Jones is touch and ago and I really really dont want to see Giggs and Scholes in this match as they'll get dominated. Injuries are really killing us. Rio is still touch and go as well so who will partner Carrick in the middle if Jones doesnt make it? We're pretty much picking the team from whoever is fit and available not whoever is on form so now we're lacking competition for places.

Lame and Corrupt Spanish FA cannot see hw English FA discipline their defaulting players. Even a more obvious and blatant stamp by that animal Pepe of madrid on Messi last week, have almost gone without any ban whatsoever.
Shame on them for allowing thugs and wrestlers in the pitch!
Shame on Madrid!
Shame on Mou and Pepe!
It shows their incompetence not witch hunt. if not they would have banned Lescott for a blatant elbow and also Peter Crouch for the eye poking incident aswell.

Why are you crying about man utd? Is it man utd that forced Balotteli to stamp on Parker? Stop being so paranoid. How about your players play the game and you not cry that everyone is trying to cheat you? Carry on though if that makes you feel better. Pathetic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 6:24pm On Jan 23, 2012
I would still take him over Cahill anytime anyday.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 6:22pm On Jan 23, 2012
Im sorry but please do not mention Gary Cahill anywhere near this thread. I'll keep my jonny Evans thank you very much. Cahill is one of the worst one on one defenders you will see in this league. Just watch him at Chelsea and you see. No thank you.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 9:26am On Jan 23, 2012
You guys are overly harsh on Welbeck. You are expecting him to perform like the finished article when he clearly still developing. He had 3 good chances yesterday, scored one was unlucky with the one Mertesacker cleared off the line and was poor with one. Really not enough to call him a terrible waste yesterday considering his overall performance.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 8:06pm On Jan 22, 2012
The problem with Chica, as much as I like him, is that He's overall performance outside finishing is below average. He has also had a very bad habit lately of not timing his runs properly and getting caught offside too much which is poor mainly because he's so quick he shouldnt do that. I agree that as a finisher, he's probably the best at the club but you need more than that at this level.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 7:50pm On Jan 22, 2012
I thought Welbeck was fine today. Put in a good performance. Infact Mertesacker was lucky welbeck stayed on his feet with that chance as he fouled welbeck and that would have been a straight red.

Jones just recovered from a light ankle sprain thats pretty much what popped out again but while I agree he could h avce started one of the twins. they dont exactly have a good injury record.

why did fergie start jones in the right back position?
1) Smalling is a better cb than Jones.
2) Jones hasnt really had the chance to learn that position ( see his previous cb performances)
3) Jones has far better qualify going forward than Smalling or Evans.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 7:07pm On Jan 22, 2012
Good deserved win. We were the better side apart from a 15mins spell we wanted to commit suicide and let arsenal back in the game.

Evra MoTM. I wasnt happy with how many bad tackles Rooney got today. if that was on RvP Wenger would be having a mental breakdown. Also another bad tackle on Nani, I really hope Nani wont be out for too long. Valencia put in a strong performance aswell.

Jones out with another injury. Ridiculous.

Read a rumor recently that Morrison "pinched" Rio's watch and some other allegations of recent bad behavior. No doubt d boy is talented, but his head is not yet where it needs to be. Apparently one of d reason he hasn't gone out on loan, unlike others (Tunniclife e.t.c) is because d club is too afraid to let him out of their sight.
Rio denied this happened on twitter by the way.

SAF on the situation with Ravel Morrison:

"His agent has been working hard to get him another club. We've offered him terms which he has refused. We've rejected an offer from Newcastle. We'll see how that progresses. His demands are unrealistic as far as we're concerned.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 2:29pm On Jan 13, 2012
I think the club has decided to let Morrison go as they realised will be in prison within 3 years.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by MrTA(m): 10:38am On Jan 09, 2012
I missed the first half as I was driving home from Kent so didnt even catch any of the build up. Got home, switched on my TV and saw Scholes warming up. huh and I thought maybe it a re-run of an old derby match. Then i saw the score was 3-0 and couldnt understand what was going on.

The return of Scholes ( as much as I love him) was just an awful idea and it goes to show again how much of a mess SAF has made of the midfield.

Anyways, I only saw highlights of the first half but saw the full second half live and i thought we were again poor and very fortunate. I also praise Mancini for the way he setup his team after half time. Which is exactly what we should have done at OT but no, Baba didnt make any changes.

Also Lindegaard looked poor and shaky. I think DDG's talent is obvious but he's having a tough time at the moment but i think he should get our long term number one shirt. He doesnt speak the language which has to change and once we can get a settled back four together we will be tight again defensively.

The loss of Vidic is really killing us as Rio has lost atleast a yard of pace and you can see that by how deep he plays. Jones needs to play in defence so he can learn the art of defending properly. He seems to have forgotten that he's a defender by trade. He doesnt even need to play CB he should be our RB for now while Smalling plays cb with Rio as much as possible. Evra is also struggling and the twins are made of balsa wood, and Evans is Evans,

Im not sure what's happening with the Rooney rumours and unrest but I dont like it and its obvious something is up. Needs to be sorted one way or the other 'cause it cannot continue as its impacting the team negatively. If he wants to go , let him go, if he wants to say, do that and give 100% for the cause.

Shout out to Welbeck who's looking better and better every game.

Liverpool in the cup is a tough draw for us but bring it on. hopefully we dont have anymore injuries and we'll beat them. Hope the racist enablers continue to expose themselves.

Something is going on at the club with the rooney rumours. As they say, no smoke without fire.

If he goes he goes. No one is bigger than the club.
Good to see Liverpool fans are showing their proud nature of racism lastnight.

We needed a winger for the left handside though. I dont think it should have been young but we definitely needed someone new fresh and dynamic there. Nani plays his best on the right and Valencia has no left foot. park is a bit part player we cant really rely on and giggs is done playing on the left ( or in general anyways) but we also really needed at the very least one midfielder especially since SAF doesnt think Pogba is good enough (yet).

Newcastle 3-0 Manchester Utd: Man Utd had just 6 shots at goal - their lowest tally in a PL match this season

Trophyless season is one thing but abject humiliation?
So far this season

1-6 loss to City
winning only 2 games against Otelul Galati in the CL
Europa League
Defeat to Basel
Europa league
Park and Rafael playing central midfield for us
Europa League
home defeat to Blackburn
Europa League
Hammering by Newcastle
Europa League with Collymoore commentating on Channel 5 on Thursday nights,
City in the FA Cup?

This is not just a trophyless season, this could be complete humiliation of a season for us. Oh and did I mention we are in the Europa league?
Seems we have to be more worried about Spurs than man city. Over to you Baba, you've said the squad is good enough even though everyone and their dog can see it isnt. Let's continue to jukpa till May and see where we end up.

Make we dey jukpa eh,

Quick question for you Arsenal fans. Dont shoot me please!

IS Alex Oxlade-C still at the club/injured or going on loan? From the little Ive seen of him he looks a real talent. Any reason why he's not playing at all?
