That's the PFA's team.

This would have been my team of the season.

That was no penalty. No tackle, no control of the ball by the player, ball heading away from goal, 2 players collide and you give a penalty in extra time of extra time? what more ingredient do you need to name it a dodgy penalty?
Lucas was infront of Eboue, when the tangle of legs happened, direction or where they are facing is irrelevant. its in the box. That is a foul anywhere on the pitch aswell, no way can you say that was a collision between two players come on.

Another bonus Arsenal dropping points at home again. Just what the players needed before the Newcastle away match. Need to win @ Newcastle because I still think Arsenal will drop points against Spurs, although their away form is pretty good.

He didnt fumble at all though, they were both penalties.

@Debo

Ref fumbled but Eboue was also quite silly, Eboue only needed to keep his position with the ball going away from goal, the ref was looking for it and Eboue gave it to him. Once again we've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and that is the difference for us at present. We always find a way to throw things away.
What did the ref do wrong?

Dont be in denial. It was a penalty.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 7:28pm On Apr 16, 2011
It was a guaranteed red.

Cant complain too much. Berba should have taken one of the chances he had in the first half and the game would have been completely different.

Thought Berba was pretty poor. Carrick started the match very well but the mistake knocked his confidence abit. City definitely wanted it more than us and it was inevitable that they win one game soon.

Looking forward to the response now. Should be good.

We have good momentum but again, I'll be happy with just a premier league title this season. Anything more is a bonus.

Why dont you post the Final in '99 Dayokanu? cheesy We all remember how Sammy Kuffour was in tears grin

Looking forward to the semis but even if we get past Schalke, I wont fancy facing Barcelona or even Real Madrid in the final at all.

This was despite O'Shea. He was pretty woeful in the first half. He was defending for Chelsea. But his the pass to Giggs for the goal was awesome and he improved in the 2nd half.

Rooney was good but Giggs, wow. He's amazing. cool

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 10:13pm On Apr 06, 2011
So who was it that swapped shirts with Carrick for 90mins? cheesy

He was immense today. His best performance in a while. I also like Valencia's intensity. I've missed him.

Great away performance. We got abit of luck with the penalty by Evra but we deserved it today. Always great when Rio and Vidic are at the back and what a save by VDS shocked ( I want to have his babies grin)

Roll on second leg. Atleast Rooney will have a rest before the 2nd leg.

Now for the Fulham game.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 8:46pm On Apr 06, 2011
Great first half. Need to score a 2nd as Chelsea will definitely score in the 2nd half.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 8:21am On Apr 05, 2011
debosky:
Vidic didn't deserve a red - the ref got that decision 100% right. Ba was never in control of the ball so you can't call it a goal scoring opportunity.
Good to see that even Arsenal fans know the rules of the game. smiley
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 8:44pm On Apr 04, 2011
Nice one FA. two game ban is very harsh. He made a mistake and he apologised. reprimand him with a stern warning and even a fine but to hand him a 2 match ban for that is just ridiculous.

Cant complain too much, they always want to set precedents with man utd. Long may it continue, must mean we're doing something right.

Same incompetent FA entertained Blatter this week but not put forward any other nominee for the FIFA president position.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 12:30pm On Apr 04, 2011
Feeling a little underwhelmed here. I dont care about this match as much as I should. undecided

Maybe its because I dont expect us to win the Champions league this year so even if we get past Chelsea I still expect someone to knock us out. I just want the 19th League title more than anything else right now.FA Cup/Champions league would be a nice bonus.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 7:33pm On Apr 02, 2011
Could not have dreamt this weekend better if i tried. Chelsea, Arsenal and even Liverpool ( my pet hate) all drop points. Absolutely brilliant.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 2:56pm On Apr 02, 2011
Fabio definitely has more calmness about him so he's probably the better footballer, but I think Rafael is the better defender.

Na wa for SAF, he just prefers the boys to give us heart attack first. angry grin

We were better through most of the match but the silly mistakes from the back put us in that position in a match we were controlling.

Vidic not looking sharp at all but Smalling was fantastic. He's really growing and if Rio takes the twitter thing full time we have a replacement. cool

Huge 3 points there and now Champions league.
