Why can’t one of your parent act as the sponsor because I believe he is going for an undergraduate program.

Please, while trying to pay for the visa fee online, the old passport number was used mistakenly and the receipt issued with the old passpord number. Please who has had this experience before? How can we correct the mistake? Will it have any effect on acquiring the visa as we are considering IW.

It doesn’t matter who is paying and no proof required as long as you made used of your email address, you will get a notification and receipt there.

Jeez, if you don't have an answer to his question don't reply. This forum is for UK visa inquiries, go open another forum "why you shouldn't come to the UK" and pour out your frustrations there. He isn't using your money for his Japa process.
We all read the news, people have family and friends who give them updates about UK and still people japa and still make it over there. If UK doesn't favor you, we have people who relocate to other countries or return back to NIgeria. If one gets deported...so what? How is it your business? If he struggles over there, e concern you? Save your advices for your family members who are in need of it. In the meantime, allow people who have concerns about their visa issues to get comfortable posting on this thread and people who have genuine answers can answer. This is what the thread is for. You have probably gotten your visa and have traveled and I'm sure people assisted you when you had questions.

What if this becomes the best decision you ever made?! There's no need to compare your life with what others are facing.
In Nigeria, some are facing financial difficulty while others are balling.

Have a backup plan. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and understand you can't go through life alone. Don't isolate yourself. Join the right club/association and surround yourself with like-minded people.

Urgent please! If you have to do POF before CAS issuance, do you have to do for your dependant you want to go with? Mind you, a new POF is intended to be made for visa application.

Keep it up then tomorrow come and complain here that the UK is not favourable. Have you seen a foreigner doing POF to come to Nigeria?!

Better do a thorough risk assessment and know what you are getting yourself into. Can you survive without getting a job?!

Ireland asylum don cast like UK own so the best is to cross to other EU countries using ur BRP then from that country cross by train to another country EU countries then seek asylum. Maybe from Austria then cross by train to Germany and claim asylum.
Before it was from Belfast in Northern Ireland then by uber to Ireland Dublin. But now they are threatening to deport them back to UK as they now found out.

Please note that this option is the last option before thinking of returning back to Nigeria.

UK is sweet if u have the money and if u have full time working visa. But on the extreme is student visa that limits u totally to jobs. Employers go just ask for ur share codes and once it return 20 hours limit to work that's the end.


For those people convincing people to come to UK and even have another handle or contact for POF na God go judge them. They should be open and explain things to people let them be aware of things on ground.
Me personally the Nigerian school agent was the one telling me to do POF and then I was telling him that I don't think I have sufficient money. He said I better do fast before dependant go close.
Although I came with dependant but to be honest it hasn't be easy.

If life is not easy in someone’s Fatherland I wonder the magic they expect going to a foreign land to start afresh without having anyone.

J know a lots of influencers are here viewing this discussion with their numerous handles. All they care is their commission from UK universities not minding what their country men goes through.

Although I found out that most universities are failing to pay them their commissions especially for this January set that left due to their inability to pay their fees. This influencers are now advertising other European schools like Portugal, Malta etc. And have secured partnership with this schools. They won't ask u to pay them money but they are paid well by this uni to help them secure n convince Nigerian recruit as they call us

Please my follow Nigerians do ur research well don't follow anyone when it comes to student visa.
Some will say pay for hand job de.. when u haven't seen regular jobs yet where u wan see pay in hand

After deceiving the embassy with POF you are here crying foul play.

It’s only difficult for those who believe without relevant working experience they can make it within a year traveling abroad.

Probably, you failed to do your risk assessment.

If the ECO is not satisfied they will call for an interview.

After he has submitted his application and has gone for his biometric he might get an email where the interview location will be specified.

Hey you are in the US.!!! They expect that for your company to generate such amount in the USA, a first world nation maybe it is legit and on a balance of probabilities you are more legit or at least could be credible to some extent and would take a chance on you.
I can assure you this your friend is in Nigeria, a 3rd world nation, making such claims without any proof whatsoever… and to top it all negatively… he might have no travel history or no investments or no assets. Anyone with such a profile owning a 600 million naira profit company , their financial standing would show for it.
It is not about making claims on a paper from Nigeria as you say he wrote a cover letter. Your circumstances and his are not at all same!
I can bet you this person did all this to inflate his circumstances. Do you know what it is to be the owner of a business making profits of 600 million naira annually in Nigeria? Nahh mehn. This person should upload everything even if there are 1 million documents . They want to see it please .
Tax certificates, number of staff, payslips, invoices, MOUs … the money they have claimed is a lot.. how many businesses in Nigeria make such..

600 million probably its the turnover and possible if he runs a dealership.

Last statement is a rumor. Apply yourself and later the family can always join you. No one expect you to leave your family behind for 3 years. These guys are family oriented.


You can also decide to apply together.

The ball is in your court and it depends on how you are able to convince the CO why you want to travel with your family and how you will be able to cater for them.

Hello, good day all. Someone based in Uk paid school fees (3500pounds) for my family member last year. He paid with the exact exchange rate as at then, (Black market). He charged us for the services and we paid expensively for it. Unfortunately, he couldn't make it to UK due to the school inability to issue him CAS because it was late already. Now we are talking about collecting the school fees back, we were advised to open a domiciliary account and ask the guy to send it in pounds. He refused and said he will only send the amount we paid to him in naira, we didn't pay him in pounds. Please what do you guys think?

I will advise you not to claim any right here because if tomorrow the exchange rate falls you won't be demanding payment in £.

You paid him in Naira and he is to refund in Naira.

Moreover, do you have any legal documents with him/her?

That's not right...he's a crook...

U will have to try and engage the school...that the person that paid on ur behalf was a money payment agent.......and crediting him back might cause the money to be lost as he was only someone u engage his services through online sources

Just ask if they can kindly allow can u submit ur own domiciliary account reading the name of the student....

This won’t be possible because the school can only credit the account the money originated from.

Providing another account is like someone gaining access to the email address and trying to divert funds.

Better you work with whoever made the payment and reach a of compromise.

- I plan to use an employment recommendation letter from my nysc ppa to apply for admission since I haven't done any formal jobs since I passed out march 2023. Will I be asked to submit employment letter or id and payslip during my Visa application if I do use it?

UKVI request interviews at the discretion of the officer but most common with schools that don’t conduct their pre-cas assessment (interview).

Just upload your NYSC certificate.
Don’t complicate things by uploading employment letter.
