When i was in college , I had this Nigerian guy that was expelled from school due to some nonsense he performed in his department. The guy relocated to another state , got another admission in another school that helped him re instate his I.20 and last year he graduated from Nursing LPN. Hes now working and living good..

What im i saying in essence is , the experience will never be good at first, FOCUS, PRAYER and HARDWORK na him go help you .. NOT FLYING AROUND WITH NEGATIVE NEWS.

Guys, ensure you have 50-70% of your tuition ready to be paid before you leave Nigeria if you’re going for Masters in the Uk. No jokes, it’s not funny now.

While for undergraduate, get the complete one year deposit in full before you leave Nigeria. It’s not exaggeration, it’s not funny at all. Don’t get that hope you will pay your balance while working here.

If I knew what I know now, I might have considered other countries for my postgraduate study. The uncertainty surrounding Uk student-PSW/CoS-ILR isn’t a joke.

Ensure you plan very well. A lot of people were misled by their Agents, they got here and became stuck.

Finally, if you can, consider other countries in Europe.

It will be nice to stop playing the blame game once and take responsibility for your decisions.

Still waiting for decision on my visa. But honestly I hope there won't be a decision until June 17 when enrollment closes in my school so I can get a refund. I've been having panic attacks since I read here about recent the present UK not so good for student visa. My school collected £5500 tuition deposit. After mailing them about not getting a decision yet on my visa, I was asked to enroll and start accessing online materials. At the point of doing so, I was asked to pay 50% of my tuition balance, £4975. I consulted a friend who advised I wait until the outcome of my visa because the school's refund policy is not on their website. The initial agreement is £5500 tuition deposit, 50% tuition balance at the beginning of the second semester and the balance of 50% tuition deposit at the beginning of the 3rd semester.
Honestly, I just want my money back. I will stay in Nigeria and go back to my poultry business and add mixed crop farming with my job at the hospital.If their immigration policies go back to being fair, I can think of going there if there are better opportunities

What's the name of this University?
You need to understand that some schools have what they call enrolment fee and you have to read their refund policy if not say otilor.

During your CAS questionnaire, some schools asked you some specific questions and some required you to accept applying for a priority visa if you were going to submit your visa application with a specific window but most Nigerians do not care to read all this and just be clicking yes to everything.

Ever since the payment, the plumpter app hasn’t been replying me, I have sent series of mails to them, even sent a letter through DHL but no reply. Can anyone help out on how I can recover my money from plumpter. It’s 3 months now and no response from them.

Stop giving people wrong advice . He is 32 and going to the embassy with a college i20 ,do you think that will get him an approval considering high rate of denials recently even for PHDstudents. Tell people the truth, everything is not about admission, the most important thing is the approval.

He/she is allowed to try their luck.
If he can convince the consular officer during his interview I don't see why he won't get his visa.

He has to be prepared to explain beyond a reasonable doubt his study gap.

If he can't convince himself then there's no need to go there.

You and I can't are not the author of his fate!

I amended my biometrics date due some changes in my plan from early to late, now something came up which distrupted my earlier plan.

I have two email appointment confirmation for that I can print out for my biometrics, one is Wednesday and the second one is Friday. I have Friday showing on my account for biometric day.
