Y'all know exactly where I stand on this. So with all your following Chelsea FBS thinks Carllotti brought Ramires. . .
Incase you didn't know. . . Carllotti told the board he wanted Schweini. The board overruled him.
Emenalo suggested Ramires and the board bought into it.

Carllotti wants Borini, the board is not willing to give him his contractual demands.
Carllotti wanted Stoch but the board could not guarantee him first team action.
Carllotti wanted Ballack to stay. The board didn't give him a 2-year contract even though he (Ballack) would take a wage cut.
Carllotti wanted Wilkins. . . They fired him.
Carllotti wanted his own asst, they enforced Emenalo on him. .

All this even though he just delivered the double. Who works at his best under such conditions?

I am not about to get into a "Carllotti is the greatest" debate. . and nothing will drag me into it.
I will blame Carllotti only because he keeps using the same players and expects the same results. He never takes risks.
The argument is, if he takes a risk and loses 3-0 to Sunderland at SB, people like FBS will be saying if he had played Drogba, we would not have lost 3-0.

I am backing the Manager full time. He delivered the double. We will bite anyone's hands off just to see half the form we saw last year.
What can Carllotti do about Kalou's endless list of wasted chances? What can he do about a board who chooses Emenalo's recommendation of Ramires for £18m when the combined transfer fees of Khedira, Ozil and Vander vaart was £26m?
Where is the evidence for all this that Lotti wanted? Im not convinced Ramirez was signed because Emenalo said so, over players Lotti wanted. Im not implying lotti has control over transfer because its obvious he doesnt but remember, bar 1 or 2 peripheral figures from last season he is working with pretty much the same squad while his rivals (apart from City) havent really spent big in improving their squads.

I guess I always have a soft spot for local lads in the team. Especially one as long serving as Wes. I still really think he has abit left to offer in a backup capacity especially if we ever get the amount of defensive injuries we got last season. Better to have him that Carrick and Fletcher as our Center backs.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans Thread : Winners of the FA Cup And League Winners 09/10 by MrTA(m): 1:59pm On Jan 06, 2011
Why is it not that simple at Chelsea?

The buck stops with the manager. If players are not performing, rotate them, change formation, motivate them, whatever.

No chance Wes Brown is leaving and really, I don't want him to leave. I don't care too much about the rest as I think big Ed is going to call it a day on his career which is fair enough. Neville will probably get a coaching position which is cool.Owen will go ahead and rob some other mid level club on high wages and spend more than half the time injured.

I heard Leighton Baines turned down a move to Bayern Munich due to homesickness. Is this true and any thoughts on this guy's mental wussness?

He was also reported to have been very homesick in the pre world cup training camp with England. He really needs to man up.

Stoke or Blackpool? we've already played Stoke twice?
StarBoard:
Not necessarily, but a win against Spurs should give us a boost.
I wouldn't necessarily see it as a must-win game ,knowing how tough they've become and also, the game is coming a bit earlier in the season to be termed "must-win" in my book.I'll be fine with a draw there, but I'd like a win.
Having said that,it's an important game all the same-all games from now on are important.Heard we play Stoke the day of the CC semi-finals.

Good win. Chalk up another 3 points. Happy with the goals as well as a good chance to Smalling to play a tough match. Sorry to the Chelsea and Arsenal fans fasting and praying for a defeat or draw. tongue

The more I think about it the more I want Cleverly back at the club for one of the wide roles available considering how much we are missing a wide player for the next 6 weeks or so.

Referees deserve to be shot - missing handballs, penalties and red card fouls.

They will be the death of us all.
Totally agree, i still dont understand how they missed Zigic's handball to allow them steal 2 points from us. angry
