nacksonjoe: @Mynd and Mrs Chima what do u two have against christianity. The only place God supported divorce is at d case of infidelity.Did you read ANYTHING IN MY POST THAT STATED I HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST CHRISTIANITY IF I don't have anything against other religions...I wouldn't have anything against Christianity. If Christians are going to talk out of turn and misquote their OWN BOOKS..I will correct them on it. If anyone got an issue with it...they can kiss my azz. |
50calibre: Your policy of male-female equality. First of all, i don't get involved with minors and it didnt even happen in nigeria so that's out of the way.You confused me with another chatter....NOTHING IN MY POSTS SPOKE OF MALE-FEMALE EQUALITY. However whomever the person that said it...I can understand it. I am soooo glad that you don't get involved with minors! I was about to call my in-laws to warm them about the child snatchers on the loose. According to 2012 dictionary....discipline is a training that molds or corrects a moral character and control gained by enforcing obedience and order. Is that what parents do to their CHILDREN You want to pick another word/definition because you just sonned yourself. LMAO@comparing relationships with large corporations! ![]() |
Why are you emphasizing on non inclusion of the holy books when I mentioned 5 other factors. Do I come across to you as a religious fanatic? As per my personal opinion, if you were unable to read the entirety of my first comment on this thread, you should have at least read the last paragraph. There lies my personal opinion. However, this thread is not about my personal opinion but to establish whether male chauvinism generates successful relationships. I didn't only provide the answers, I gave you reasons for the answers. The world will still spin if there wasn't Nairaland, not to talk of this thread.
A long diatribe and still no answer to my question. Let me record....As The World Turns. |
Short Fella Pleep, I call it like i see it, Whether or not a 5'4" inch insecure little Nigerian like you gets offended or not is not my Concern Brother. From What i have read in this thread, Are 2 insecure little boys who seem to struggle at competing with the "dominance" of an Aggressive Woman. Which results in a 5'4" inch guy who spams nairaland constantly with Anti Feminism threads and preaching about the 1960s and 1970s about how "once upon a time women did not hit men" Despite him only being 18 years of Age..... ....lol ..."Feminism"...Yes Blame feminism for your inability to properly engage in a discourse where the "female" talks back and is not Submissive. Yes...."Feminism"...Blame Feminism for your inability to take criticism regarding your Unattractive Picture that was plastered all across Nairaland and Repeatedly Clowned by Various Females..... Little Guy.. I call it Like i see It. ........ ![]() Short Men, particularly Men deemed "Unattractive" And Short...tend to have insecurity issues...Which is why they can compile an entire post history of Degrading Black Women on Various threads for an entire 3 year time period. Is it not Obvious from the last 10 pages of your post history you have a problem with Black Women? Particularly Black Aggressive women who like to belittle(lol) you and Emasculate you?...Lmao If you notice, Even your "reply" towards me(Despite you claiming to be so called ignoring me) has a rebuttal and attack on "Black Women" in your very Post... Your Insecurity sees any "Attacker" as a Black Female.... Could this be the Reason you Bloviate All day long about your distaste for Darkskin Women and "Feminism"? Could it be from the Black "Feminist" women who bullied you at school?...during your small 18 years of existence on this earth?. ...lol Little Fella, an attack on "Feminism" is not the Solution to your Insecurities, Added Length,Girth And Height are. ...... ![]() Sincerely Yours, The Short Man Complex Psychologist...Dr. Royal Keep Your Head Up Little Fella.
You believe that black leprechaun is 18 years old if you want to! That is the oldest 18 yars old nigglet I have ever seen! Hell Hillary Clinton is damn near 60 and looks younger than Papa Smurf Pleep! ![]() Did you see his tag team Faux Black Kenichisa? Nigglet was riding on pleep's nuts like a sissy! ![]() |
Black Kenichi: @pleepI guess to you everybody is Black Feminist simply because only some Black women fights for equal rights. I guess I am Black today because F@ggot Nich said so! ![]() You were useless when your mammy didn't swallow. Women...when you do not follow your first mind to abort...this is what you will get...a sorry azzed f@ggot with a loose booty. ![]() Keep typing my name nigger-groupie. |
For you to have replied my post immediately means you are a very fast reader and writer. I commend you for that. However, for you to ask me the question of which I've provided answers to means you are either not good in comprehending things or you are just trying to be unnecessarily mischievous. You not seeing other factors aside from religion, and also bringing in homosexuality from nowhere baffles me. Do you understand the meaning of sexism?
