, I am solidly behind Donald Duke. |
Politics › Re: Oyinlola Resigns From Buhari's Govt As 7 APC Govs,3 Pdp's Storm Abuja For OBJ CN by MrPristine: 2:02pm On Feb 01, 2018 |
millhouse: Obj is a smart chess player.. I can tell u for free that this CN is to checkmate Atiku not Buhari.
Atiku decamping from the APC to the PDP last year was too early & ill-timed. Atiku can't throw in his weight now to get the PDP presidential ticket.. This third force is throwing him off balance, as whom and who will join is still shrudded in mystery but with time names will be known.
It would be easier for the party members in the opposition (PDP & the others) to join the third force which will have OBJ as it's navigator-in-chief than those in the ruling party (APC).
If Buhari heeds to OBJ's advice and decides not to run for 2019, there will be no inroad for Atiku to return to the APC to contest for the presidential ticket thus subjecting him to political wilderness.
Obj and his political games . Atiku is not even in the picture as it is highly unlikely he gets the pdp ticket. Truth is that apc and pdp are going to field northern candidates and they will cancel themselves out thus paving the way for this coalition's candidate to win the elections. |

alen4smith: this coalition will make it even easier for Buhari cos they will divide the votes of the south with pdp while the north is consolidating considering the mass defection to the ruling party in the north we may just have to endure another four years under buhari You got it wrong. Most Nigerians are sick and tired of both PDP and APC. Nigerians want something new a refreshing and this party will capitalize on the aspirations of most Nigerians to carry the day come 2019. |

Donald Duke with Olagunsoye Oyinlola at the ongoing launch of the movement for Nigeria coalition in Abuja. The journey to rescue Nigeria from the hands of the hyenas, jackals and vampires has started.

Amarabae: Dead on arrival. Which party is going to give him ticket? Can never be PDP because they have zoned it already. Can never be APC, So which other party? He should not waste his money We have over sixty registered parties in Nigeria, both APC and PDP have failed us. It's time to kick both of them out. |

Odingo1: The presidency in Nigeria has been rotational, Obasanjo became president because Nigeria agreed to field Yoruba candidate for two major political parties in other to make sure that a Yoruba man must emerge as president, let Nigeria do the same for Igbos so that Nigeria will move forward as a country.
After the North it is the turn of Igbos to become the president of Nigeria just like other region
Yorubas pushing for Donald Duke is a calculated attempt which will not work. It's not were the president comes from that matters but his or her ability to perform. As far as Nigeria is concerned today, Donald Duke is the best proven man for the job. |

degamemaster: Good combination if you ask me but I don't think they have enough time to evangelize to the grassroots. Majority of Nigerians are really disillusioned with the status quo of pdp and apc. They are yearning for a real change and any formidable movement can easily sway the votes away from the establishment. |

Humility017: it's like you don't know how charismatic buhari is.... him merely lifting your hands here in the north and asking them to vote for you....can make you clear all votes here...
he is a demigod...any political party desiring to unseat him need dp extra work....serious one. his photograph can win even atiku here in the north...coupled wit the illiteracy rate here.
it's gonna be difficult What Buhari has is not charisma but popularity based on ethnic and religious sentiments because he is a religious bigot and tribal champion. That said, his popularity is waning in the north because of his very poor performance and several northerners including the arewa youth forum have come out to condemn his disastrous performance. I agree he will still win in the north but it will no longer be a landslide victory whilst his votes in other parts of the country will be almost down to zero. |

Achorise: They are wasting their time if there's no strong mechanism to destabilize the cabals. Also they should have strong back up and agents in the para military and military agencies, cos they are the real tool of these dominant political parties. Also they should be enough sensitization in schools, comunities and colleges. They should also know that the children of these politicians will team up to fight back, because you intend to destroy the source of their affluence and luxury. I am sure the calibre of people involved are intelligent enough to know how to go about achieving their aim. Nigeria is ripe to be taken off the grip of the cabal. #It'sOurTime |
