Atturu:It would help if you were more specific with your course of interest. |
Damilare5882:But they won’t book Airpeace to return back. I feel the time they spent here should be use to trek round to look for a job. People are here paying full tuition before they even apply for CAS and the same UK my friends finished and got good jobs. They should ask the right questions and link up with people above them. |
ChiomaMC:No it is not going to be a problem. If it raises concern do an Affidavit. |
boneruns:It will be nice to stop playing the blame game once and take responsibility for your decisions. Abroad is not a joke. Do you think it's easy to pay over 800,000 Naira for rent per month?! This is what ai normally ask people looking to Japan and their reply will always be when they get to that bridge they will cross it. When they finally get to that bridge they will be looking for who to put the blame on. I guess you can blame it on Akon *pun intended* People are doing more than one job to survive and one wants to use 20 hours of work to pay the balance of tuition fees and living expenses. Well, what God can't do doesn't exist. Have Faith no mountain is insurmountable. |
TelegramLord:Yes, this at the discretion of the CO. |
Chimama1:Yes, you can use your mobile phone. They just trying to check if you are a bona fide student. Know the course modules, why you choose to study in the chosen program and university, course tuition and living expenses, and your plans after graduation. |
Samhyme:You weren'just lucky. But getting a PhD to grow in a company instead of an MBA is 🫠 Work on your response to that and give it a trial. |
WaleTP:Reach out to your bank. They will have to escalate this. |

Treadway:They think it is a good publicity 🙁 |
Teamfrosh1201:It was never certain, it is just that Nigerians know the rules to follow to guarantee their study visa. Of course these are recent. |
Atturu:What is your program of interest? Are you looking research-based program or a course-based? |
Atturu:What do you need? |
fullclub:Do you think so?! I know people with real funds who have been denied a study visa. Also, pray the embassy doesn't call you for an interview and you can't prove you know about the school. |
Emmanuelorionja:Be checking your mail. No cause for alarm as it will eventually drop this week. Yeah, it happens. 24th May was a Friday. You will get it this week. |
Election tactics 😂 |
Cashmadam:The embassy in Lagos has a POS. So you can pay either by cash or card. |
Follak:What's the name of this University? You need to understand that some schools have what they call enrolment fee and you have to read their refund policy if not say otilor. During your CAS questionnaire, some schools asked you some specific questions and some required you to accept applying for a priority visa if you were going to submit your visa application with a specific window but most Nigerians do not care to read all this and just be clicking yes to everything. |
Cashmadam:Very strange indeed. Most times some airport staff will just try to reap off where they didn't sow. |
pinkprincess87:Did you call their customer care? |
IggyAzalea:Is there any where I said it wasn't by merit?! I am communicating with Nigerians and I believe they understand the message conveyed. You should have corrected me by saying that's not applicable to all schools. Shalom! |
IggyAzalea:What happens if the school if the available budget is for 20 students and 50 students with a first-class applies?! |
Sisib15:He/she is allowed to try their luck. If he can convince the consular officer during his interview I don't see why he won't get his visa. He has to be prepared to explain beyond a reasonable doubt his study gap. If he can't convince himself then there's no need to go there. You and I can't are not the author of his fate! Shalom! |
Phayn:Use your GTB app or go to the bank |
Abimos2205:Have you gotten your CAS? Most schools usually effect this scholarship on the CAS. |
HenryG:It can't be less than 6 months. Anyone going studying a program less than 6 months doesn’t need to apply for a student visa. |
fullclub:Tell them to change their ways. If you don’t have the money to be a bona fide student, then go to Qatar and other countries to hustle. Tell them to stop cheating a system and look they should learn to blame the man in the mirror and change their ways. A student visa is for students and a work visa is there. Yes, everyone has a different story as I know people who did good courses and went to top schools in the UK and are doing pretty well in the UK with job placement from the companies they did placement with. Since the UK need UK work experience then it's better for one to go for courses that offer such placement after the 1-year program don't you think?! |
WendieT:the later is the fee you are going to pay. IHS fee was reviewed and it became effective February. $1518 for your 9 months program. |
uptownagain:It is a point-based system and everyone needs to understand, that their profile is different. Major thing you should be ready to present good documents that will satisfy the consular officer that you have the funds and that you will leave the UK after your visitation. A strong purpose of intent will be able to convince the officer why you need it. |
Vikkystar:£1023 * 9 is living cost for the duration of your one year program. Add that to the balance of your tuition fee (£8,380). £17,587 is your POF. Use oanda to convert to Naira and add some miscellaneous 2m Naira (if you can afford it) due to FX volatility. Your mom can provide her account statement if she is having the same surname with you. Shalom! |
Aim07:You can’t be allowed in on Wednesday because you have canceled that appointment. |
