Erm. . . You offer a 22 year old a four year contract without the view of rewarding him if he improves? . . If na so negotiations are done then u must offer him a new contract every single year if he played better than last season. .
Who says this happened? The club and most clubs always improve a valuable player's contract when his performances merit it. As his performances have merited it now, he wants a pay rise. What is wrong with that?

if he wanted more why didnt he negotiate it a year ago? . . he just signed a 4 yr deal a year ago, he should have put in a clause based on performance for a pay rise if certain targets are met . . . abi no be so?
Because he obviously wasnt in as strong a bargaining position as he is now?

Emmanuel Petit, former arsenal players said the players need some phychological test and I think the coach also need one because there's a news going round that Wenger is close to signing Lehmann.
Be like say, you miss road.

Its always been the way with SAF. He always messes around with the truth about the fitness of his players. But at the same time, Sometimes, players just respond to treatment better than initially expected or differently to others.

Twin connection? shocked shocked

Only just realised the Da Silva twins each have two goals for #mufc and both have come against Arsenal and Wigan.

No joke, not quite first team training, its more training on his own with the first team coaches.

Also Nani back in full training might make the Marseille game.
the referee was a tool. he sent pogba off for dummying a goalie in his run-up to take a penalty. ronaldo does that every time. . . .where is it written in the law book that a player taking a penalty kick cannot dummy the keeper before kicking. the referee ruined the match. after pogba's sending off, morrison lived up to expectation. he is miles above any player on the pitch and his winner was an acrobatic volley. . . . fergie should promote this lad now. he's the biggest teenage talent in the country.
Im sure they introduced the law to stop the dummy in a penalty run up last summer. I'll look for confirmation. Never the less, it isnt a yellow card offense anyways.

Morrison was great but there are still huge question marks over his off field conduct. Looks like one that'll probably end up in prison if he doesnt change. He's obviously a huge talent as SAF would have dumped him with his behaviour if he wasnt. He's had so many last chances that the club obviously rate him highly. He'll get his chance but I think it'll be abit too soon.Plus we're well covered with strikers at the moment.

The youth team just won at Anfield in a bad tempered match. 2-3 win with Morrison scoring twice after Liverpool went 2-0 up.
Both teams ended the match with 9 men. shocked

I guess that's why Im not Man utd manager. cool

Smalling and VDS were immense. and the twins did very well. Rooney also looking very good a again.

We're screwed when VDS retires we really are.

SAF has written off the Cup, I would agree with that normally but we're playing Arsenal at home and we need to get some momentum back.Im not happy at all.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 5:27pm On Mar 12, 2011
Rumoured lineup.

VDS, Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fabio, Brown, O'Shea, Gibson, Rooney, Hernandez.

Not happy with that team at all.

heehehehe, ogunfe

but really, most asst coaches/managers are useless. but still, better be careful o, abi u want pat rice instead? if phelan na ogunfe, wetin pat rice come be? isi ewu?
you cannot be more useless than pat rice, period.
I dont think so, Pat Rice certainly comes across as someone who adds something to the cosmopolitan nature of the Arsenal side. While Its pretty obvious Phelan is just a "yes gaffer" assistant who thinks he still plays for SAF.
he travelled with the team to anfield i think but he was chalked off the team list just before the kick-off. we need pace on the flanks and i think fergie should just play the twins on the flanks. rafael and fabio will do a better job than giggs or fletcher on the flanks. play o'shea and evra as full backs, rafael as a right winger and fabio as a left winger.
I have to say I agree but SAF will never see it like that.

Ive not come here to make fun of you, shame you lost but the better side went through tonight. The ref make a big mistake sending RvP off but firstly Rvp shouldnt have gone for retribution on alves which is what got him a first yellow in the 1st half. Also the ref made poor decisions for Barcelona as well. Should have been a clear penalty in the first half. And dont forget the legit goal given offside for Messi at the Emirates.

Anyways, my point is. Refs mess up as well, but you have to give yourself the best chance in any event which you didnt,( You were quite poor today given how many I thought you would take advantage of Barca missing their two best centerbacks)and RvP didnt.

Better luck next time. (although not too much luck against man utd on saturday wink)

we'll take it on the chin and hopefully get some bodies back. Really hope Nani's injury isnt serious. We could also do with Park,Valencia,Anderson and Rio coming back fully fit for the run in.

D funny thing is people (fans, media, pundits) were screaming for over a week about Rooney's elbow and how d f.a should have punished him. I wonder if we will see d same reaction to Carra's tackle.
There'll be nothing about Carragher's coward's tackle that will probably mean Nani's misses some games.

Yeah, the ref is having a laugh now. And these haters have the nerve to say the refs always give us the decisions. How have Carragher and Maxi not gotten red cards here?

Yep, Good news imo. People dont understand the value of having these guys be at the club for the long term as that's where you form a closer identity between the club and fans.
