What is the total tuition fee?
Add the unpaid tuition fee and living expenses to get the proof of funds you need to show. 10m is not enough.

Please my cousins Visa was refused because she used non genuine bank statement and she has received here refusal mail. My question now is

1. When is it likely for them to call her to pick up her passport
2. She received the refusal mail since Friday and she is yet to receive mail for her to pick her passport from VAC
3. Are they going to withhold her passport
4. Also the school said they won’t refund because of the refusal reason.. is this contestable.

PS: She is devastated already and she knows she did wrong by submitting fake bank statement. Way forward is what she needs. Thanks as you are kind with your responses

It depends on the refund policy of the school.
Try and share the name of the school let's see if we can assist.

Good day everyone. Please help. Aside marriage certificate, wedding pictures, pictures with children, wedding invitation card, what else can one use as proof of relationship for a couple who has been married for 14years and one of the partner is already in the UK for five months.

Joint account, tenancy agreements, utility bills, children's birth certificates, evidence of communication (WhatsApp or social media Messages), and pictures of them together anywhere could be helpful.

This has to do with the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization). This was introduced last year for countries who do not need a visa to enter the AUK.

For now this for nationals of Bahrain, Jordan, Oman Saudi Arabia, UAE.

Hello everyone,

I’m about to apply for a standard UK visitor visa for my wife. We plan on traveling together over the holidays, but my wife was refused a visa when we applied earlier this year. I already had a 2 year visa which was granted in 2022 by the time we applied for her visa.

She was refused because the clearance officer felt her monthly income (N450,000) was too little to pay for the expected cost of the trip (N800,000) even though she had about 12k USD in her personal dom accounts. This was also even though we had put that I (as her husband) would sponsor the entirety of her trip and I had enough income (N1.5M per month) and savings (25k USD) to cover the costs.

Can any visa gurus advise on the best way going forward to avoid another refusal. Please note we later applied for a France Schengen visa a few weeks after her refusal and were granted the visa so it’s quite confusing why the UK denied her.

I would advise you to visit your branch and speak with the account officer there to find out if this will be possible.

I learnt CBN are no longer providing FX to banks and banks have to source for FX for their customers.

Because processing TCC will cost you money so in the end it doesn’t look like you wasted your money by paying tax.

Most Universities in U.K. requires you to pay deposit before you are insured CAS, saying not to put eggs in one basket does not suffice in this matter, CAS is normal difficult to get in most Universities around this time, the best way is to always start early and if you know you are late better you research Universities that issues CAS easily. Eg Swansea, Stirling etc

I don't think you can get CAS again for this intake. I would advise you to reach out to the school if they can transfer your admission to the next available intake, which I believe won't be possible because it's already too late to defer.

You will have to apply for a refund of your initial deposit or you apply for the next intake.

Note: You can't make this request right now due to T&C of your offer, keep trying to reach out to the school.

You will need an email to login to each child's profile. For me, I decided to create new emails to avoid any confusion. New email is free ooo and you don't end up with any mix up. The email for approval came into the new emails I set up and I plan to even hand over the email address to my kids when they're old enough to manage it

No argument here just they are minors. If you are to fill a US application and they ask for social media account does it mean you must create one for them if they don't have?! In the right sense how can a 6 year old have an email address?!

They are your kids and you don’t need to open a new Gmail account for them. You can always use your Gmail account for the application.
