TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by mrsoje(f): 3:08pm On May 03, 2016
i have a baby too and i took her immunization record booklet to FATAYI williams it was rejected. They claim her last polio vaccination was at 9 months thus they gave her anoda drop. If you can i will advise you take your baby to Fatayi Williams have them give your baby the vaccination and collect your certificate.

jukeblam:
Anyone with a similar case who included a baby dependent can help out here.

I just got a request from CO requesting for baby's "polio vaccination certificate"; baby is just over a year old, so has had the OPV taken during one of the routine immunization days.

Would a scan of the immunization records booklet suffice as a certificate? Or the certificate has to be from Fatayi-Williams Clinic too?

So far so good, Unconditional Offer letter received from Flinders and RMIT. They both offered Masters in Engineering. (2 yrs)

Suggestions are needed as regards which is more suitable to accept; looking at future PR route.

Hi Kaysway, i don't think anyone will intentionally not response to your enquires. Probably peeps dont know what to say. Here is a DIY forum, you will read up and ask questions. But for the little i know(am still learning) am not sure you can get your PR that way. i suggest you finish your degree course (at lest 4yrs or 5yrs) before you venture into changing your degree at postgraduate level.

cant he even apply for Pr and once he gets hes Pr, he can apply for Masters which should be cheaper. griffith doesnt ask for ielts and no interviews.
thanks @mpop and @cremeuc @NNBB2012 for your response. PR is a long thing as he doesn't have up to 3 yrs experience.
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by mrsoje(f): 5:35pm On Mar 08, 2016
[quote author=NNBB2012 post=43591893]He should apply for PR instead of applying as a student. It is very expensive.[/quote

We discussed our options but we decided to settle for studying. He will apply for pr when he gets there during or after his studies. He is an academia.

E- family.....its a long journey from part 1 to this page. Been reading up and gathering information. Thanks to you all. Been in touch with @mpop and she has been very helpful.
I just have few questions to ask. My husband recently applied to RMIT (Master of Engineering Management) and Griffith (Master of Engineering Project Management Advanced) for June/ July intake. He didn't write the English test as it was stated in the transcript that the course was taught in English( B. Eng Electrical Electronics(Uk) and Instrumentation and Automation HND/ OND Certificate(Nigeria).

@Demi10 @Adetoi01 @chi50 @ada4ada @mpop @all

1) how long does it take to get offer letter from RMIT and Griffith?

2) at what point will they call us for interview?

3) Will you advise he still seat for the English test for visa purposes?

4) Do you advise we apply together or we apply after he has left? Myself and daughter won't be joining him now till next year.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

FamilyRe: What Kind Of Food Can One Give An Under-weight Picky Eater Toddler? by mrsoje(f): 2:51pm On Oct 14, 2015
You have to be persistent, also try using Haliborange instead of the wellbaby multivitamins. Stop offering him the food he wants instead look for other ways to prepare his food like boiling the potatoes, plantain, yam instead of frying, fruits, cereal, soya, fresh fruits etc. he will outgrow it, i understand how you feel my dd is like that too. you can get a lot of information from this forum too https://www.nairaland.com/971395/new-born-babies-u-new/348

twizzie:
My toddler is almost 30 months and a very picky eater... He is under weight as he is like in the 10th percentile in weight and height. He practically wants to live on fluids (Mostly milk) and sometimes cereal... He likes fries and pastries too but we all know that isn't really healthy... We have tried so many things with little result... He is presently on Well Baby Multivitamins...
Suggestions on fattening foods and recipes will help please.
Thanks!

thanks to all Finance Fitness, :Ladyguinivere, firsttymum i was at the embassy on wed 30th of Sept, my daughter visa interview was a success. it was granted after my passport booklet and birth certificate was sighted. Houston enroute late nov to early dec.

@olokings @gaggle @shawlar @ bestsnews @queenestty @ toks07 @beryl15....may God bless the little one and May we all reap the fruit of our labour over our babies in Jesus name, Amen

i hope i get to catch up with you in November @firsttymum, i wont mind rendering omugwo services free cheesy

FinanceFitness:
Please go ahead, should be easy for you since you were honest last year and ended up not going. Just book his own appointment and have your usual proof ready - plus explanation on why you couldn't go again.

If not personal, can you please share why you didn't go again?

Passport in your maiden name is fine. A very long time ago - 10yrs a friend going with a toddler was asked to come with proof of being the mother. So you can take the birth certificate, if your name is your current name there, include advert for change of name and marriage certificate, if you have preggy pictures, naming pictures, newborn and other family photos, please take them along too, they may want to sight them.

Like seriously, am in a dilemma too; my little one is 10 months she was Exclusive Breastfed for 6 months, there after i introduced cereals, puree and the likes which she accepted smiley ; fastforward to 2 months later she refuses everything the only she food she accepts now is yogurt and breast-milk any other food you offer her she will spit it back on you angry ; if you don't offer her food she wont cry for food lipsrsealed . she can go a whole day without eating. i have tried all i can. Now my only bet is to forcefeed her angry am not comfortable with it. Pls suggest solutions to me.

NB: i introduced her to Wellkid to help improve her appetite

MiracleMum:
Didnt see any change when i used Abidec, but my daughter's paed prescribed Reloaded for infants. gave her before bed time and she was rushing for food when she woke up. I'd keep giving her, i pray it continues to boost her appetite cos she doesn't wanna eat at all as well.
