ElsonMorali: Silly rantings from mediocre minds.
What were you expecting the President to say? That he is willing to break his oath of office by supporting secession, or that he is willing to risk impeachment for breaking the law and acting unconstitutionally by granting a referendum?
I'd say give them their country, but newsflash, we all spoilt this country and now you want to run away? No way! we will repair this country together then you can leave if you like. I had no comment till I stumble over "we spoilt this country and now you want to run away" If you want to know those who spoilt this country go ask your northern and western counterparts. It took them 56yrs to ruin this country they presided over. Lo, when GEJ came and achieved remarkable height, your people plotted and removed him. It took a Fulani man a year to spoil that which was built in six yrs by GEJ |

DonBobes: I have been hearing about issues, violence, havoc etc being recked by fulanis and their aids. It is exasperating to note that most of these atrocities were not actually committed by fulanis but hoodlums that also want the blames to be put on the Fulanis. My facts about the Fulanis are based on my experience in the field involving crisis attributed to the Fulanis. Follow me: 1. Fulanis are accommodating just like the yorubas. 2. Fulanis DO NOT burn religious houses when they attack(like the one in Mile 12, people started saying they were hausa/Fulanis). Never they don't. What they do is burn houses kill people etc but not religious houses. 3. They respect men in the Military, especially the Nigerian Army. 4. They DO NOT take religion to the extreme a similarity with the yorubas. 5. A Fulani can come to marry from your house & if possible change his religion because of that obligation. 6. Fulanis LOVE their cows more than anything else. I witnessed several incidents involving this. One is where a fulani herdsman's wife was in labour while the fulani was away with his cows. After several calls for him to come and attend to his wife in labour he didn't come back till he was through herding his cows. But it was late because the wife died during labour. 7. Fulanis are straight forward people. They have integrity. 8. They listen & obey their leaders(ADO). 9. THEY DO NOT FORGIVE. 10. Fulanis will not strike first except you strike them. 11. If their cows damage your crops or farm products they WILL PAY for the damages when the proof is there and you complain to them.
Add yours if you wish! Take you sermon to the mountains. There you will find antelope to deceive. Fulani has been wrecking havoc with their right from time immemorial. |

States like Edo,Delta,Benue etc know where they belong historically. We know that some of these states are needed for access to sea but do indigenes of these states not have a right to referendum( like #BREXIT or The Scottish poll to remain in UK) to decide if they want to be part of Nigeria continuously or not? PenSniper: That is delusional. It has nothing to do with dynamism. When you have no defined culture germaine to your society, the tendency is for you to copy the cultures of others.
Yorubas and Hausas have no reason to parrot your "culture" since they already know its partly copied from them and they are proud of their rich cultures anyway. Ethnic ignoramus. I am sure that you never attended any meaningful education, less your teacher would have taught you that culture is dynamic. Yoruba and awusa are too dull to learn. So let the Igbo's be. aminulive: Warn of terrible violence if election is rigged
Highlight influx of non-indigenes in the state
Says no security agency can stop them
Being a statement issued by New Odua People’s Congress (New OPC), Ondo State Chapter on the forthcoming Ondo governorship election to be held on Saturday, 26th November, 2016
Following disturbing developments in our State as regards the forthcoming Ondo governorship election, we wish to state as follows:
1) That we have observed with great concern the unusual influx of strange persons especially of the northern extraction into Ondo State on the eve of the gubernatorial election
2) We have also observed the needless invasion of our State by officials and men of APC-led federal government and we wonder what such people have come to do in this State even when they have no direct influence or bearing on the election
3) Credible reports have also reached us that this unusual influx and invasion of our state by agents of the federal government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) is to execute a rigging plan that has been concluded in connivance with INEC and the security agencies
4) Such agents who include the Minister of Mineral Resources, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Simon Lalung of Plateau State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State and their cohorts, who have no business in the state at this time, are given up until 6:00pm today to vacate the State after which their safety can no longer be guaranteed. We have restrained our people enough but the provocation by these elements is becoming too dangerous for us to stomach.
5) We are determined and no amount of security agencies can stop us. Enough is enough!
6) We hereby call on all Ondolites and friends of Ondo to be on the lookout for these elements and chase them away from the State at the expiration of the 6:00pm deadline. Anyone who takes our warning for granted does so at his or her own risk
7) Based on the foregoing, we wish to state categorically clear that we will resist every form of rigging, inducement and or manipulation no matter how sophisticated or elaborate it might be
Let us warn that the people of Ondo State are battle-ready to resist every form of intimidation and harassment from any quarters. Ondo and Edo may sound alike but we will not allow what “killed” our brothers in Edo to kill us in Ondo
9) Anyone found to be involved in any way in any rigging plans should be ready to face the dire consequences of their actions. This is our State, and we are not ready to surrender it to retrogressive forces parading themselves as agents of change. Those who say we would not sleep in Ondo State must also be ready to either remain awake for a very long while or rest in peace. The choice is theirs.
10) Those who plunged Nigeria into unprecedented recession, executive brigandage, insecurity, famine, job losses, weakened currency etc should not expect us to surrender our State to them
11) We hereby call on all Ondolites to be vigilant and rise to the occasion, vote and watch over their votes till the last stages.
12) They should also arm themselves with as many electronic devices like camcorders, phones, voice recorders and such other similar devices as possible to record events at their respective centres especially capturing on record those who are collaborating with perpetrators of rigging be it they security agents, INEC officials etc
13) Finally, we are watching. To be forewarned is to be forearmed
Signed: Kunle Famuyiwa Leader Operation Rig and Die: Rigging in Ondo State would be Resisted Ferociously
http://politicsngr.com/ondo-elections-rig-die-opc-threatens-federal-government/ I thought were serious but when I read on I discovered they were also partisan.
