House, please help. My brother received an unconditional offer for March admission and has made the required deposit. He was told by his agent that the CAS was ready, but they do not have a copy for him and he doesn't need to see it. CAS shield shows locked, and no email from the university. The agent said everything needs to be handled by them, and he should simply wait until his POF is ready, after which they will take care of his submission. When he tried to question this and asked the school to step in, they told him to deal with the agent.

I have read online about incorrect information appearing on CAS documents, and it seems everyone else gets to see their CAS. However, the agent said this is a new rule. Is this correct, especially for January, February, or March admissions?

Good evening house, I applied for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portsmouth for September 2024. I later deferred the admission to January 2025 which I made 6k deposit in the early August, 2024. Now after completed my CAS Shield yesterday, expecting to receive CAS but this is what I got instead. I don't know how they arrived at this decision. Meanwhile, money is not the problem. Pls what do you think I can do? Thanks in advance!

1. I want to know if I can get a school that accepts below 5k down-payment with a convenient payment plan. If yes, can you recommend any? Yes, Teesside University, and others... You have to specify your course of interest.

2. I hope over 10yrs study gap won't affect my chances of getting admission. No it won't if you have an explanation for the study gap. I believe you have been working.

3. And lastly, will the maintenance increase for international students pose a serious financial implication on my application. You must add it to the living expenses.

Why do you need agent for anything to do with admission or visa application? Admission application is FREE and there are truckloads of information to help you every step of the process.

Regarding the deferment I would have long deferred to January but my Course only accept New Intakes in September. And the school gave me some time. According to them they spoke to my lecturers regarding me. And they are willing to adjust.

Hello Gurus. Please I need your advice. I did my biometrics 30th of August and I was asked for an online interview scheduled for 20th of September during the course of the interview network was really bad so the interviewer had to leave the meeting. I got in contact with my school and the UKVI later scheduled another interview for OCT 9. And this other interview was scheduled for 11 in the morning during the Interview the interviewer asked some questions to which I answered. And he also told me that he will like to confirm somethings from my school and that we will continue the interview in the evening. In the evening we did the interview although the network was also not stable. So all this while I've been waiting because my school resumed Sept 23. I did a paid call on monday and was told a decision has been made. Only for me to get the email today and it was a denial. Reasons being that; they said I'm not a genuine student. And they also said I can do an administrative review. In the decision letter sent to me. The date which they said I did the interview was incorrect. It was 6 days before I went for biometrics. That's what they wrote as the day I did the interview. And that's wrong. ...

My question is should I apply for administrative review and can I ask them to reschedule another live interview and not online interview because of network?

Good day everyone,
I have been expecting a decision on my Visa, at first they asked for evidence of what I have been doing since I graduated in 2016,i provided everything, all my offer letters and 2 reference letters from my current job, they then sent a mail the next day requesting for bank statement of about 28,500 pounds, this figure was wrong as they didn't put into consideration my 4500 scholarship given by the school as stated in my CAS, I replied the mail with evidence that what I needed to proof as funds was 24,000 pounds, I resent my bank statement and I highlighted the part of my CAS that stated I was given a scholarship of 4500, I sent the statement and evidence of my scholarship as stated on my CAS on Thursday last week, today is Monday and today makes it 15 working days since I did my biometric on the 9th of September.. My school university of Essex begins lectures on the 3rd of October for my course,which is this week, pls who has an idea what I can do.. A paid mail or what exactly?

Please I was interviewed for a course and was told by the lecturer that I would have to upload some documents however after the interview he congratulated me meaning I pasted the interview.

I wanted to know where I could upload my documents he requested his mail or would they open a portal for me?

For those that fill on their visa application forms they are not travelling with their spouse or kids… when they get visas, they decide to do ‘different’ and opposite of what they said… see this refusal a friend just received.. maybe take things like this into consideration before changing plans in view of ‘sharpness’
Also always provide an explanation why you have suddenly decided to change plans. You must address this bit.

Good morning, and thank you for your response. As mentioned earlier, I work for a local government in Bauchi and already have a reference letter from my boss. I noticed a discrepancy: my promotion letters are on a letterhead from the Bauchi State Local Government Commission, while the reference letter from my current local government is on a Bogoro Local Government letterhead.

Given that my reference letter includes my start date and current status, I created a cover letter detailing my journey from graduation through my initial appointment, all promotions, and transfers, including dates and grade levels. I clarified that my reference is from my current local government.

I work with a local government in Bauchi, and my appointment and promotion letters feature the Bauchi State Local Government Commission letterhead. However, I need to use a reference from the local government I work with, which is Bogoro Local Government, and it has a different letterhead. Will this be an issue? Thank you.

I need your advice on a matter. I work with local government, and my appointment letter lists a lower annual salary. Is it advisable to submit this appointment letter? My promotion letters from 2009 to the present do not mention any salary. I’m considering submitting only the promotion letters to show the study gap as I’m concerned that the appointment letter with the lower salary might be a red flag.
