Technology Market / NITRAM Frost Enterprise Ordeal - Follow-up Story by MrRosh: 11:53am On Dec 09, 2023
So, after my last conversation with Mr. Emumwen Martis in 2022, where he tried to be smart by giving me conditions to persuade me to take down my earlier post as a medal and motivation for him to refund my money, It had largely fallen on deaf ears.

When I contacted my council, I was advised to ignore him considering, over the years, the trinkets of repayment had rendered the money almost invaluable. Wait a minute, n200,000 in 2021 will be refunded in bits and pieces until 2023 in a nation suffering from 25% inflation. Our last conversation was sometime on March 15, 2022.

So, on November 16, 2023, at 1:18, I received a phone call. Hello, who is this… he was on the other end of the call. Requesting that I had put him in prison, hence I should release him by taking down the original post ad as a show of good will, he would pay a part of the 60,000 that was outstanding and subsequently the balance. I mentioned that such a decision would be based on my council’s decision.

I removed the first post and had gone on to draft a follow-up story, still having the slightest positivity that He would keep to his words, at least from the greater percent of his failed promises. I gave the benefit that 10% can still be truthful. To my surprise, the day rolled by, and at noon I got a message that he had paid a part and that I hadn’t kept my end of the deal.

Imagine his audacity after rendering my money almost invaluable and the inconvenience his actions had caused me. So, I went back to reflect on the whole situation. I looked through the messages we exchanged years ago and, according to the audio conversation, observed a pattern. He has been consistent at one thing. He always failed to live up to his promise. At that point, I concluded I would release the follow-up and want to clearly state that I have no obligation to negotiate my money when there’s no trust and there has been no basis to build trust.

Possibly the balance will come in 2024, as it has been spread over the years to ensure the value is completely insignificant. I also believe that at this point I can unleash a series on another selected social medium. So watch out for it.

This drama of online outlets will never end.

This December I received a message from a farm I was planning to patronize for the festive period only to be told a full goat is N32,000 I then negotiated for N30,000 and sent the money. Then I instructed them to include potatoes to the equation, so it all comes at once. A total of N40,000 including transportation which I was told originally is N2,000 then later told to add N2,000 making transportation N4,000.

I listed the item and made respective payment only to be posted continuously for three days. Ha Christmas day nothing arrived so I visit the paid and discover I have been blocked. I call their number and then I am told they don’t sell a single goat it has to be two goats I should add an addition N20,000. I now asked the one I paid for I didn’t receive I should now add additional money isn’t that foolishness?

They now send me the same fraudulent account number to and the person is pleading with me to pay. I said no send the one I have paid for or send my money back. Na that one we dey drag since morning.

God bless you, this may be the only reasonable comment I have seen on this thread. The youth we have these day or can I say on this platform are daft, honestly speaking. Look at most of the comments saying the topic is irrelevant or that the award is boring. Awards given to fellow Youths who are excelling in their area of expertise and some broke, good for nothing nonentity is criticising it. I weep for our future. I will win that award next year. By God's grace.

Please I need to know how credible this Africa Future Academy is. I haven't known them before and just seeing them last month but there's no known information about them.

How credible is this Africa Future Academy, considering I haven't seen much information and i am currently required to pay about N32,000 for acceptance after a scholarship of $700. There's something not adding up!

Good morning everyone.

I just got admitted into Future Academy Africa Data Science program. I'm a complete beginner in this area. The offer is a scholarship and I am to pay a fraction of the total fee.

My question is: What do I expect from the program? What was your experience, for those who have done the course? Is it worth it?

I also got a mail that i got the admission with a scholarship of $700 but I am also looking around for its affiliates and I can't really find non. so, I am also wondering why i should make such payment of 32k when I really don't know the advantages of taking the course with them.

I am also trying to access their website to see what is obtainable. Institutions that give scholarships have a history and their location is in Ondo so i an wondering how the story links to the $700 scholarship.

Science/Technology / Re: How my inverter is saving me in this poor power supply and no-fuel situation by MrRosh: 3:51am On Jun 14, 2022
I started my solar project gradually and in phases.
I secureda 3kva hybrid then later panels 380w before getting lition-ion batteries 24v 200ah. Batteries were last to store power for the night but in the day I use the solar direct.

Buying at once is good if the bulk money is present otherwise do it in batches expecially when u know what u want it for.

DMerciful:
Exactly.....all depends on the load you want to power. For backup systems, low wattage appliances like energy saver bulbs should be used.

20 panels is alot reduce that with higher capacity panels and a good hybrid inverter. A 380w or 500w panel will reduce the quantity u will mount.

I mounted 4 380w panels and a hybrid inverter with lition-ion batteries and I have not used PHCN since March 2022 when they cut my light till date.

ValarDoharis:
I don't have an inverter but planning to buy. I have a colleague who combined it with solar and he doesn't use mains supply. The solar panels supply his entire house. He has about 20 solar panels on his roof. That's what I'm saving for.

My situation with Nitram-frost happened in 2021 its almost a full year now. What irritated me was the statement he made that I can involve anyone or law enforcement agent that he will handle them that he isn't scared.

I live in lagos. When the pressure from my lawyers were high he called this year in Feb and told me he would refund my money but I should take down the story. My lawyers advised I shouldn't take the story down.

He has not called since then. He still has a balance to pay up. Although he has refunded more than 55% I'm yet to hear from him.

On the run with my 2 million naira for a solar contract job I gave him since November 2021

He doesn't pick my calls anymore since he confirmed payment.

Get a lawyer to handle the matter. At least I recovered most of my money. I'm only left with N60k and he hasn't called or paid since then. Its time he is reported to EFCC and a proper man haunt is done.

