MsDarkSkin: @kid, i know.I agree sis! Which is worse...opposition from those that looks like you or not? Exactly. |
KidStranglehold: The thing is MsDarkskin...AA's live in a WHITE dominated country. White people will never accept black people and will never really make black people equal to them. Here I'm mostly speaking for AA's. When AA's go to African countries like Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa,etc...They feel comfortable, because the people look like them and they don't have to worry about racism or bias. MsDarkskin I REALLY want blacks world wide to progress. If you look at the news Africa is progressing really fast. Angola economy is moving at a fast pace and in the future might be Africas star(Nigeria too if they get rid of their corruption).I disagree with a few things you said...there aren't much opportunities for BA and Carribs in Nigeria and a few other African countries...however Ghana has proven that BA/Carribs can excel without opposition and with much support. As Ms Darkskin was saying no one has to return home just to prove they accept Africa as their home but it isn't really home to them if they have never lived there. See home is where you lay your head proudly regardless if you are on BA a stolen land or not. It is what you make of it. Now...looking back when Haiti was colonized by the Spanish and French but managed to become the first Black Nation to rule then other Black countries followed suit. America was stolen and bartered several times before it became United States of America....the stolen products, i.e slaves through oppression fought like bulls and now they are free however with perks that benefits other Blacks and minorities that didn't have a hand in it. However you may think that BAs would never equal to Whites...think about it...to be forced as a White person to give accommodations or considerations to those inferior or else jail time is nearby. If that isn't a victory for many slaves who have died to make sure BAs were able to have access to decent education, health, housing, employment, and vote. It is a long ways coming but anything is better than nothing. |
My understanding of Haiti's history is that Haiti and Dominic Republic are actually distant relatives. If you look at the map...Haiti and DR aren't that far apart. I have some cousins that can pass for DR but they have Black parents. I believe when the Spanish got involved with slavery and trading they also dabbled into copulation which birthed a few of our yellow folks in the Carrib. If you go to Miami which is Small Haiti...you will meet Spanish, French, and HC speaking Haitians. Well Liberia/ns is pretty much ex-slaves that were able to return home after being stolen or sold. There are some BA living in Liberia but not in the capacity similar to Ghana. Ghana is safer than Liberia and I am sure if Liberia was able to prove safety...more BA would follow suit. In the Volta region...there are lands only given to BA and Carrib alone. I met a man who built his home in that region and created several real estates such as hotels and he has been there for 20 years. He offered to mentor my friend who is BA and Chinese...but his azz looks Mexican. If I lose my job cos of yall...I am staying with one of yall. How am I gon explain to Chima I got fired cos I was chatting at work? |
Glad I ain't married a momma boy! This is some bullshit! |
jeffizy: What is wrong with some ladies these days? Dating an obviously married man.Why would a married man date a single woman ![]() |
babiyo: I am six months pregnant. I am doing fine and so is my baby, but the issues is that my husband wants me to give birth through CS. Though he hasn't come out clearly with his reasons, I suspect its because he feels I won't be as tight again after giving birth which he feels might affect our sex life. Though I would love to give birth naturally, but I am also prepared to do everything to keep our love/sex life fun. I just want to know from mothers in the house if natural birthing process affects one tightness or if CS is a good option. ThanksSuga..not everyone is educated in the medical field nor have any idea of what to expect if they never had children personally. Your husband is ignorant and CS is a last resort for more severe medical reasons. Doctors will tell you vaginal births are encouraged because your vaginal canal expands to accommodate large things. Like Chaircover said...there are women who have had several kids vaginally and their husbands aren't complaining about loose vaginas. Tell your husband to go read a book by a OBGYN doctor and educate himself properly. |
dasparrow: Why do we Nigerians always like to blame the western nations for all our fvck ups? DGotdamn! I am glad to see there are Nigerians who keep it real even if it is about their people/coungry. ![]() |
drnoel: But then, everything should not begin and end with a woman's ass. If she is good enough to bed, then she should be good enough to wed??I understand your point because if a man doesn't think she is valuable enough to wed then he should move elsewhere...HOWEVER IF THE CHICK IS ACCEPTING IT...THEN WHO ARE WE TO MEDDLE IN THEIR BUSINESS? |
MRbrownJAY: why buy the damn cow when you can get the milk for free?! we all know that "many" women best behave when they know that they could be dropped at any minute. too many women have pumped up ego the minute they get married, thus start misbehaving or let themselves go.MBJ...I am still WHOOPING your azz but I agree with you wholeheartedly! If chicks don't value themselves then they shouldn't expect the type of men they want to show up! It is not always the man's fault what goes on in your life or how you accept to be treated. |
