City have thrown down the gauntlet. Let's see if SAF and the boys respond in kind as City arent going away. Seems it might come down to that Etihad stadium match as the decider. There could be a biafra war that day in Manchester!

That article is pretty spot on. Either Stock or custom ROM is the best way to enjoy Android. Th only skin worth anything is HTC sense and even that is such an overblown resource hog.

I think if we win the league this season it is a huge achievement. I personally didnt expect us to win but will be very very happy to be proved wrong. The difference is Fergie. Im personally convinced he would have won the league with the squads of the current top 4. With City's squad he would have been crowned EPL champs by end of March.

@dayokanu. I think the expectation at those clubs is very different. Arsenal had just moved to a new stadium which cost an arm and a leg. not saying they dont spend money but compared to the title winners in the last 7 yrs they haven't spent as much. Also, have a look at what Moyes has spent during his time at Everton and compare to his counterparts. To even finish 4th at any stage is a huge achievement for Everton.

Alot was going on behind the scenes way before that happened. The senior players had the ear of Roman. Once that happened AVB was a dead man walking. All this would have happened with or without the influence of the media. Its pretty obvious Roman is very cut throat. The media didnt want Jose to lose his job they loved Jose. Same with Carlo. With AVB he made his own bed with the senior players at the club but he didnt stand a chance once those guys had direct access to Roman. Roman does what he wants regardless of what anyone thinks.

and the employers are forced to sack after reading the news or listening to sky on how pathetic the club is performing.
sky would put a poll and people would vote. sky would stick microphones in the mouths of the fans whose opinions are beamed live to the rest of the world.
of course, the chairmen's hands are forced to do something. if they lose the trust of their fans, the attendance would drop and no money would be made.
I think you are definitely over-egging the importance of the media in the hiring and sacking of managers.

Im not convinced the media played any major role in the sackings of any of Chelsea's sacked managers.

Fabrice Muamba Update
Sunday 18 March, 2012

Fabrice Muamba remains in a critical condition in intensive care in the Heart Attack Centre at The London Chest Hospital.

Fabrice was admitted to the hospital yesterday evening after collapsing at White Hart Lane, where he sustained a cardiac arrest during the FA Cup quarter-final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Fabrice received prolonged resuscitation at the ground and on route to The London Chest Hospital, where his heart eventually started working.

As is normal medical practice, Fabrice remains anaesthetised in intensive care and will be for at least 24 hours.

His condition continues to be closely monitored by the cardiac specialists at the hospital.

Bolton Wanderers Manager Owen Coyle said: "Fabrice's family have asked me to pass on their thanks for the many, many kind messages of support from not only Bolton fans but also fans from clubs across the country and abroad.

"All our thoughts and prayers are for Fabrice and his family. The family would also like to thank the media for respecting their privacy at this time."

No further updates are planned at this time

This one is firmly on the boss. He got schooled by Biesla. Badly.

The insistence on not addressing the midfield again killed us. Our midfield has no legs, cant press and cant create. We needed goals and baba thought not to start with a striker apart from Rooney.Defence exposed time and time again.

Unless he's happy getting schooled regularly by Iberian opposition, he badly needs to address the midfield. We could ask Munian to come and bring Llorente along with him kiss . While we're shopping We might need to think about another left back.

Imo it has to be 2 midfielders. I dont believe Bastian is a realistic option. I cant imagine he'll ever want to leave Bayern.

But yes a player in that bastian mould would be preferrable as I can bet SAF will on buy one midfielder. Would love Hazard and probably love Modric abit more.

Anyone think it was interesting we saw Pogba come on as sub today? rumours were rife he's signed a deal with Juve but hope this means he's actually staying.

No one has uttered anything about winning the league yet. Still a long way to go. but going top a point clear is always very nice. so it'll be enjoyed.

Right now, this stage is not even about playing good football. its more about holding your nerve and concentration. We've proved we can. Let's see if City can as well.

Its Apple, they will continue to make impressive products. problem is they have set the bar so everyone expects revolution everytime they release something new.The current ipad2 is still the best tablet out there ( and im not really a fan of iOS) and this new ipad when just cements their position in the tablet market.

Android and Windows 8 are way to young tablet wise. They might catch up on phones but with tablets Apple had a proper headstart.

I am very intrigued by Windows tablets though but we all know how things always look better in theory.

Tough match tomorrow. Really need the team to stand up for this one. I know SAF wont stand for any rubbish from the players but he better come correct aswell.

However, when asked to speak about the situation following tonight's 3-2 Europa League defeat by Athletic Bilbao at Old Trafford, Ferguson said he had been silenced.
"The Premier League has written to me asking me not to talk about the England manager's job," he said. "I don't know why."
Like I give a damn about England job. wetin concern you SAF? unless the England job is your retirement plan. angry