He would sound nice before you pay and after payment he would become something else.

Till date I haven't recovered all the money. He called me sometime in Feb 2022 requesting I take down this post but that he hadn't raised my balance yet.

I spoke with my lawyer and I was advised not to take it down instead I should do an update or follow up story.

Technology Market / INVERTER Nitram Frost Enterprise Ordeal by MrRosh: 6:30am On Apr 07, 2021
It's still loading, but the best was the day I realized that PHCN was only enriching themselves at the expense of the masses. I had an outstanding bill of N50,000 for a 2-bedroom apartment, even though no one used the light. I never complained; I made a payment of N15,000, and then they cut the light. I went to their office and complained; after turning me around, it was reconnected. I was happy and carried on my routine away from the apartment. i rushed back after a month to drop the receipt. I had paid N6,000, and I saw a bill of N18,000. By now, an accumulated bill of N70,000+ was waiting. I got unhappy, then they came as usual and disconnected the light, which I requested they stop billing me since a two-bedroom apartment that barely consumes 1 hour of stable light can accumulate N18,000 every month.

I went to alternative power and sourced for solar panels, inverters, batteries, and finally installation. I got two companies. One supplied the panel, batteries, and wind turbine; the other was to supply the inverter, mppt, and solar surge protector, plus installation. Fortunately, it all turned bitter after complete payment. I never saw the product, and I never saw any installation. I called and called, and after a while, one Mr. Emumwen Martis, who was the owner of the company Nitram Frost Enterprise, would pick and give all sorts of excuses. Ooo, today they went to Benin to do an installation. Ooo, Lastma caught me as we were about to deliver. Ooo, I thought you were calling to congratulate me for a job well done, but I was handing over a project.

There were many fancy stories, and on the five different days that they were to install them, he failed. The final was his promise to install on the 27th, and failure to do so I was free to take action. He failed that day and even the next date afterwards, so I demanded a refund. I got a lawyer involved, and since then he has been playing games. I just hope that he won't be sorry when I start releasing our chats, audio conversations, and full details of the transaction.

I was so surprised that after the cool talk, he could be so fraudulent. and yet claim I should be patient.

*After what transpired recently (2023), I have reinstated the original post and will not negotiate until my money is refunded in full.

I just want to mention that those from ABU wouldn't want to give information considering the threat and suffocation they would face. It's known that they gave out such information. They would ensure they don't graduate so for them to be safe they would not want to speak about it.

Thank you for your wonderful addition. I must confess that my sources at ABU were very conservative with the truth. However, I knew from the start that there was a problem because many of them were supposed to have graduated 2 years ago and these are quite brilliant lads.

To be honest NUC is not meeting up to expectations in regulating PG studies in Nigeria. I do hope that they see this post to know how bad things are. We can also start a petition to draw their attention to the plight of PG students in the country.

I want to state here that technically or tactically the NUC is part of this issue...

I have witnessed an inspection period in one of the Uni you enlisted and you will be shocked to note that the department in question was understaffed but yet produced a list of unverified prof's which the NUC team accepted also the PG class for one of the departments in the same institution was alleged inspected but was a disappointment. that did not bring about any change... presently now one of the institution in question will be inspected soon and sadly all the camouflage and packaged appearance are being put in place pending when the inspection will be held and then things return to its dead state.

You did your best when you mentioned ABU but the gravity of what makes it a very terrible institution you did mention just one.

It must be of note that 60% of students that come to that institution dont graduate. They end up getting frustrated and dumping the programme further more the remaining 40% on average don't finish below 4years! Many 5 years and above...

They have this general mentality that your coming to take an Msc programme is to occupy the job market as lecturers hence they sniff the life out of you. It must be mentioned that out side the politics and religious undertone the institution benefits more from admission of students that end up frustrated after several years of school fees and none-completion of the programme amidst departments with incompetent lecturers or supervisors with little idea about a research topic - they would prefer you take up a research in some thing the feel you should do.

If you walk into most of their departmental Libraries you will be terrified the number of students admitted and the projects of graduated students in they library.

Further more there are departments considered as extra dangerious... let me leave others to mention them

A piece of information I hope people aspiring to take up ABU's post graduate programme will consider and reconsider their stance to avoid spending more painful years ahead. Due to the years spent on post graduate programme an interview was granted to daily trust https:///byDDZB the article did not consider the real details or challenges rather tactically shifting blame to the students. before my response to that article i was glad to see this https:///T4ln87

Well I read a lot of p'ples posts and I must confess i am really impressed

I am a core hater of BB and an ardent lover of Samsung! but the fact remains i own a BB cause its the only mobile with handy Mobile Data plans well organised with less cost. I would love to go for a Galaxy S II but i dislike touch screens! Thats me.

I recently meet a lady who was feeling all too fly cause i approached her with my little Samsung dual sim and in the unusual chart she tried to put me off in the banking hall. When i made my withdrawal she suddenly picked interest when i collected the black nylon. then i began to wonder why all the forming. cant we simply be ourselves and live according to our means!

Its better to eat well and have fun than to flaunt an xpensice set, clad, watch, anything at all. This issue is not peculiar to BB. In church during xmas I realized that i looked shady pulling out my digital cam while almost everyone was with their ipad's then i thought to my self it depends on how you view things. They are using their devices you use yours and if you and got be yourself and be calm. Like i would say to my supervisor you didn't pay my educational fees so you should be cautious when saying somethings to me.

As simple as that.

I guess i may just be patient alil more and see where this goes. This is cause i have lil faith in MTN as well as Glo but i have three lines including Etisalat so i have at list three options to choose from. Let me run one more month on MTN and see.
