Why a grown arse man can't obtain a job and keep a woman worrying about other people's relationships.  That should be featured on the front page.

And your post in relation to this thread is?  huh undecided undecided
To anyone it pertains to.  Instead of telling women they need to cook, you need to teach your fellow brothers how it is embarrassing to depend on women for financial assistance and food.

Maybe the women would be more willing to cook for men that have jobs and can afford groceries.

Sweery, you had better go and cook for your husband and stop deceiving yourself on NL.

It's simple. In the same way you like regular shows of love from your man is the same way we like regular shows of love, care and concern from our women. One of these ways is preparing a meal for your man. Why you're all making a big deal out of it is what I don't understand. You want diamonds, gifts, fixings of various household gadgets and lifting of various objects from your man, but to show him some love back is an issue to you?

God save men from these green, greedy, self-centered monsters that pass for women these days.

. . .

Anyway. All those ones are just usual girl-talk beans. Fact is most of you would do anything to keep your man happy, cooking involved, if you had a man.  cool
You better go keep those hoes happy with your sticking and licking.  Stop deceiving yourself.

Fact is most of you woul do anything to feed your ego and pay for pussy if you don't have a woman.   cool
Most women who hyphenate their names do it for professional reasons. esp if they marry later in life after they have accomplished so much.
I don't see a reason why men should object to this.
I would think a life or death situation would be more important subject in a marital discussion than a name objection.  I guess DIFFERENT STROKES for different folks.

If a name is that much of a problem, then the guy should go marry elsewhere lol. Like I said in another thread months ago, a woman is brought up with her father's name. It's her identity. Ask a man to change his name and he gets defiant. "This is my father's name! I have to keep my father's name!" You don't have to do anything lol. People keep or change names as they do because other people have done it. If it doesn't feel right to you, then don't do it. It doesn't make her a feminist lol. If she doesn't want to change it, then leave her. She may not feel comfortable with it. I'd assume that men would want their wives happy and comfortable. Abi?

Not every woman is willing to change her name so easily, especially with divorce taking over the globe. Hyphenating the name is much better, considering if they do divorce, she only has to drop his name.

If people loved and married for the right reasons, this certainly wouldn't be as big of an issue. I've heard/read from a lot of women (not most, just a lot), however, that the reason they want to keep their names unchanged, or add their spouse's name with a hyphen is for this divorce reason. Sad.
Hmm.  True.

I am sure there are women that do not mind using their husband's last name along side with their maiden name and there are women that won't change their last name at all.  The bottom line is this why is the last name a big deal?

I am glad that you do not need a woman to cook for you because I was thinking you are facing a life or death situation.  Good to know.  Whew!  Sorry to bust your bubbles buddy.  Cooking has nothing to do with love nor proving love.   Love isn't that easy.

Aim for something bigger than that.  Don't be cheap.
ok! But that doesn't mean they have to change their last names too though.

It's not a LAW, neither it is a SIN if a woman's last name is not changed. So what exactly is the problem here? It's all about personal preference at this point!

It's too trivial a matter to affect a whole relationship/marriage. Don't you think?
It is not a law nor a sin if a woman doesn't change her last name.  But you know that SOME people do have their own interpretation of what is important in THEIR marriage and wants to enforce their VIEWS on other people's marriage.  That what is going on this thread.  It is sad though.

If a man can deal with a woman not changing her last name which shouldn't be an issue and there are bigger things that will goes on in a marriage that needs to be dealt with.  For some reasons, SOME people assumed that everyone's marriage is the same so therefore they can't believe a woman is not adhering to what THEY feel is right regardless if it has NOTHING to do with them or not.

If a woman changes her last name because she wants to that HER decision and if the man wants to leave her because she DOESN'T change her last name there are BETTER fishes in the sea and does not cry over petty shit such as a last name change.

Once again N101, kudos to you.   cool
