Please I want to go into transport business, not uber or taxify, but the Lagos Dan for buses. I have not met a single soul in support of me going into this link exchange of business for a whole lot of reasons.Please i need advice from anyone running this business, specifically in Lagos state.
I just wanthought to have an idea of the steps to take, precautions, how much is delivered in a day or week and more importantly how the whole experience has been.

I have seen adverts for a few of such private hostels in places like Akoka, within Lagos mainland, just outside the gates of University of Lagos. However, they are targeted at undergraduate and post-graduate students of the institution. Cost per annum is about 150k to 250k per person, for 2-4 people sharing a room and its' associated facilities. Note that all services such as cleaning, power and security are included in the charges. I cannot tell how profitable it is for the owners, though!

The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) used to run a hostel for men, in Awolowo Road, in Ikoyi Lagos. I don't know if it is still running, because last time I passed by the place, a large portion of the building has been converted to offices and commercial spaces. There is even a bank, within the building.

The Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) also has a hostel in the Moloney area of Lagos Island, but it is badly run down and quite stuffy. I heard that only very few rooms are available, and it has not been renovated since the '80s. Part of the building has also been converted to a commercial centre and an events hall. Sorry, I wish I could give you more info on this aspect, but that is all I know.

Building hostels in different parts of Lagos for working class people is a great idea, but how would it be executed? Land in most accessible parts of Lagos isn't cheap! Construction costs are also high! Yet, hostel costs by their very nature, are expected to be cheap. So how does one synchronise the two? Security is another concern. How would the inmates be vetted and scrutinised to ensure they are above board?

ogunvic41 and his company is a disaster waiting to burst. has the worst customer relation ever. His partner romeo is even a better person than him fact. I called this guys two weeks earlier telling them my budget. I was adviced to get a 406 buh I decided on a corrola, I told them I will be coming to Lagos to make the purchase and then hand it over to them. note am based in Benin and have never been to Lagos before. OK long story short, I called this guys on arrival said they where in a meeting we will meet up next day. next day knowing I had limited time I called as early as 6, I was told latest 7:30 they would drive down. 8am I called again they gave me a location to meet up...
I tried finding it buh I am a jjc in lag so I called ogunvic41 and I received a shocker. I said "bros I can't locate the place since you driving you should come over". this guy said in a harsh tone " I CAN NEVER DRIVE DOWN THERE". he went on saying I can't be controlling a busy man and am not doing him a favour as it is business if am not interested I should forget. This is someone I came all the way from Benin to transact with. we never even see he already was forming bossy and very rude. he later called to apologise claiming he was under pressure. well first impression matters a lot so I just told them am not interested. world doesn't revolve round them
