What a monstrous weekend in prospect. Looking forward to it.

Apparently the team were treated to a team bonding visit to a pizza place yesterday.

Poor performance really. It was always going to happen eventually that we would lose to Arsenal.

Worried about Nani's performance lately, since Valencia has been back, Nani has been poor.

Need to step it up. No point discussing the ref's performance, he was poor for both sides

Park looked knackered so Im very surprised SAF left him on despite how poor Carrick has been.

True, we know only man utd get the decisions. Especially coming from a Chelsea fan, that's pretty precious.

Im sure Arsenal fans remember this,

Apologies, admittedly that was quite annoying to read, my point stands though.

We'll lose the final but as long as we dont disgrace ourselves, I'll be ok. I just want the premier league title.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 2:43pm On Apr 27, 2011
I dont think we are good enough to beat either Barcelona or Madrid. They are both better than us, the only difference is Barcelona will beat us while looking very good.

We shouldn't reach too much into that performance.
It was fantastic . . . . but let's not get carried away, Schalke were absolutely poor. Prolly the worst I've seen in a CL Semi.

Let's just finish it off at OT.

I've just decided I'll go to Wembley if we get there.
We could go together if you want. Will try and get some tickets.
Wuld be amazing to go to wembley for that final. Getting a ticket would be very tough I imagine though.

Anyways, Can SAF still try to steal Neuer from Bayern pls, ok thanks bye.

Seriously, I only saw highlights of the Inter Schalke match but what the hell were they looking at when these mugs turns them over? huh

No way were they this bad, even just player for player really they should have killed these fools.

Neuer is excellent though.

Arsenal still dropping points is nice to see. Alot of people said Chelsea were always the danger despite their bad spell and it certainly looks like they were right.

I agree entirely, Valencia's left foot does not more than prop him up like a kick stand.

Anyone a little worried about Nani's form particularly since he's switched to the left-wing his decision making as really gone to pot.

True, But as far as Im concerned I dont care at all about the CL. I wont mind us losing to Schalke as we arent going to win the CL. Simply not good enough so at the moment its a distraction.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 10:11am On Apr 20, 2011
We dont really need any favours, its still in our hands we just need to get our form back.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 10:08pm On Apr 19, 2011
Everyone will still drop points. Arsenal will at some point so will Chelsea. As long as we dont drop as many as the rest.

I like the fact not a single replay or word about the Tiote Handball. Having said that more disappointed with the creativity and Hernandez picked a bad time to have his worst game for us.

RuuDie:
Sure there'll be rotations. . . .we have no choice. I think a strong midfield will be key, one that will support the defence and still have the drive to push forward, thankfully Scholes is out for a couple of games and Ando is back.
Goals need to come from that midfield too - Berbatov and Chicharito are going to have their odd days off, we don't have to be over-reliant on 'em giving us the goals. Against Citeh, the midfield especially the wide-men didn't show signs of a goal threat to the oppositions goal the way yaya did to ours.
Fortunately, Rooney is back. cool As long as he's available for the rest of the season, we should win the league.

his performance has slipped since he returned from his injury, he's not consistent like before. i wonder what criteria they use to choose POTY.
For some strange reason, the nominees are picked around December/January
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 1:33pm On Apr 18, 2011
We'll have to rotate, not too much but we have to. No way can we play the same 11 for the next 3/4 matches and get away with it. its pretty much impossible. I just hope it isnt too much. I suspect the biggest changes will come in the Newcastle and Everton games. I can tell SAF will think those are winnable and be more weary or Schalke's unknown quality.

ahead of Nasri and Nanihuh No way.
Maybe its got to do with the age band being too wide or something but if both Nasri and Wilshere go up for the same award, in terms of contribution to the team this season, I'd give it to Nasri everytime.
True that Jack has been exceptional for his age, but that award?? wouldn't vote him ahead of Nasri or Nani.
Ok, I agree with you but I think My problem was more of the age criteria. that Age criteria has always been rubbish when James Milner won it after playing 7 seasons in the premier league grin. Should be 21 and below imo.

After Jame Milner won the YPOTY last year I lost interest. The year Giggs won it also I would have expected Vidic to win it with all those 1 - 0 victories that gave Manure the title. Wilshere is going to be a great player but I've got to hold my hand up that he didn't deserve it this year and don't let me even start on Bale who was made a star by an Inter team that a geriatric Raul scored 3 goals against.
Thank god Jack only recently signed a new long term contract and the boy seems to have a good head on his shoulder, he would have been holding us to ransom on his pay for a new contract by now.
You can see how they build and hype their own only to mercilessly descend on them later.
You really think Wilshere did not deserve young player of the year? He was miles ahead of anyone his age. huh Definitely 100% deserved
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bale Wins Pfa Player Of D Yr by MrTA(m): 11:14am On Apr 18, 2011
Also doesnt make sense if Bale is nominated for young player of the year but doesnt win it but is good enough to win the main player of the year award.

Just Bizarre all round really.
