You say that, but another day we could have a striker who was in the mood to finish even his dinner and we would have won that games last night. It would have covered up glaring deficiencies but it has happened many times this season.

Tinkering is only an issue because the squad isnt strong enough. Particularly in midfield. He has to tinker we know we're very lucky Rio is playing so many games and not getting injured yet ( *tocuhes wood*) so he needs to be rested when possible. After the spurs game and with West Brom coming he picked the Bilbao game to rest him and that was a good decision to me because the League is far more important than the Europa. Everyone and their dog knows we dont have the squad for more than one competition and that has to be the league.

Only positive is that Rooney is on a scoring burst so we should get some goals from him for the next 7-8 games.

Its still the midfield that is killing us, cause SAF doesnt know what he's doing there and its affecting other areas of the team.

Messi would destroy the EPL as well. he is that good. He's played games where he has been the target of ugly tackles and more than survived. He's beaten the best of England numerous times and would continue for the near future. its not all the work of Xavi and Iniesta its also his genius. Of course great players need to be in great teams as well but if he was in any of the top teams in England he would be doing the same thing he does for Barca. Simply incredible.

I still feel he should have been given time to build his own squad in his own image. The players didnt back him because he wanted to phase out the older guys and they werent having it. One of the main problems is that the likes of JT have the direct ear of Roman. They can go straight to speak with Roman which should never be allowed to happen. AvB didnt stand a chance really and its all part of what contributed to results been poor. No changes theere at all. The next manager will come in and the same will happen if he doesnt win FIFA world cup and African nations cup as well. I wonder how Roman can be so successful if he has kneejerk reactions to everything and making such huge errors in judgement.

None of them have been as bad as Jones though. We've pretty much played this match with 10 men. Even at 0-3 up he's playing poorly.