You didn't answer my question. Let me repeat my question again...what are YOUR PERSONAL opinions without the holy books? If you do not want to answer...that is okay...the world will still spin. |
50calibre: I hope you practise this your policy? I once had a girlfriend who believed the same thing, she felt rebellion meant she was smart and knew her rights but by the time I had finished disciplining her, she became too obedient that if I had said " drink poison" she would have. What policy are you referring to? I didn't state any personal policies. First of all...were you dating a child or a woman? Because you said discipline and what grown azz man discipline a grown azz woman I forgot screwing with minors are acceptable in Nigeria. I digress. Secondly...what rights were she fighting for in NIGERIA?!!!!!!! ![]() |
So eager to pull the bible outta the hat. Who made that quote in the bible? I can bet it was an apostle and not God himself or Christ which simply means I would take it as an advice and not a command. What is wrong with people sef? It is the same as your pastor saying something in church. The words of the apostles are their personal opinions about the issue.
ying..... People better start reading things for themselves instead of taking people's words for what it is. Religious folks DO NOT LIKE DEBATING WITH ME because I would read their books and kill them with their own books! ![]() The main reason I was able to killed them with their own books is because they were repeating what their pastors said! ![]() |
Another silly comment. The bible clearly said that when your life is threatened in a marriage or in cases of infidelity, divorce is justified. You are quick to pull the bible and yet you don't really know much in it
You are right...It is in the book of Matthews...I was arguing with some devout Christians the other day...I was like how can you call yourself a Christian and YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR BIBLE SAID? ![]() They swore up and down that the bible didn't speak about divorce and when I threw the verses at them that supports divorce in the case of a, b, and c. They were like damn how did you know? DUH! ![]() |
okpara ugo: Oga, i quoted only a passage of the bible, so that doesnt make me silly. For you, go ahead and divorce ur wife. Azz licker.Better an azz licker than nuts guzzler. |
okpara ugo: Sorry for making you write this long speech. It's almost 12am here. What is ur timeSorry for making you read something that stunned you. I am in a different time zone. Think about it. |
caseless: typical of nigerians....they answer question with a question. Allow mrs chima to answer the question...No need...she did a great job. |
This would have made a good debate, but it seems your intents of asking the question is already biased and thereby malicious. Otherwise, you will know that chauvinism goes both ways. It is not just a male trait except you are talking about "male chauvinism" here. So, to set the records straight; chauvinism is the act or idea of feeling superior over a male or female. You also show your bias by directing the question to the female folks only. You got the definition of feminism right. And I support the idea in its entirety if its what its suppose to be; gender equality. However, some female have become so biased and carried away that they begin to discriminate. That's when it turns to sexism....just like in reversed racism. No rational being will support reversed sexism in the mould of feminism. Now that we've established that you are talking about male chauvinism, I will be precise and straight to the point. The answer is yes and no. A. Yes, because of loads of factors people have mentioned here. 1. Cultural factor: The world we met and lived in for decades have cultural traits that support male chauvinism e.g payment of dowry, being solely dependent on the man even when the female partner may be earning higher than the man. 2. Historical factors: Before the inventions of machines and electronics that limit humans from using more of physical to mental power, men has always dominated the seat of power as a result of their physical power. War, hunting and farming comes to mind. 3. Religious factors: Our various Holy books have to a large extent delegated more power to men over their female counterparts. And if one is to practice these religions to the core; you cannot but either support or throw a blind eye to male chauvinism. 4. Reproductive factors: Women may be said to be kinder, more forgiven and more vulnerable than males. These traits tends to increase when they begin to reproduce. After carrying a baby for 9 months in their embryo; they may compromise on the way they are being treated for the sake of the baby. 5. Masochism: For some reasons known and unknown to us, most women derive pleasure in being bossed around. This might come in mild or forceful manner. But very true. Any sudden change in the above mentioned norms will automatically pack up most relationship. B. No, because some men don't like the idea of chauvinism and would rather have their partners bring to the table equal contributions. It can only take a smart couple to achieve success in such relationship. Finally, as new ideas and inventions come up and we evolve into new persons, generations; relationships, partnerships and marriages will be collapsing at an alarming rate if men refuses to recognize that they need to change as times fly. On the other hand, women should know when they have crossed the line between feminism and sexism!
