Just declare it and submit the appropriate documents.
If you have a study gap, provide documents showing what you having been doing since graduation.

With your first class I would advise you to look at schools in the US, GSU should be your top priority to get full funding except there’s a specific reason you choose to study in the UK.

You have less than 2 years study gap.
Your NYSC certificate should suffice.

Applied for the Spring 2025 to University of Colorado Boulder as a transfer applicant using my 100Level transcript. My CGPA is 3.62.
On my secondary school transcript there was no gpa but scored As few Bs and few Cs so the person doing the application for me decided to put 88/100 where GPA was required without calculating, will this be an issue? Will it mar my chances of securing admission?

Also, they demanded for Academic history and I uploaded transcript and NECO instead. I want to know if this will be an issue.

You have to request for your University to send your transcript since you are applying as a transfer student.

Please I need your advice and some words of encouragement won't be bad as the wait for a response doesn't get any better as days go by.

So I did my online application on the 10th of July and biometric on the 16th. On the 22nd of, July, I got an NSF mail asking for additional documents. Submitted all documents and a letter of explanation on the 23rd. I got an automated mail confirming they received my mail but I haven't gotten any response from UKVI up until this moment. Application tracking is still at DCM.

I intend to wait until Monday as that's the end of the 3 weeks since biometrics and 14 days since my response to NSF mail before I make a paid call or email. So my questions are

1. How do I make a paid call or email (which works better and faster)?
2. How do I escalate the matter if need be?
3. Do I need to be worried at this point?
4. Is anyone having a similar experience?

Probably they are trying to verify the additional documents.

My sister submitted her student application since June 24th and on 27th they schedule her for online interview for 5th of July immediately after the interview she was asked to resend her statement of account which she did immediately since then nothing have been said and the passport is still pending showing received by DMC . What's your GPA?! The 2.2 doesn't matter.

The University of Permian Basin is there since you are a Geologist and it fits your budget.


There are other schools in the US you can apply to.


You should look at getting your transcript evaluated by WES if you have the finances for it so it doesn't restrict your applications to schools.

Hear my story.

My aunt staying in the UK called me about two years back and said she has given my number to a travel agent to help me prepare documents for a visa application. He called me later and asked some questions about where I work and if I'm married. I did told him I'm single and self-employed running a very small business.

He told me to liaise with a company probably a Microfinance Bank, to speak to the manager about slotting me into a post with a reasonable salary on paper. The company will as well prepare a statement of account for me, which the embassy can actually verify if mail was sent to the company. All these were done.

In preparation for the Documents needed for the visa application, he got a marriage certificate, birth certificate of my imaginary child, CAC Business certificate ( I have this one), My passport was stamped for a country in the middle east ( to get my passport deflowered) A Landed property; all these to ascertain I have ties with my home country.
Unfortunately, I was denied( I will attach the refusal letter) the visiting visa on the reason that they are not really certain of my true intention and not sure I will leave after my vacation there.

Now to present Day, I applied to some institutions, in which I have secured an unconditional offer in one of the schools, I have paid my initial deposit of tuition fee while I'm waiting for POf to mature before using it for the visa application. Honestly I'm confused as to how to go about filling it when the time comes on Maritals and the answer to if I have dependants. Won't this prompt more documents to show I'm married and also have a child.

I have access to using this company(Microfinance Bank) as a study gap evidence but I'm not sure if my CAC could do some works too as I don't have all these tax receipts of a thing, though i do pay my annual return and it's active on CAC website. Which one would you advice I use?.

Just one information when was this application done? Has it been up to a year??

Since this a different class of visa, there won't be much issues regarding all this because the goal of this visa is to study in the UK and they only want to check if your intentions are real.

I have over 5 years study gab. I have worked with few private firms and these employers are closed friends. I was never given an employment letter or a payslip. Everything was handy you know. I have already explained myself my study gab letter and a reference letter from one my employer back then which was accepted by the school. For now I'm self employed.
I was told here that the reference letter is enough. Pls how true is this? What should I do if otherwise. My body dey shake😂. Pls respond.

Reference letter is enough but you can make it official by doing an affidavit just as you have explained here.

My POF was removed for reason beyond my control and I fell back on the UKVI rule.

I guess this is your only interpretation of deception (is when you submit a falsified document and not about the information you gave in your application if the money (POF) is available? In the law you quoted, I guess it was stated there verbatim that you can withdraw the POF after 28 days.

It's funny as you are trying to bend the rules to favor you.

Last year you got your visa after terminating your POF for three weeks and you thought if the postal applied the same principle this year he would get his visa.

With the current wave of Nigerians dropping out of schools making the news it is funny you would even mention what you did last year so someone can copy it in 2024.
