Stealth100: Collect it on trial for two weeks and see if it pays. No harm in trying. Someone picked me up with a 2008 Lexus RX350 on uber last month. I'm sure he's not stupid. On the long run, such cars ( Suvs ) are not ideal for this business. |

Kindly take note: I receive several calls regularly from individuals about how to venture into this business. We talk about several risk factors and how to mitigate them. From my little experience, I've come to discover that the major risk factor is the " Human Factor ". Lets Tak a look at the Ogunvic case. The accident is not in any way special. Accidents happen anytime. In fact the car owner already had an insurance package in place to mitigate the risk. However a Human being ( human factor) put a clog in the wheel of Progress ( consciously or unconsciously ). A lot of people worry about the car ( machine) in this business and I tell them a car is just a machine. If it develops a fault . You get a technician and fix it and move on. Worst case scenario you can even sell and move on. What happens when a human being develops a fault?? What happens when your team is made up of faulty human beings Message to all existing and prospective investors in this business. Take your time and work on the human factors. Pray, fast, visit your Pastor or Imam or Herbalist and learn how to Assemble the right team. Don't be deceived it take time, effort and maybe a bit of luck to get it right. Maybe some principles to follow as well. @angelicbeing and other investors. You can actually invest in this country. Even if you bring in 50 cars at once the Market is ripe for such. However you need the right team to make it work. To all existing and intending fleet managers out there. Take time to work on this. |

prodigyx1: Please Be careful, don't allow me look back. I try to always ask for solutions and not dwell on problems.
That you called and narrated everything I said doesn't mean we have resolved issues. You should have waited till you actually do something responsible before posting this. Cuz nothing has been done by you since this whole incident. Your first call was over an hour and had no apology not even after all that happened that I had to tell you what you should have done and prevented this whole issue. And after the call you thought over and decide to call back and apologize. And all your suggestions are the same thing the car owners were asking for from the get go and you decided to waste their time and money cuz you had more important "stuffs". Seriously don't let me look back.
As to fault, I'm waiting for you to point out mine. Even if in a private call or face to face or even here. Like someone said "don't hide under the unknown". The call records will be uploaded any way possible if I notice any false accusations.
As per compensation, keep telling yourself whatever you like.. If till this day I still don't know how money was made but I received zero naira when it was due and no amount has been remitted for 2 weeks work. And you never discuss it when we speak. Perhaps you still need to read your own terms and conditions.
My initial silence was out of restraint to allow you redeem yourself but coming here boasting and saying what hasn't happened is just very annoying. You just couldn't exercise control over yourself. Its terrible. Sad development from Fleet Experts. I suggest you put the business on hold and go for proper training. |

Carshopper: In this business, I believe the vehicle SHOULD be able to sustain and maintain itself with proper inputs from all who PROFIT from the vehicle.
I see the vehicle as a BUSINESS tool, so sentimental attachment to the vehicle should be out of the way for effective USAGE.
Proper management of this BUSINESS tool falls into the hands of the DRIVER - FLEET MANAGEMENT. Proper management means that the LOWEST COST possible has to be incurred in the running of the BUSINESS tool.
The DRIVER has to have that basic mechanical idea of issues that can / will arise from daily running of the BUSINESS tool
The FLEET MANAGEMENT has to have preventive maintenance scheduling in place, partner with right auto workshop, insurance, fleet management options and solutions.
Every one has to be happy in partnership - the investor - fleet management - Driver - vehicle.
Starting Feb 4th, we will be putting out various ways to which you can partner with us as we change the narrative. We believe with all parties involved, we will be able to achieve something that benefits all.
Let's Change the narrative. Chilling on my usual Mango tree and watching. Wish you luck |

dru23: Hopefully this will humble them. Romeo3 has a good customers service skill. He needs to pull his partner aside and caution him on his people skills. Part of the issue I see his the way he talks to people. And in my own humble opinion they need to slow a bit with the numbers of cars they take. Start slow and grow from there. I disagree with your second sentence sir. 6 is actually not different from Half a dozen... |

Ogunvic, Romeo. You guys have lost your chance to clear this mess.
I'm highly disappointed in both of you. Based on the response from Romeo and the golden silence from Ogunvic it's obvious you guys LACK THE CAPACITY TO DELIVER.
From now on your reputation has been stained.
Warning: If you have to dine with Fleet Experts, use a long Fork and sit far from the table. |

Over time I've come to realize that drivers need a better bargain. There is the constant pressure to satisfy each rider and of course earn good money.
I have a solution... How about a device that helps to keep the rider happy during a ride and at the same time the driver gets better Ratings ( 5star ) and also gets to earn additional income.
I'm here to introduce Taxi TV... The rider gets good quality entertainment and he or she is happy.
Driver earns money in the process and gets better Ratings. It's a win win situation for everybody.
All you need is a Tab and if you don't have one, it will be made available and you get to pay from your earnings.
Activation is very easy.. Let's talk: 08028052100 call or Whatsapp

I suggest you go for Peugeot 406 or 307. you can get a very good one within your budget.
You may take a trip to Abuja to get a good one. You have more Peugeot cars available within Abuja/ Kaduna axis. PAN is in Kaduna. This is just an option.
You can also contact Ikenna ( Lion King) in the Auto section. He's a Peugeot expert. He can help you out with pre purchase inspection. This is very important.
Wish you luck.
Forget the Corolla. The cost is higher than your budget. |

Carshopper: Thanks ... we started out by admiring ur inputs
That last sentence should read 'we will wear it first' too much typing on the go I'm happy everyone is making progress... E hailing has come to stay. When we started, most riders had telephone numbers of various cab men stored on their phones. Now the narrative has changed. Just turn on an app and move on. Shout out to you guys making smart moves. Keep it up. Me I kuku dey one corner on top Mango tree watching everybody. I be young shall grow. |

Carshopper: It's still on paper... a thought.. An idea .. A process. We just trying to re-create a process that already exists.
Currently I am testing 'Driver maintenance group' on my own fleet... and truly it has reduced issues of sudden expenses.
We will wear the first before we give it to u. I love this last sentence. Wish you luck. |
