I applied for my child's passport when it was three months to expire.
I went for collection today and the message they gave me was " AR - Your Application was rejected proceed to Servicecom unit."

They claimed it's an offence to apply for Passport when the current one has not expired. I insisted that the the passport was three months to expire and so we are not in the wrong here.

Who has experienced this and do I go about it? Please help a worried mother.

The stupid agent that I used is not an immigration officer and I'm sure he filled everything by himself online.

There's no law about this. Even if it's 6 months you can also renew it but pay a higher fee.

So I presume that you have done your biometrics.

My dependant have their POF in my spouse name and they will we apply 1 week after i submit my application

Just curious about my POF as the main application because the pof for MA and depandant is 35m but i applying with 18m POF which is for main Applicant only. Hope am not required to show dependants POF in my own application as the MA. Thank you

You can go ahead and submit the application for all applicants from your explanation.
Use the POF for you to apply and use that for your dependant that's on their name to apply for the dependants. It's much better to do a joint application if the both POF has been in the account for more than 28 days.

I and my dependants were supposed to apply at the same time but due to lack of funds for pof to apply all together we decided to raise pof for MA only and wait for maturity buh later we able to start pof for dependant in spouse account 2weeks after that of MA, that means depandant can apply 2 week after MA because of the difference in POF maturity

Now the Questions

Filling the application i got a question if i will be travelling with dependant and i tot if i answer YES and fill details of my dependant wont the POF require fund enough for my depenants also even if they are to apply 2 weeks after mine. Here am confused and MA cant wait for the depandant pof to mature b4 application.

And another question i saw was if anyone is depending on me financially, since my POF is only for MA i think answering NO will do.

Are you the dependent?

If you are filing for your dependants, you can answer no, that there's no one depending on you financially.

I hope you are using a separate SOA for this application if not be ready to defend that the funds is not been recycled.

This is regarding the finance aspect. My husband who is on spouse visa (2nd half of the 5yrs) is currently apply for his last child to join us.
My salary is enough to cover the financial requirements (after adding all other children) but his is below.
Is it sufficient if I provide only my financial evidence for this application, or does he need to provide his too?

We can provide his but it is too tedious going to get a letter from his previous employers as they need 12months evidence.

My question is: the child in question is dependent on him not me but since we are married, Can we only provide my payslips and bank statements for this application or do we need his too?

We did our biometrics at tlsIkeja on the 28th of July and we have since been tracking and monitoring, no mail at all but we knew our bank was contacted and they confirmed our proof of funds.

This morning the tracker changed to "Application Transferred To VAC", but still no mail, nsf, or brp, none.

Please should I be worried, I feel so shaky.

My final exams were just released, and I just confirmed my CGPA, you may be thinking why I am excited over it even though it's not first class but let me explain briefly.

Starting school at a young age, I had a tough time taking my studies seriously. I didn't pay much attention to my notes. This carried on into secondary school, where my grades were just average. I managed to score 188 in JAMB, 230 in my POST UTME, got 1b, and C's in my NECO, which I used to process my admission cos my school WAEC was withheld, and I didn't bother to retake it.

I was only 15 when I started university, a friend's candid portrayal of university life had prepared me for what lay ahead, or so I thought.

My first challenge was my roommate, a very unserious fellow. His mockery of my attempts to establish disciplined study habits took its toll on me, leading to a particularly trying semester during which I had 3 carry-overs, my worst ever.

Before the next semester began, I talked to my family about changing my lodge. They advised me to stay where I was until my second year, but deep down, I knew it wasn't right for me. So, I had to hustle up cash and with the help of my beloved aunt (RIP Ma'am) I was able to rent my own space, the best and most expensive lodge around school as at that time…

I will stay alone until further notice this time, the GP hustle began. I would read and read, only me, as I never liked group reading or night class stuff. I began to excel academically, was a thing of joy, the last time I felt that brilliant was during my Junior secondary school days.

While I was improving my grades, I also needed to earn money. My family's support decreased because my dad was sick. So, I had to balance between learning skills for financial independence and keeping up with my studies. It wasn't easy, and I missed classes sometimes, but I kept trying. Eventually, things got better, and I was even able to buy a car last year.

But life threw a big challenge at me during the first semester of my final year, my dad passed away. I had to handle a lot of responsibilities as the first son, and to make things tougher, my uncles scheduled the burial a few days before my exams. I was sick during the exams, but I pushed through and did my best.

And now, the results are out, and I did really well. I've overcome this phase of my life, and I'm so grateful. It's not just about the grades; it's about the journey of going from struggling to succeeding. Thank God for guiding me through it all.

Haven't heard of such a refusal because of the status of the company on CAC CRP.
Just use company letterhead paper and ensure the email and phone number are there for correspondence.

Someone applied for visa through an agent. He gave all the documents including his bank statement to the agent.

He got a call today from bank, that the bank statement he submitted was a fake one. We believe that the agent edited the bank statement.

Arrest that agent for falsifying a document. That's if the applicant is not party to it.

But hope you are sure this payment was successful.
Do you have the email correspondence directly from he bank? I will suggest you forward it to the school.
You can also request the bank directly write to the school to resolve this.

Where you contacted via email to provide this evidence? To whom it may concern works since you weren't given a specific address, but it should be on your company letterhead, and there should be a form of contact email just in case they want to verify it.

Study gap is you trying to explain what you have been doing all this while you were away from school. If you have been working, your company must write a reference letter stating your date of employment etcetera.
