People/Groups can hold resentment for various reasons.... Past Injustices.... Mistreatment...... Jealousy....Envy..... Ect..... These wounds never heal....and continue to destroy each generation.... But nobody wants to take blame....... My "Lightskin Black People" are suffering now...because our previous generations carried out the same prejudice against their darker brothers & sisters. So those darker generations had children and taught their children To hate and envy us..... And the cycle continues..... And this generation of lightskin blacks will teach their same children to hate Darkskin for what is taking place now..... It never ends....
Yes...I have noticed certain chatters are jealous and eny of certajn chatters. Its usually those society wouldn't consider desirable or wanted. SAD THOUGH. |
KidStranglehold: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...LMAO!Yes I have cutie. MUUUUAH. |
Lmfao @ "he aint black" ......see what I mean?.....
Exactly!! LMAO! Lol at most people who insults sexkillz are those who li es in America. Dummies are hilarious at times! |
If Mike Ealy would have replied to this guy....with a darkskin joke The Print would have been everywhere.... Black Folks would have run a muck..... Tearing him down. Yet...nobody says nothing about this guy..... And he does this shitt every day on social media boards and in interviews Amazing Double Standard..... Outright Amazing. Let....The Rock ....Dwayne Johnson..say something negative about a darkskin woman....that print would be everywhere. Let Mary J Blige say something negative about Lightskin men..... You would not hear a damn thing.... The Rock would lose movie deals...endorsements. ..everything. This Wack asss double standard has darkskin blacks all over the net.."Color Baiting" Lightskin celebrities into a "coooning war"........ And it is a win/win situation for the darkskin individual... Either they walk away hearing no response from the lightskin victim....or they can lie and play the "sympathy victim card" when someone is bold enough to respond. Noboddy wants a partnership nor a brotherhood of Inequality Nor Snakes.
True about the double standard part....you still sucking toes? |
There are a huge influx of educated Yorubas but doesn't mean anything other than those that are educated. |
Yoruba Vs Igbo Tribal Wars do kind of often devolve into subtle forms of Lightskin vs Darskin along with a myriad others as well I watch them unfold every time I see a tribal thread on nairaland. Ibos calling yoruba dark black and ugly... Yoruba women clowning ibo yellow skin ...... Go read C.fours anti ibo female post and tell me colorism does not exist in Africa...... Chima has a point. It is there....anyone who reads nairaland can see it clearly There are other "themes" within the tribalism...but just because there are multiple themes present..does not mean one of the present themes does not exists
Exactly. Like sexkillz for example..they have always dissed him about his yellow skin calling him an albino but colorism don't exist in Africa? What about tuts and huls in Rwanda? I guess they were killing each other over some flipflops? I read a book by a tut in Rwanda who is yellow like you...she watched her family murdered by huls saying they have white blood....supposedly her father is Beligian and her mum is Rwandan. She stated her father worked for a white family and was privy to a good life which made the family a target...she also said apart from skin color yoi couldn't tell a tut from a huls. |
Kiddie...you rocks!!!! |
The myth that ALL Africans are highly intellectuals has been proven false by a bushmeat eating and ebola infected gorilla. How pathetic. |
2buff: It is Friday. Work has finished.Go dive in a two feet pool. |
Have it ever occur to anyone that maybe thos Nigerian men she had dated are married or engaged? If she is looking for a serious engagement maybe they are respecting her by not using her? |
Lol at BA take shit to a whole nother level when you have in sone countries two dark ash African tribes killing each in the name of the "lighter" dark ash tribe. Many of the Africans on this site and off always comparing and assuming lighter people are mixed or exotic but swears up and down there are no such thing as color. Bullshit much? |
[sub][/sub] Chimaritoponcho: wow feels so great learning all these from the legendary mrs chima.thanks a million timesIt was merely suggestions of a happily married woman. I do realize that in Nigerian culture girlfriend gets less attention and respect than married women. I was given wife treatment as a girlfriend fr my husband before we got married....I guess in his mind I was his wife regardless. We are now approaching nickle years in our marriage..time flies! |
Chimaritoponcho: She's so sweet and i feel am not pampering her enough.any idea on how i should go about it?Women loves attention and affections from her man. Spend quality time with her by doing something she likes and something you guys have in common. For example...my husband and I are movie buffs. We set a date or two for movie night. For some reasons the movie ends up watching us. Winks. My husband like soccer matches and I will watch a match with him. I like public events...he will participate with me. You can have spa day where you are the professional. Learn how to conduct manicures and pedicures. Deep tissue massages are excellent and she can reciprocate a day for you. Cooking class or cook off is fun. Chima and I had a cook off last week. We use seafood of all kinds and prepared dishes for our friends....I won. Winks. Pampering isn't always about giving money or gifts....its about spending quality time and doing thjngs together. If you have a decent woman she would appreciate that jnstead of money and gifts. If you have a gold digger than get three more jobs and good luck!! |
Are you being touchy touchy or saying things out of character....if so that explains it. |
I kid you not....I literally yawned!!! |
Only an ignorant person will think all light people are mixed. In UK....there is a Nigerian couple whom appeared to be darker than pleep black birthed a white ash baby with blond hair and ice eyes. |
Racism are on both sides....no one is innocent let us cut the bullshit and keep it real. |
2buff: ....I dread the day those MY-centric arguments start. You contradicted yourself...you said it should be in both names and flipped around to your name....what differwnce does it make when you both share community property? |
