To God be d glory we finally landed in Melbourne Thurdays 30, 2016 @08:45 am. Thanks to everyone on this forum. And I pray for those who are still expecting their visas, shall receive their blessings soon, with d golden mail of uplifting. Bless u all aceBlazer: Hello good people, I'd like to learn from all those that already migrated... •At what point do you get to declare those strange foodstuffs, who asks for the declaration? A declaration card will be given to you in the airplane just declare all. I had all sorts (e.g pap, yam flour, egusi, ogbono, pepper, bitter leaf, poundo yam, garrison ijebu) and I was not checked, we were only asked and was told to proceed . •what's the best mode of packaging to avoid their wahala or all those security dogs sniffing some strange smells from the bags and thus raising eyebrow It is advisable you put them in Ziploc bags and label with both scientific and local name, Also i didn't see any security dog at the Poe. •at what point do you also declare your hard currency... Dollar precisely... Any minimum or maximum amount required to carry on the trip? At exit at Nigeria also at entry point but is no issue it is only when you have above the $10,000 treshold. There is no minimum amount you are required cos we were not asked at all.
And for all those waiting for a grant... It will surely come as long your documents are authentic and properly tendered. They are also aware of all the resumption dates and they will do the needful before it's too late.
Regards to y'all |

@Stanleyelege i suggest you send a mail to the school and also call them at about 11pm Nigeria time, talk to them and discuss your options. As regards applying with wify i suggest as soon as you get your Coe, pay using your debit card for OSHC for single person policy for her(so as to save time instead of just reapplying for form A) and include her in the visa application. Adding or not adding your spouse or family members is not a determinant of your visa issuance. Best of luck For those that have gotten their visa grant. Congrats. Please use of iomaustralia(cheaper) and endevour to book early cause july is the peak period. Cottyekundayo: Sometimes en. It's just better when we do these things ourselves. And with the NL guidance, you have more than an agency, with experience from different folks the forum serves you well FOR FREE. Maybe you should take over discussions with your school. Or you be at the forefront. These agents want money, they do the things you will still do. Meet him/her, tell him/her to show you the mails he/ she has exchanged with the school mgt. Then you will know the steps to take as regards challenging the policy . I had a situation with my institution, and with detailed explanation... it was settled.
Best regards |

Stanleyelege: Thanks to all commentators here.
My earlier question of applying with my wife has been concluded. My wife will apply separately few months after mine is granted. My decision was necessitated by the saying "Ýou dont test the depth of a river with ur two legs.
I have competed the form A on the 13th of June with diamond bank, Asaba.
May God grant all of us with our heart desires in Jesus name. amen. |

Your Uncle can serve as as your sponsor, i will advise you apply with your wife. the process is the same and no need to submit statement of account but if you intend applying later you will need to submit a statement of account. Stanleyelege: Thank you west Africa.
Am applying for visa subclass 573. My uncle in question doesn't bear my surname o. He has a statement of account of 7.5m. The quoted sum includes my tuition fee of 26,000aud..
Maybe I will do mine first and if successful, I'll send for her . God willing

Thank you bellong for your prompt response bellong: I am sorry, I can't be of help in this instance. I am not an Engineer .
Mrsoje,
To get points for partner skill, your partner must get a positive assessment from skills assessment and English test.
You can't claim point while still studying, it must be after you earn the qualifications.
All the documents needed are specified in all the links provided. |

From what i understand from the form. PART B will be filled when they are coming to join you in aussie. Part C will be filled if they are applying with you now. for the column to include your family member details i have no idea ooh. On second thot i think you should add them to the PART C 76. Family name Given names Give details of all members of your family unit whether or not they intend to accompany you to Australia. Lets wait for the guru. shinerpoly: dear all, pls which part of visa application form (part B or part C) I'm going to include my family member detail (note wife & daughter joining me later) just for declaration for Immi to have their records.
Thank u |
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by mrsoje(f): 10:53am On May 09, 2016 |
@shinerpoly i understand. All the best in your endevours. It will end in praise. shinerpoly: @mrsoje thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion. I would have loved them to apply with me right now, but there are few things I must put into consideration.
For instance, my daughter is 5 years above which implies I have to enroll her in Australian school and make payment for her enrollment. And that requires additional 5k AUD.
Accommodation stuffs also is very important. Some homeowners don't want family in a shared apartment. I will like to settle down for a while before they join me. |

@shinerploy please do declare them in your application but i suggest you apply with them. My husband is the main applicant and we all applied with him, we paid OSHC for a family too. Myself and little one don't intend relocating with him now till later in the year. If you can, do apply with them. Still waiting for visa grant, our testimony is loading. shinerpoly: @malkinburg, thank you very much for responding to my question. But I will be glad if u could shed more light on bolded words.
I will surely declare them on my application. But pls do I need to include their passport photograph, international passport and birth certificate with my own visa application package. Or all I need to do is just to declare them on my visa application " Pls note they will apply for their visa to join me later"
@those that have gone through this same process kindly respond. Thank u |

@richnet what is the update? richnet: Hello fellow nairalanders,
Please i need your advice.. I Applied for 572 visa on 18th Feb 2016, I emailed embassy on 3rd march to find out if my application has been received. They replied on 4th March that my application has been received and still understand standard processing time of 3 month.
My IELTS result will be over 2 years after March, another thing is that the school i applied commences on 24th April.. And yet to hear from the embassy, please is it wise to write them an email? I have already uploaded my medicals.. Since last month too..
Awaiting your advice.. |

My daughter is 17 months old OmogeNG: Don't mind Fatayi Williams...they just want money. I never even took any Polio or Yellow Fever vaccination from them. I uploaded our govt hospital card showing we got the booster dose for polio to the CO, and for the Yellow Fever, i took the same booklet to the ports health. to get the card, and didn't have to immunise again. This was for we adults.
For the kids - All I did was upload my children's immunisation booklet to the CO...and it was accepted with no objection. Immi/Border Force has no issues with that. When it came to departure, I took their booklet to the ports health and they were issued a yellow fever card without having to immunise again.
One was 18mths old, and the other was 3/4weeks old when I did all these.
I don't know why Fatayi Williams gave another polio dose after 9mths. It is not only unethical, it is not WHO recommended. OPV/IPV ends at 10 weeks I think.
Upload her immunisation booklet (Front n Back) on your immi account, I can assure you it will be accepted. |