You obvious didn't read the whole thread...but it is okay...I expected half azzed comments. Secondly...what are your opinions without the holy books? I have read the bible and the only thing I saw was head of a Christian family...what does that have to do with those who are not Christians? Now let me ask the question again....Does chauvinism create successful and happy relationships. If I am asking women a question wouldn't I be talking about male chauvinism I am not touching on the subject of homosexuality..right now let focus on heterosexuality. |
50calibre: No she wouldn't kill herself, she will learn that unconditional obedience and submission is very nice.According to YOU. No man deserve unconditional obedience and submission but the Most high and not all men earn the right to be given unconditional obedience and submission especially if he is a fool. There is nothing worse than a fool submitting and obeying a fool. |
I guess you miss the part where someone said all those were the opinions of the writer ie John, peter, Paul etc and not God himself. Heck those were their personal opinions so why should I live my live by what a guy who lived 2000 years ago wrote down?
You shouldn't follow something that you do not support personally. It is mere hypocrisy. |
claremont: The Bible is the quintessential guide to morality, they said; the Bible actively supports the subjugation of the female, they never said. The subheading of Esph. 5 speaks about Christian families. It is not applicable to those who aren't Christians. There are millions of married couples who are not Christians and seems to have a kick azz marriage. It is all about viewpoints and opinions. |
mashnino: the moment you bring religion into this thing..I agree! |
okpara ugo: It does. Better tell urself the truth on time. Read ur bible. When your husband stamps his feet after a heated arguement, get up and stamp urs.You are right not every man is Mr. Chima because he is a man that knows his role and handles his house. He doesn't need to treat me like his child and treats me like his wife. He demands respect while he give respect. He doesn't need to quote bibles, korans, and torahs just to get his needs met. He simply inform me of his needs and ask me of my needs and we equally please one another. When my husband speaks...I listen and when I speak..he listen and we come to an understanding of where we should go and no drama ensue for we have communicated our opinions and nothing beats an united front. If he makes a great point...he receive 100% support from me and if I see something that is not realistic...I will voice my opinion because any decisions my husband make...affect the whole family. I have every right to voice my opinion if I must accept the aftermath of his decisions. So you are right...not all men are like Mr. Chima. Not all ladies can be blessed with such man. ![]() |
which do I do first? Get a dictionary or check her profile
Pick up your face so that you can make the next move . ![]() |
mashnino: you have just solve the problem..Many of your brothers have claimed to be christians and love quoting the bible while they have failed miserably when the same bible said...a house divided against thyself failed. Now if they are going to quote the bible...they need to quote everything in the bible not pick and choose what suits them. ![]() What happens when the manager and assistant manager do not work together and communicate effectively? The company goes out of business! ![]() |
CAMEROONPRIDE: IGNORANCE AT THE HIFHEST LEVEL ..THIS IS WHAT HAPPEN WHEN U ALLOW A BUSH WOMAN TO USE ANY KIND OF TECHNOLOGY..I LAUGH IN EWONDO.EWU CHIMALMAO@an American woman being bush. ![]() This is what happened when a bush nigglet have access to technology. Pure ignorance. |
carefreewannabe: I wasn't referring to you.I know. |
Communication center? Agent? That is exactly how I knew you were lying
Oh...I forgot. Forgive me for not breaking it down. People who sell merchandises for companies are called agents, associates, and representatives. The place I went to get a phone was called a communication center that not only sold phones but provide services such as internet and computer, printing, photo, and faxing services. I know you don't travel...but I do. Keep calling me a liar...it won't change what is on my international passport and the photo on my profile..is a real life shot of me in Africa. You can pick up your face. |
carefreewannabe: PLEASE, save us from the poor metaphors of ships and captains and pray that your marriage will not turn up to be a titanic.Or shipwrecked! I use the cruise ship analogy in my debate because my opponent stated there are no two captains! I beat my opponent! |
mashnino: REMEMBERThere is a ship captain and staff captain, there is a president and vice president, there is manager and assistant manager, and there is regional manager and a district manager. What does all of them have in common? They depend on each other! ![]() What is supposed to happen during decision making time Teach me because I am dying to know the "African way" of making decisions. ![]() |
50calibre: Africa is in poverty due to the effects colonialism, imperialism and most of all corruption has had on Africa.Nigeria is ran by black leaders so therefore the corruption has nothing to do with outsiders. If the value is so great then it need to reflect hat regardless if a few white folks sitting in the jury section. Accept accountability for the country's struggles and make efforts to rectify it. Nigeria is a man's heaven so therefore since men are such "perfect" beings...things should be perfect in Nigeria. |
Liar
Lying about what? ![]() Let me further crack your face....I had to go to a communication center to get a phone and once I was able to find an agent...I had to scraped the silver "dust" to get the code to recharge the phone. How did I know this? ![]() Pick up your face boo boo. |
ayobase: LOL.....I don't do married people!Yeah and I am a virgin. ![]() |
