All our defenders are players who can be rated as a 7/10 on their good days. None of them can be described as great. I think until we address that issue, we wont be competing at the level of Real/Barca/Bayern.

Also I think Kane might be a better fit for us than Greizmann.

He and Herrera are overrun in midfield. He's done ok but the system played means he has to do a lot of running and covering instead of dictating the play for us.

I dont believe Bailly/Smalling is a good fit for a central partnership.

They deserve that. We've been so poor in midfield and defence. I think we might need Carrick on with Herrera already on a yellow.

Nice finish from Lingard. I just remembered its hard for the keeper to go to ground that's a very good finish!

Rojo and Darmian are allowed to be terrible at Lb for so many games but Shaw isnt allowed such luxury.

No, that's not right. The ball didnt get to him at because he was at the far side of the ball. Only Gabb is active on that play and that's why it should have been allowed.

You say that but Stoke alone this season have cost us 4 points. There are more mediocre teams than good teams in the league and if we got the max points against the mediocre teams we would be fighting for the title.

Of course he was lucky but that luck was due to him too. He brought that luck and gave them a once in a lifetime achievement so he deserved better than a sacking.

True, I guess that's an even bigger reason he should be one of our targets this season. I was hoping we'd sign him for RB last summer.
