Problem we have is that Giggs is still the best crosser at the club and our central midfield is weak and was ravaged with injuries so we have no choice but to play him.

^^^^^ dude let bygones be bygones
Well Suarez didn't apologise to Evra instead releasing a general apology.
And lately made a comment along the lines of "what happens on the pitch should stay on the pitch."

Why should Evra acknowledge him?

As much as we complain about the legend that is Ryan Giggs,

8 - Ryan Giggs & Juan Mata have joined Antonio Valencia on eight assists, joint-second behind David Silva.
Legend. cool

It was an entertaining game but very frustrating. we never deserved to be 3-0 down but we obviously didnt come out of the dressing room after half time. When we finally did we played ok. I thought we were lucky with the 2nd penalty decision, Wlebeck dived but it happens, you win some you lose some decisions. We've had poor ones against us this season. We came back well but not good enough. Very small margins for error in this title race. Really hope city still slip up.

Good save from DDG for that Mata freekick by the way. cool

Evra was really weak for that goal. Shouldnt have left Sturridge roast him so easily.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: John Terry: Fa Set To Remove England Captaincy by MrTA(m): 1:38pm On Feb 04, 2012
Alamutuu:
This is nothing but conspiracy and "bad belle" hatched by Rio Ferdinard using his mediocre brother to get back @ John Terry.

I stand to be corrected but don't think there is any other team in England with players coming from diverse background like Chelsea even before the coming of big man Abramovic.

A team that once paraded the like of desailly, Milchot ,the stocky guy from cameroon (can't recall his name now), Johnson (now with Liverpool) and currently numerous black or "negroes" according to mischief makers - Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou, Essien, Ramires, Mikel Obi etc and none of these guys have even complained of suffering any racial abuse from Terry.

Rio Ferdinand is still feeling hurt that captaincy was given back to Terry and think he can use his waka pass brother to get back at Terry.

I only pity the English national team as this will only lead to another disastrous tournament.

For crying out loud why would Terry abused Antoinne Ferdinand? For what? Is he the only black player playing in the Epl or even the same QPR team that has the likes of Shaun Wright Phillips a former Blues.

Rio Ferdiand who was once banned for taken drug now want to tarnish the career of a great footballer.

I would rather advise Terry and his fellow Blues players to withdraw from the English team in solidarity with Terry until the end of the so called kangaroo trial in July and let see how far they can go in the coming euro hampioship.

ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A MERE SET UP BY AN ANGRY AND WICKED RIO FERDINAD UNABLE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HE'S NOT COMPETENT TO BE THE THREE LION'S CAPTAIN.
Congrats, this is one of the worst posts Ive ever read on these forums. Never seen a post that could be this long and 100% wrong .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by MrTA(m): 9:56am On Feb 03, 2012
I would keep with goal line men because its an easier task than expecting your makers to be 100% when marking the attacking players.
To Mark in a very crowded penalty box is very tough and even tougher when you have all your players marking as you likely to get in each others' way. Any intelligent attacker will use that to his benefit quite easily. But having men at the post doing their job is like extra insurance which is always needed. That's not to say their near post markers do not sometimes mess up but their position is easier to recover than that of a marker and their task is also easier.

The main difference with Rooney and our other strikers is that even when the whole team is crap he can drag us through. Berba and the rest only perform when the rest of the team perform.

DDG will get a run as apparently AL has an injury that will keep him out for a bit. Dont think Nani will make tonights' match also. Talk about bare bones of the squad.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 7:38pm On Jan 30, 2012
I wouldnt blame him for the 2nd goal, but that was a typical chance where late in a game we have mostly dominated he's called upon to bail the team out and he hasnt delivered.  Fact is, I just dont have any faith or confidence that when it comes to the crunch,he could save us in the dying minutes by producing a huge save or a great performance when the team has been poor.

I still think he should be given time and we shouldnt just dump him like that. He's obviously very talented and still really young for a goal keeper. Not many goalkeepers had this much pressure on them at this age and he's obviously talented if lacking confidence and consistent playing time. I wouldnt dump him yet but it means we have to be prepared to suffer a little to gain in the long run as if he fulfills his potential we could be sorted for a keeper for the next 15 odd years.

Might want to sort out laser eye surgery for him though. tongue

Friends,

If we have android dev here on nairaland who can help develop a nairaland app like that xda application. It would be more easier for users to access the site via handhelds. It's just a suggestion

Cheers
You just need the nairaland forum to be tapatalk enabled( that's one for the nairaland powers that be). that's what they (@XDA) use anyways. tapatalk is a pretty good app.

What a poor poor late goal to concede. Bad defending all round and shame we cant even rely on DDG to get us out of jail. He was a nervous wreck today.

We just didnt work the keeper enough despite our dominance. Annoying.

Hopefully the injuries and subside and we can go on a run. Atleast we dont have a replay but i didnt want to lose to the racist scums.
